This is one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. He has medically gaslighted me, ruined my hands, lied to me on multiple occasions and was racist towards me. I didn't realize that the good reviews are some people he personally knows. He has taken money from me not authorized, saved my card information illegally, treated me horribly post operation; when I called terrified because I lost feeling in my fingers he rudely stated "you're overreacting and questioning my experience give yourself time to heal" even though he repeatedly states there is no downtime to the procedure. I had to go to the ER because he cut off circulation to my fingers and was careless! Please stay far away from this Dr. He is unethical, dishonest, a manipulator and overall only cares about money not his patients. Called Dr. Gabriel Goren today and to my disappointment he has retired treating leg veins he's only doing hand veins. I was devastated since he was the only vein doctor that I trusted. Before seeing Dr. Goren I went through two major procedures in order to remove large varicose veins doing "laser procedures" with two different doctors with ZERO results, I felt scammed both times since the treatments cost a lot . Where do I begin. Dr. Goren is absolutely amazing. THE BEST. A wonderful gentleman. I stopped by his office with my mom for a consultation. I have been referred to Dr. Goren by a friend who has been his patient. The decision was not easy as his office is 130 miles from San Diego city I reside. I checked his website and Yelp reviews and decided to go. Never regretted this decision! I have had the bulging hand vein. I am now 2 months later and could not be happier with the results. The Dr. Should not be giving my personal medical history or my physical description or what happened during the non surgery it violates my privacy and it also violates HIPPA guidelines. 2. He admits to calling me a child. So unprofessional. When is name calling ever okay ? 3. He may have done thousands of surgeries but this was my first time awake during the procedure, so yes I had anxiety. 4. He claims to have a firm nice voice ~not true ~ I was with the nurse asking if she had like curtain or something to cover the procedure. Dr. Goren walked out of his office before anything had started and told me I didn't have cancer so this procedure wasn't necessary and I could continue having bad veins like my grandparents then he told me to stop acting like a child. 5. Erratic behavior ! He lost it when he showed me a large needle and I ask him not to show me ~I didn't want to to see it and that's when he kicked me out. Their are many way he could have handled the surgery first of all by being patient and kind not inpatient and rude. Also, he could have apologized. I was referred to Dr. Goren from my plastic surgeon. I have been struggling with ugly looking spider veins on my legs for years now. About 5 years ago I went to a dermatologist in Beverly Hills that attempted to remove them for me. I say attempted because it was very expensive and my results were very minimal. Dr. Goren is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I came to him to get rid of some large very visible veins on the back of my legs and had great results. I started with a consultation in which he explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. He did not pressure me to do it, simply laid my options out on the table.
