As you walk in, it looks like a standard thrift store, however there is a specific kids section that is within a separate room. You made it really nice to look for shoes, toys and other kiddo necessities. Decent size store with the expected amount of stuff you don't need sprinkled with a few things that look interesting. They had a pretty extensive section of Americana type stuff, as it was the Fourth of July. I would imagine they do a good job of Having specific paraphernalia for just about every major holiday. The folks working here are perpetually friendly, and it's not quite as busy as Goodwill down the street. It made it a lot easier to navigate with a little dudes! Thrift stores have always been a good way for me to find books, record albums and clothes. I have also found some household items that were reasonably priced. Lately I have found that the clothes prices are outrageous. There were used t-shirts that I could buy new, for less. Same brand, by the way. No albums at all. Canning jars that I could buy a case for less than they had them priced for. And grouping books in packs. Thats great, I would have to buy 10 books for approximately $12.00 instead of the ones I needed and wanted. So, my Mother and I, left without purchasing a thing. It's unfortunate that a thrift store has become so much like the major department store that it's "used" items have become so out of reach for those who cannot afford to buy "new".
