Team VP did not start 2018 on a positive note. After spending two days of the holiday weekend dealing with water leaking into our bathroom and then having to shut our water off and not having water for a large portion of the weekend, we struggled finding a plumber who was available to come and help us fix our problem. We called six plumbers and left messages and Lakeshore was the only company who was kind enough to actually call us back. Even though Lakeshore did not have emergency or holiday hours, they still called to let us know that they would put us on the schedule for first thing Tuesday morning, which was very kind of them because the uncertainty of not knowing was just as painful as the water that was flowing down our walls. They also told us that we should probably just turn our water back on when we needed it because our wall was going to need to be cut open anyhow. Lakeshore, as promised appeared on Tuesday morning and diagnosed the problem (which was unfortunately not a plumbing issue). The young man was polite and professional and timely. He called before he arrived and explained exactly what the problem could be. He took photos of the damage and suggested if the leak starts again to call them back. Really there was nothing anyone could do, but he was very nice about the whole debacle. We need to have three water shut off valves repaired because we discovered they no longer turn properly when we tried to turn the water off at the main and we will be calling Lakeshore back to fix them. They are grossly incompetent. They were assigned to us by our home warranty and it has taken them nearly 3 months to replace a hot water heater because they keep forgetting to do certain aspects of the Job to secure the hot water heater. Every time they schedule us they go to the vendor only to find that the heater is "not is stock." How much does it take for you to call ahead make sure it is in before you schedule me for my appointment. I will never use this company again and neither should you. read more

Job was done correctly but they never came back to remove the old water heater, after many calls & texts to them. The requested 5 stars on their page & never came back. We were very disappointed by these guys! It was under a home warranty service & we paid an extra $635 to be paid cash directly to the company! Do not trust them too easily. read more

we asked them to come out to fix the pressure. we weren't here so not sure what they did. when we returned the issue was the same. They did not check the faucets to see if it worked. If they would have they would have realized it was not fixed. we called another plumber out and they fixed it They fixed the very faucet and not a major issue. owner is very unprofessional. They left my basement full of water and puddles of water everywhere on my drywall soaking up. They replaced my garbage disposal on my home warranty. Had to eat the bill because it wasn't covered so they overcharged for custom modifications on my hot water heater to make up for the difference. Owner ended up calling me after a bad review on Google and cussed me out with a voicemail to prove it and with plenty of photos I do not recommend these people or anyone associated with this company to anyone very poor business ethnic. And very poor communication, horrible business spend your money with somebody else besides these fools. read more

I had a gallon-an-hour leak ending up on the basement floor for two days. Josh from Lakeshore Plumbing was dispatched and quickly ID'd the unseen source of the problem and had things back to normal in the first 30 minutes. He also took the time to answer a few questions about some minor plumbing issues that I'd tried to solve on my own. This company called to say they were on their way and never showed up or called to say they were not coming. 4 hours later they lied and said nobody was home and that we did not answer a call. I called the following morning and was told a manager would call me back. Again, no call. It was clear that they just didn't want to do the job at the end of the day and just blew it off. They are totally unreliable and untrustworthy. I would never use this company except that they were sent by the home warranty company I used. BEWARE!! I'm sorry to have to write this, but I need to warn people. This is a disorganized, fly-by-night operation. They rarely answer the phone, and don't call back if you leave a message. If you do get them on the phone, they make appointments they don't keep: I made five (FIVE!) over the course of a month to pump the septic and put in a riser, and waited all day. They don't show up and don't even call to say they're not coming. The reason I kept trying is they installed the septic originally. Looking back, there were warning signs then too: they had assured me they would install a riser with the septic. Not only didn't they, they buried the tank without marking it, so I had to find it myself. They tried to install a concrete dry well, but it was too heavy for their backhoe, so they scrambled to put in a plastic one, and asked me to pay more. Etc. Called this company based on Yelp feedback. Quality of work seems fine, and they are fairly responsive. Prices are sky high though. $215 to replace a shower handle. Not the valve, just the handle!! If you're in a jam and have to get the job done, call them. For routine maintenance, keep shopping, there are much better values out there. read more

This company has the worst customer service!! I had this place come out on June 17th for our outdoor spigot from my home warranty and was told that I would be given a call with the final estimate. NOTHING!!!! I had to call the the home warranty company daily to see what was happening for about 3 weeks . The home warranty company was not able to get in touch with this plumber and emailed them MANY times and still no calls. FINALLY, here they are today on August 2nd after having to call repeatedly and they are not willing to do anything about their lack of timeliness and poor customer service. They tell me their phones were down the past two weeks but I have been calling for longer than that with no attempts to make things right. AND now, I have to pay the full amount for this fix because I need it done and they will not fix it unless I pay upfront!! I will never use this company again in the future!! read more

Don't think I ever called a plumber before, or if I did, it has been so long ago. I had called a plumber before Lakeshore Plumbing and couldn't believe how bad the quality of service was and was overcharged on top of that. This plumbing company completely turned that bad perception around. The young man, Jeff, that came, did a thorough job, went out of his way to explain almost every detail to me, took pictures, very pleasant, even went outside in the rain to check the water meter! We had to use these folks because of our home warranty that came with our home purchase. If you don't need to use these folks, DON'T. Each time they were out they damaged our home, as in water flowing from the ceiling because they punched through a line, and the second time the drain not installed correctly. First off let me start with that I am an out of state owner so to find a company that responds and does the job is super important and a breath of fresh air!! I used Lakeshore for a clogged main line & toilet back up. They removed tree roots and cleared the line the same day I called. I used them again recently for a running tub that wouldnt shut off. I called last minute at 4pm in a panic. The owner told me that all of his guys were on jobs but he would fit me in somehow. Within an hour someone was at my house. They replaced the tub faucet and installed shut off's. Great company, great guys!!!! Pricing is reasonable and definitely worth the peace of mind knowing the job WILL GET DONE! read more

We recently had a new fridge installed but needed a water line installed for it. Lakeshore was very pleasant to deal with. They returned our call within 24 hours and were able to schedule us in less than a week which was really awesome! The guys who came our were very polite and helpful, so shout out to Steven and his crew. Price was very reasonable and actually less then I expected. Big thanks and a shout out for Don and William. They were responsive and there to help. We though our septic was backing up. They dug and determined that the problem was not a full septic but a clog requiring a simple router through the clean out out to the septic.
