They ignored phone calls and emails and letters I wrote them after our initial contact. At any cost, avoid giving any business to Liberty Mutual, ever. My upstairs neighbor's water heater leaked and water poured in through my ceiling, frying overhead wiring and causing chunks of ceiling to droop and stain. Her insurer, this company, denied my liability claim, stating that the owner couldn't possibly have known the water heater would fail so she was not liable for the damage it caused; this despite the fact it was the SECOND time this had happened; her last heater also failed and leaked into my unit a decade ago. Emboldened by their decision, the owner has ignored my requests for compensation for the damage her (repeated) negligence caused and now my condo association (firmly on my side of things) is going to have to get involved. Liberty Mutual is a greedy, deceitful company using bogus reasoning to deny claims. You should easily find better coverage with anyone else.
