The ambience of La Buena Barra is amazing, great lighting, ceiling fans to keep a light breeze going, and music that is loud enough to prevent you from hearing conversations at other tables, but still allowed us to talk just fine. Our servers Jonathan and Estefany were the sweetest and most attentive that we experienced during our trip! Excellent food recommendations, even advising against getting a second dessert (due to their size) instead of just letting us spend more money there. Absolutely worthy of 5 star service! Ok- the food: very good, probably some of the more distinct flavors we enjoyed in Cancun. Also a very unique selection of cocktails, delivered in all sorts of unique glasses. BUT truly the best thing we ate was the corn ice cream! It's molded ice cream that looks exactly like an ear of white corn with a ribbon of dulce de leche in the center- honestly the best ice cream I've ever eaten at a restaurant! There was an omelet station, someone making homemade tortillas for tacos, Bloody Mary's, fresh squeezed orange juice and watermelon juice. It had everything! Everyone seemed happy.
