    This is one of the most visited places in Drumheller. Make time to check it out when you're in…read moretown. The long or short trip will be worth it. It may not compare to the Hoodoos in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah or the Goreme Valley in Cappadocia, Turkey but you will not regret the experience. The Hoodoos are beautiful and are very nice to use as a backdrop for photo ops. The rock formation and landscape alone are the highlight. I am sure the view will be spectacular during sunrise or sunset. This place is a 3 hour drive from Edmonton where my sister lives. We had a great time taking memorable photos and hiking up to the top. What a fantastic view!!! Make sure to wear good quality shoes when you're planning to hike. It is quiet challenging. But the top view is fabulous. It is a 360 view of the valley.

    I'm not sure if I can say I enjoyed my time there only because the weather was not great. It was…read moremuddy and things were slippery. It was the only day to go so I couldn't have experienced it on a better day. We were only able to walk up to the top of the steps and came back to the car. Some kids slipped and fell into the mud. So if you visit on a wet day prepare with a change of clothes. There is parking across that costs $2.50 which isn't terrible at all. The shops I think that are there, I think they open on nice days, were closed. The portable potties are not great but they're there to use!
