I wanted to take a moment and write a review for a small company that deserves more than 5 stars! Rarely in this day and age is there a company so willing to help it's customers and ensure proper use and installation of their products. Gordo's Welding, among many other things, produces high quality, locally fabricated Crab Davits used for crabbing with a boat. Their products are high quality with incredible attention to detail in both welding quality and materials used to make strong, yet simple units. On top of that, Gordon himself made it very clear how much he cares for his customers. I met Gordon when he custom fitted my boat at no additional charge on a Thursday. I drove home and proceeded to install the Davit, only to make a foolish and completely self inflicted mistake which damaged my boat. I was beside myself. I was embarrassed and knew how badly I had messed up. I called Gordon and over several conversations and many pictures exchanged, he helped me come up with a solution. To my surprise, he offered to fit me into the schedule the very next day, and help me fix my mistake! He even fabricated a special part to allow me to complete the installation while at his shop, and I drove away with my boat ready to go crabbing! I could not recommend a better person or company for any welding needs you may have, and especially if you're looking for US made crab davit that will last forever. read more
