The minute I walked in my eye caught a burnt orange scarf a mannequin was wearing. Immediately I took the scarf off the mannequin knowing it was actually a lace tablecloth, perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving. For $15, I didn't even have to think about it! So many wonderful items, something for anyone's style and budget. Old leather objects and jackets; vintage phone from the 30s; tea cups & saucers; wooden trunks refinished and could be used for end or coffee tables; vases, serving pieces, estate jewelry, fashion jewelry, art, small pieces of furniture, barware, glassware, and vintage material & clothing. Fell in love with a pair of off-white boots with flowers embroidered up to the knee. They were stunning! If only they fit! A one of a kind statement piece. Hanging on a wall was a macrame owl. Quirky, homemade, vintage - I had to have it! That's what is so fantastic about these type of stores. Hundreds of people probably walked by that owl without a pause and yet it stopped me in my tracks! In addition to standard art like canvas and pictures, I like to adorn my walls with different expressions of unique art. This owl will definitely do that. And for $12, no risk. The owner is clearly passionate about her business, as excited as I was for my "finds!l She was chatting with several customers that obviously stop in often and just as easily made conversation with tourists visiting from out of state. She packaged my items in a bag with orange tissue and a bow, definitely a boutique touch. First time here but I will be back, for sure. When they opened the best kratom was the gold kratom, which had a golden tint to it, thus the name. When I last went in there, I got the gold one as usual and then I noticed it was a different color then I was use to and tried it with a friend and we both were so sick, we were puking. I brought it back and showed the guy one of my old kratom bags that had a little of their original gold from when they first opened and said I think I got the wrong one and the guy said he couldn't really help me. That's when I noticed they had another strain above the gold called "super" and it was 5$ more per ounce. That looked much more like the original gold I bought. I mentioned that and said I had been coming here since you guys opened and mentioned there was no "super" kratom strain in the beginning, but no help. So I was like okay, I don't want to was 40$ of the kratom I bought and I tried it again. Got sick to the point of puking again. Had another friend try it and they got sick too. Honestly I only came here because of the convenience of being able to buy kratom in town. If you love kratom and don't want to pay top dollar for it, just go to www.yokratom.com because that's what all my friends use anyways and plus it's only 60$ for a whole kilo. That's right, 2.2 pounds as opposed to what they charge here. I use to really support Pandora and thought they were awesome for selling kratom, but now they're getting greedy with it, renaming products and upping their already expensive prices on it. I am seriously impressed with how they somehow manage to organize the enormous assortment of product across so many sporting categories. Hinting, fishing, camping, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, swimming, boxing, frisbee, kayaking, running, hiking, skateboarding - yes, it's there! Plus athletic and camping clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Needing a new pair of goggles, I wandered in and knew immediately that without asking for assistance, there was no way I would find them! But no worries, I was greeted instantly and asked if I needed help finding something. The goggles were in the back right corner so it gave me an opp wander the aisles and make a mental note of inventory. I'm in Hood River a lot so often take a ride to The Dalles when I need to run errands.
