I have never written a bad review for anyone or anything before, but given the circumstances of this encounter I feel I have no choice now. I have been a teacher (between Bay, Walton, & Washington Counties) for 16 years, I do community service, I'm active in my church, etc... in other words, I am an educated, professional, Christian woman - certainly not the type of person to ever talk bad about anyone or gossip out of spite or malice. In fact, I have always tried to avoid conflict at all costs, but I am so beyond disgusted & disappointed with the way I was treated by (and my entire experience with) the "rental manager" of Chipola Realty that I felt compelled to say something so that hopefully the same thing won't happen to anyone else. Awful customer service... she talked down to me, she wouldn't answer my questions, & she kept cutting me off when I tried to speak or ask a question. She spoke to me extremely disrespectfully for absolutely no reason at all. I have no idea what her name is, but I honestly have no idea how she got to be in the position that she is in, because she is seriously the most rude & unprofessional person that I think I have ever encountered in any sort of public relations position... definitely not the "face" that I would want to represent my business. Disgraceful.

I can't even begin to put into words how absolutely phenomenal they were! We worked with Kim specifically as our property manager and she was so great. We really liked how their process was set up. If there were any concerns with the property, Kim told us immediately. We ended up moving overseas for 3.5 years and during that time frame, we switched tenants. I can't imagine dealing with all of that while being overseas. We experienced minor tornado damage to the property and Kim was on top of it. She was always open and honest. She kept things fair for both us as the owners, as well as our tenants. We fully trusted Kim and never once had to worry about anything. It was such a huge load off to know we had that! They are poorly responsive about maintaining and fixing anything broken. When I moved out, they charged me to replace all the carpet even though the carpet was over 12 years old. When called on it they basically said too bad. They charged for a deep cleaning even though I had the house cleaned before I moved out. They will repeatedly lie about what they did and why. They wait until people move out of the area and would have an extremely difficult time taking them to small claims court. My AC had to be constantly repaired due to its age. They also did not inspect my rental until weeks after I moved out. Just don't use them.
