I was greeted by two women, one the store owner, Gergana. She showed me around the shop and then next door the studio and treatment room space. The studio is well laid out and very clean. The shop is well organized and had items that I had been looking for. And it was NOT overwhelmed by scents. I have attended two Reiki Shares there that Gergana led. It was fun to do Reiki in a different way with nice people. My husband, Fred and I both joined the shop's membership and are enjoying getting to know the staff and other practitioners who work out of the studio. Highly recommend you visit.

While driving down 12th Street, the lush green plants in the window caught my attention. The next day I had to come back and check it out. The owner and those working there are so friendly in that small town way that doesn't exist in many places. Well it's on full display here! When I explained that I was trying to replace two orange bromeliads, they offered to order some for me. Bromeliads or any plant I need that is not in the store. When I mentioned that my large aloe is covered in white, scale fungus or mites, they informed me that it is lacking light . I've Googled this a dozen times and that never came up! Shopping here is as much about getting educated on how to care for your plants to as it is about finding a specific plant. The goal is for the plant to thrive long term. While perusing the shop, I noticed some planters filled with three or four indoor houseplants that would be a stunning gift or an arrangement for your own home. Especially the ones that had a pop of color from the African Violets. I may have to go back for one! All the plants were healthy and thriving. There were anthurium with waxy, shiny, red heart shaped leaves; snake plants that are so easy to maintain; lots of pathos that are super easy to grow; an assortment of orchids in multiple colors; and a plethora of succulents and air plants. The shop is small but everything is styled so nicely that they fit in a lot of inventory while still keeping it spacious so customers can easily make their way around. Loved everything about this shop! So happy to find a plant and floral shop in the heights of Hood River.

Traci wants you to look and feel your best. Traci opened the boutique the November before Covid hit so her first 2 years in business have been tough. I'm so happy to have discovered this gem and hope others find it and support her. We need this boutique to be successful so we have a place to shop and find fashionable clothing! Sourced from many lines, there are flowing maxi dresses in subtle patterns; denim dresses in a variety of lengths; jean jackets with a modern design; blouses with beautiful prints; leggings and slim pants; jeans; duster length cardigans; and soft, gorgeous, comfy sweaters. A sweater by Shana Apparel in neutral fall colors with birds captivated me; if only she had my size! Same with a white fuzzy tunic with an Aztec print at the bottom and on the sleeves. I spend a lot of time in Hood River and have recently been making my way to The Dalles. For 20 years, The Dalles has been a direction - meaning I-84 always posts The Dalles to identify the eastern direction of the interstate - but now The Dalles has become a destination in itself for me.
