Based on my personal experience, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND Goodwin Recruiting to recruiters considering joining the organization. I have spent more than 20 years in the recruiting industry and have built lasting relationships with clients and candidates based on integrity, trust, and results. I joined Goodwin Recruiting with the understanding that I would receive back-office support so I could focus on recruiting, building client relationships, and placing exceptional candidates. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Instead of receiving the level of back office support I expected, I found myself handling many administrative responsibilities on my own while also acting as a collections agent when clients became past due. Rather than being able to focus solely on recruiting, I was spending valuable time collecting invoices for the company. The most disappointing part occurred at the end of my relationship with Goodwin Recruiting and CEO Andy Decker. After personally working with one of my clients to collect a $23,000 outstanding payment, Goodwin received and deposited those funds. The very next day, my contract was terminated without explanation. At that time, I was also still owed commissions from another client's payment that I had successfully collected earlier in 2026. To this day, I have not been paid those commissions, nor have I received any communication from Goodwin Recruiting regarding the matter after several emails of false accusations, repeated bald-faced lies, excuses, and threats from Andy Decker. I still don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror every morning. He's a very, very sick individual! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since leaving, I have spoken with other recruiters who described experiences that raised similar concerns for me. Those conversations reinforced my decision to share my own experience publicly so others can make an informed decision.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While Goodwin Recruiting never paid the commissions I earned or communicated with me about them, God never stopped providing for me. He opened doors no one could shut, blessed me with incredible clients through joining an honest Christian-based recruiting franchise, and reminded me that my provision has never been in the hands of deceitful companies or evil people It has always been in the hands of God. Looking back, what felt like one of the greatest disappointments of my career became one of God's greatest blessings. I want to end this review differently. Father God, I pray that Andy Decker and the Goodwin Recruiting leadership team seek God's wisdom above profit, choose integrity over convenience, and treat every recruiter with the same honesty, fairness, and respect they would desire for themselves if they were a contract recruiter at their company. I pray that if there are business practices that have harmed recruiters, they would be exposed. I pray that they have the humility and courage to make them right. I also pray for every independent recruiter still working hard every day under the Goodwin Recruiting name. May you protect them, bless the work of their hands, give them discernment, and ensure they receive all of the compensation they have honestly earned for serving their clients and candidates. I had two encounters with goodwin recruiting first very successful back in 18 the second in 23 November they placed a candidate that lasted in my business for 3 weeks. I paid their fee of 10K for this candidate. I than hired from indeed a candidate that they said they placed even though he had applied to my place of business 3 times at the very same time they sent me his resume. They came in at a salary of 60k for this candidate and without me knowing i had a conversation with him and he requested 16 per hour to start. They than claimed that this (my hire) was the replacement hire for the 10k chef they placed that walked out on a weekend, that I paid 10k for. Wow, just steer clear. They're shady and hurting the very industry they are claiming to support. I write this now as i believe we need to watch out for each other, I'll keep coming back as a reminder of a job very poorly done. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. Please beware of this company. They don't perform background checks on candidates, or even fact check their resumes. We paid a handsome sum for a high level position and the candidate came highly recommended from Goodwin, the candidate was in fact pushed on us, yet, the candidate never performed the duties listed on their resume. A simple call from consultants we work with proved this candidate had a very bad track record, we let this person go within the probationary period. I spoke out to the COO of Goodwin to ask for our money back and he said he was sorry and that he couldn't do that. The position this company put us in was completely compromised and completely unprofessional. Stay away and beware of their fictitious candidates. read more
