Store had things crammed in but wide enough aisles to get around. It was reasonably clean though the building was obviously older. They had a lot of Halloween things including costumes and decorations that were right in the front though some throughout the store. They had a lot of clothing. Not much in the housewares. Recommend: Not at this point. Zero restroom facilities makes this business un-recommended. Store is heavily trafficked and disheveled nearly every time visiting. To THIS date, the restrooms have yet to be opened up to the public, in August of 2023. I can't condone the lack of business empathy and basic etiquette and public function. Customers can not expect to spend their time here, much less children due to insufficient restroom amenities. Management NEEDS to get this corrected once and for all. It was a ridiculous concept to 'do this' during Covid, and no less absurd three years later. read more

This Goodwill store on Speedway is the messiest most disorganized thrift shop I've ever been to in my Life. I go to at least two thrift shops a week in different cities and states and I'm appalled at how landfill-looking this thrift shop is. They need to have a big sale 50 %ogg everything because they have so much stuff that it's all piled up and not organized and it's falling on to the floors. I told this thrift shopper how messy this store was and she says she's been to the other Goodwill stores, told me where they were and they're far better managed and very neat and clean. She told me another manager told her to call corporate and complain about the speedway store and she said she was going to do that. She said she used to know the manager of this store but now that person went to another store and knows what she's talking about how messy the store is. There wasn't anything I saw that I want to buy in this one. I also feel like the merchandise is in sadder shape than many of the other thrift shops it's a turn off. I was only at this thrift shop because I went to the passport center and stopped by on the way back just to see what I was missing. Well nothing. This thrift shop needs a better manager. I know that customers mess things up and don't put things back right but a good manager organizes and keep things neat like you clean your house because it got messier. You pick up the toys at your kids left all over, you make it nice. read more

This meant the manager had to come over and she refused to lower the price because it has not been on the floor for 3 days. What a load of crap goodwill has become. Squalid..... This store smells terrible! I had to change clothes when I got home because the stench clung to me. I started sneezing in the store, and by the time I got home I had a sore throat and a headache. Every DVD I looked at was scratched and dirty. Multiple shirts had holes, and worst of all, there was a pair of jeans with a s**t stain in the seat. I couldn't get away from them fast enough... I do have to mention that the staff are friendly and cheerful, I can't imagine how, in such a filthy place. read more

This store doesn't even deserve one star. Every single employee was rude. Terrible experience at the store. Sasha and I'm thinking he was a manager. He kept checking on me in the dressing room asking me if I was okay. We're the only reasons why I ended up continuing to shop the girl with the black and purple hair from the moment I walked in the store I wasn't in there not one minute before I asked her. She had something in her hand that she was putting back and I asked her if I could see it and she literally rolled her eyes huffed and puffed and then slammed it on the next hanger rack away from you and then said something under her breath muttering something at that moment. I literally was going to tell her off. What kind of customer service is that? I asked her very politely absolutely terrible. Terrible girl that they have working there. The store was dirty. The floors were dirty. I can't believe this place is even kept open, but thank you! Sasha and Hispanic guy that kept checking on me in the dressing room. Although I do think you should pick up all the broken hangers though, because somebody's bound to trip and fall over them. Safeties first you know I do not recommend shopping at this Goodwill, not at all. If you're going to shop at a store I'd go up the street to savers shoot or next door to speedway outlet. We have been donating to Goodwill Southern Arizona for years. We have donated tens of thousands of dollars in overstock, high end items and designer clothing. Our donations were always appreciated and gratefully accepted. While donating today at 4995 E. Speedway Blvd. in Tucson, we were insulted and discriminated against by an African American man, seemingly and obviously because we are Caucasian. It was plain simple racism and hate. It really put a damper on the spirit of giving and believing it is appreciated by Goodwill. This was a very disappointing and disgraceful experience that I hope is never repeated again. Goodwill, if you read these posts, WAKE UP. Train your staff so this doesn't happen again. read more

One of my joys in the world are going out and looking for my hidden treasures. But the Goodwills in Tucson are so overpriced it's hard to find anything thar you can't find brand new in the store . Just recently moved here from Phoenix and trust me the prices at Goodwill or at least 50% less in Phoenix so I will spend 20 bucks in gas and go back to Phoenix to do my shopping at Goodwill . read more

I had dropped a $100 dollar bill out of my pocket during the week. I realized it at walgreens thinking thats where I dropped it. They ended up calling me back days later only to say nothing was found. I tried here thinking I was never going to see this money again. After all who would turn in at hundred dollar bill. Well I called here and they found it! Thanks to their youth program a young man had found it and turned it in! Thank you so much for the honesty and integrity of this store! This is one of my favorite thrift stores. However, after today's visit, I'm more than a little disappointed! I bought three things which, when I took the price stickers off, found that they had marked it TWICE THE ORIGINAL PRICE! WTH?! The employees obviously don't care what the store looks like! I go there every Thursday and it's always a mess! There are ALWAYS many broken items on the shelves (likely from customers, however, it's never cleaned up?!) and tons of empty boxes (again, likely where customers have stolen, however, never cleaned up?!). This happens week after week after week! It's ridiculous! And the toy section is just a horrible mess! Again, I realize customers (kids) make messes, open boxes, break toys, etc. I'm certain that cleaning up of that area is a non-stop chore. But it seems it NEVER gets done at this store?!? I see the same broken toys and messes every time. And very often there are many potentially dangerous items that have been carelessly tossed in the toy section, but this should be "policed" by store employees! If a child gets injured on something that shouldn't be there, I'm sure the parents (who were likely not paying attention to their child) would want to blame Goodwill. It seems the clothes sections aren't ever checked for accuracy either. I do realize that customers are likely to blame for this, but I would hope that, at some point, the employees would make some attempt to reorganize? On numerous occasions, I've seen things from the Dollar Tree marked at $2 as well as many other items marked at new prices for used goods. WTH?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most people go to thrift stores looking for bargains? You might not find a lot of those here?! But what you will find is a messy store! Good luck. read more

This location gets some REALLY nice donations - the first time there I spotted a half-dozen brand-new URU outfits that looked like they came from Maya Palace, complete with tags, 100% silk, etc. - really gorgeous stuff not my size and/or style, but I was tempted to snap 'em all up and try selling them on eBay, they were THAT nice! Isn't the point of Goodwill that you get stuff cheaper because it's used and it's meant to be a nonprofit? I guess I don't understand why literally most of the store is more expensive than buying the thing brand new on Amazon. So for used and possibly not working stuff with no guarantee that is sold as is, you're expected to pay more, even twice as much or the same price as brand new stuff that's guaranteed to work? Who exactly is pricing this stuff? Rich privileged old people who have no idea how much things actually cost and do not possess the skills to do a price check on the internet? Are they just like, "$10 for a cup! That sounds cheap! My cups are pure crystal and cost $80 each. They're getting a huge discount!" (They didn't price their cups at $10, but you get the idea. Whoever is pricing is definitely living in another world.) Something used without a guarantee should be at least half to a quarter the price as something new and guaranteed to work. Certainly not more expensive than buying it new! I am now so poor that I must buy everything new ... I can't afford to waste money on used and broken things from Goodwill at double the price as new! read more

I've dropped off at this location for years and it is a handy place to unload my items. Lately I've been popping in and getting some really good deals, especially on books. I picked up some quality reading material for .99 to 2.99 and was quite happy. There's some nice selections on furniture and I have picked up a bookcase here. Occasionally they have new stuff (items that were returned) like futons and such. Good deals and huge 50% off sticker sales make it worth visiting! read more

I have been giving donations to good will all my life. This store has a very convienient drop off zone. I have found a few good deals here and there but overall this store gets picked clean pretty quickly by the resale hunters. They are friendly and very cheap. read more

Excellent location. Lots of choices in clothes, shoes, purses, books, and random junk in the back. Even though there are a lot of choices, you have to sift through a lot of torn, stained, 'missing-button' items to find some good ones. Prices are kind of expensive for some items, while others are well marked-- again you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a "good" item. That being said it took me a long time to find "decent" items for decent prices. Maybe my tolerance was lower than normal...or everyone else's was, not sure. But it seemed to me the crazy-meter was a bit high at this particular location. The furniture in the back was dirt cheap, so were sporting equipment and there was random cool stuff on the metal racks above clothing racks. The clothes-there were some random gems and cheap, but not real clean (although the staff was abnormally nice) and complete chaos-I couldn't really determine a size or any kind of real reason. But then again I did go on a Sunday afternoon, prime time for thrifting and crazies-the best times to go thrifting are usually at night on weekdays when people aren't running errands and shopping anyway. I ended up not bothering to try on the clothes I picked out and I found the ladies in the aisles rude and just plain weird. I wouldn't mind trying this place again, but with so many other locations to try out, not sure I can truly recommend it except for furniture. read more
