However, I had some trouble getting someone over the phone as did my cosigner and her references. The breaking point was when one of their representatives lied to me, telling me that my application was denied due to them not being able to get in touch with my cosigner's personal references. Now, being denied isn't the issue, but the dishonesty about something I can easily check just by asking around is unacceptable. I don't recommend renting through this company, I wouldn't trust them to be honest with you either.

We toured one of Quartermaster Properties' homes and were excited to apply. Throughout the…read moreapplication process, we responded immediately to every request for additional documentation. Over the course of nearly two weeks, we were asked for multiple rounds of documents, including additional income verification and other supporting paperwork, which led us to believe our application was still under active consideration. After nearly two weeks of waiting and repeatedly providing everything requested, we were informed that the home had been given to "more qualified applicants." While I understand not every application will be approved, the communication and timeline were disappointing. If another applicant was ultimately selected, I believe applicants deserve a more timely decision instead of being kept in limbo while continuing to submit additional documentation. I do appreciate that the application fees were refunded and that the property manager communicated with us throughout the process. However, the overall experience with the approval process left us frustrated and disappointed. Update: The morning after posting this review, I discovered that the same property is still listed as available for an August 1, 2026 move-in and is still actively scheduling tours. This has left me even more confused about how our application was handled. We were told our application was not selected because "more qualified applicants" had been chosen, yet the home continues to be advertised as available. I understand listings can change, but from an applicant's perspective, this only adds to the lack of transparency we experienced throughout the process.
