As for the complaint that Dr. Paley pushed the COVID vaccine, medical science has shown that the risk of serious complications or death from COVID is astronomically higher than complications or death from the vaccine. He is following medical science and protocols in advocating that a patient reduce risk by getting vaccinated. But the choice is still the patient's.

The doctor has to go to lunch and then she has a meeting! I couldn't believe this happened for a fourth time and I went asked to speak to the doctor and I was waiting again for them to give me a reply. They came back out and said well she can help you make another appointment, but she can't see you ---what the heck?? I'm in my 60s I never in my life have had such a horrible experience in the span of 1 1/2 weeks having my appointment canceled four times that is just unacceptable to me. I'm very concerned about what happened to the level of care at PAMF!!! They think it's OK keep me waiting for 20 minutes or more when I have an appointment and have then have the nerve to tell me the doctor is not there or at lunch?? and I have to go home and come back another day and make another appointment four times in a row! This doctor couldn't take five minutes to talk to me, especially after Im coming out of the ER the day before- this is highly inconsiderate and disrespectful to your patients. I changed doctors. I have had enough even though I really liked Dr. Altman five years ago when I first saw her, but now she and her staff show no respect or concern whatsoever for what they put me through . No apologies were given, no accommodations were made for their incompetency in scheduling and caring for and managing the patient. And the attitude I got was if it was no big deal for them to send me home and come back another time. I have a busy life. I have a job and can't keep taking time off because of scheduling mistakes my time is valuable also. The first time I was sent away, I had Covid and it was really difficult for me to walk to the appointment and even get there and they had the nerve to send me home due to their scheduling error. Shame on This practice!! To pour salt on the wound when I left, I must have lost my parking ticket and there's no attendant in the booth anymore so I couldn't get out of the parking lot without paying $35 for spending less than an hour in the parking lot!

I highly recommend Dr. Sach Takhar. He has such a lovely, calm and engaging manner - even in moments of crisis...sliced finger! He was able to see me within 30 minutes of my "accident" and was gentle in his treatment, brilliantly distracting me with conversation. His care enabled me to fly internationally, as planned, within less than 24 hours. He made time to see me the following week to check on the healing and am so grateful to Dr. Takhar - my finger has healed like brand new! Free parking along the entire street also makes things so convenient. Grateful One Medical exists and that they have such amazing teams at both their San Mateo and Burlingame locations.
