It is nothing short of amazing to stand next to one of these beautiful horses. When you visit the farm, by appointment only, you will see many before and after pictures of abused horses. The owners will give you a tour of the farm and introduce you to their farm family which includes at least 3 cats, a peacock and Yellow dog they will tell you amazing stories of rescues and abuse. In addition, if you love horses, you can donate your time to the farm, and of course, they accept any monetary donations that are tax free to you!

Anyway, I called 3 of the vets in Bartow County and their prices were between $300 and $400! So I decided to check Calhoun and found All Animal Veterinary Hospital and I could not believe what she said! I kept verifying the price and that she is in heat, and might weigh more than 25 pounds, and that it includes shots! She said the price is $104.00!!! We have an appointment on Wednesday. Check this one out before you go to the vet again. It's across from Walmart at the traffic light. Update: Sugar Baby came thru the surgery and recovered with flying colors! We took her back to have the stitches removed and again we were so pleased with the professional and courteous attitude of this business! I have referred several people and will continue to do so! I feel that the communication I received before returning the kitten did not match what happened afterward, and I am still disputing the additional deductions that were taken from my refund. The reason I returned the kitten in the first place was because he was extremely unsocialized. He spent his time hiding, hissing, screaming, and showing extreme fear. I understand that kittens need an adjustment period, and I gave him time and patience, but his behavior was far beyond what I expected from a well socialized kitten. As a mother with a young child, I ultimately felt it was best for him to return to the breeder's environment. After this experience, I started reading more reviews from other buyers and was shocked to find multiple reviews describing the exact same issues with unsocialized kittens. One reviewer even stated they had to sell or rehome their kitten because it never adjusted to living in their home. Seeing similar stories from other customers made me feel that my experience may not have been an isolated one. I spent thousands of dollars expecting a healthy, well socialized companion and instead experienced stress, disappointment, and confusion over the refund process. I encourage anyone considering purchasing from this breeder to carefully read the contract, get every refund promise in writing, and thoroughly review all customer feedback before making such a significant financial commitment

Wanted to post a review since many of these reviews are from many years ago and are often about the…read moredoctor that no longer works here. My first interaction with this vet was when my rabbit broke his leg. Most vets won't even attempt to work on small herbivores but Dr Hopkins did a wonderful job. It took some time to heal, he's an older boy, but he is a happy hopping little ol' man of 9 years now. Later I came by to get bloodwork done on our kitten who was being treated for FIP. I usually go to Lafayette Main Street Vet but the drive stresses my girl out so didn't want to go again after she had already been on that drive far too many times. Usually she's challenging to get blood from unless I'm in the room but Dr. Hopkins is one of those old school no nonsense vets that handles fussy pets with ease. Most recently I took my youngest in. From the day I found hIm with his eye half swollen shut and a drippy nose I already suspected he might have life long issues with upper respiratory infections. When he was first treated for it the antibiotics didn't get rid of it entirely and we had to try again. When it came back a couple months later I decided to see if Dr Hopkins might have some more ideas. Like I guessed he has itty bitty kitty herpes. We got a different antibiotic and some lysine treats so hopefully now we can get him back on track! Overall I always enjoy chatting with Dr Hopkins about medical treatments and ideas to help my furry friends live healthier lives.

Paula was extremely patient with helping me select the perfect kitten and has provided a wealth of valuable advice in helping to integrate her into my existing family. I was initially a bit nervous about travelling from the West Coast to Georgia but Paula helped make the process incredibly smooth and, in retrospect, my new kitten made for the best travelling companion ever! The Vet said "your dog definitely does NOT have pancreatitis, get her some real food". Fast forward to a trip to the emergency Vet! They start treating for pancreatitis at a CPL test of 400. My dog was at 1,946!! I sent Wayside an email and got no reply. Be aware and don't always trust what your Vet says. Sometimes it's best to follow your gut. Lacey went to the animal hospital Sunday morning and just came home today. Praying she can recover!
