He waited over a year. I called and set up an appointment he came out and we are now one of their customers. Very impressed, we are having our salt delivered, and installed, they sent us a sheet that told us what days they will be coming out so we could put it on our schedule. It may cost a little more to have them deliver our salt, but it is well worth it, my husband doesn't have to lug those heavy bags of salt down the stairs and fill the softener. We had a little problem. They came out right away and took care of it. I was told, "we haven't scheduled anyone in 20 plus years for a specific time". Okayyyyy, guess my son and I are both imagining things. Then she told me that they don't have us in the system at all. I told her that I have been paying them monthly for a water softener. She finally found me in the system, but at that point, I just decided we were not going to be doing any business with them. Not because she couldn't find us in the system, but 2 days in a row, I didn't appreciate the tone I received. It made me feel unappreciated as a customer. I asked to speak to the manager, Kathy. I told her the situation and told her that her reps are the reason she has lost this account. She said, "Let me know if I can do something to change your mind". She only said that because she had to, you could clearly tell she didn't really care and definitely didn't mean what she said. I do not appreciate getting treated like I'm a bother to them. When I called back to schedule the removal of the water softener, the lady that answered was friendly. Not sure if it was a different person or if boss lady said something about talking to customers a little nicer. The tech from the office did not turn off the water before removing the unit. Water was sprayed all over the room. I had a floating wood floor and water got under the floor and rugs were damaged. I contacted Heather Austin at the Battle Creek office, who has been very rude from the start, and she said they were not responsible for the damage because they could not see any damage. The floor had to be removed to see the damage. I provided pictures and she still did not accept any responsibility for the damage. What was supposed to be a couple hundred-dollar install of a rental unit turned out to cost me about $2000 to replace the floor and I still don't have a unit. They kept the old unit. I will never do business with them again and I tell everyone about my experience and believe it, or not other people have nothing good to say about them either. I wish I would have seen the reviews about this company before I did any more business with them.
