Then she canceled on me and sent me to someone else ok no big deal. The lady Ali I believe her name was greeted me wasn't very welcoming but Watever. She proceeds to put on nice soothing music nice right until she gets a phone call and talks the whole time in Spanish. Very rude and not professional. I tell her I'm burning she wasn't even paying attention . She finishes my lashes and instead of giving me the mirror she looks at herself . Really.. so I say all this to say maybe they should teach their staff on being a little more professional. I will not be coming back there . My first and last time .

I'm usually last minute and they always do their best to squeeze me in. They had a promotional price when I first started going which changed after a few months, but it was not a major deal. My lashes are always to my liking, I usually have to ask for more lashes as I like a fuller look but I'm always met with corporation. If I feel like overnight or after a few days too many lashes have fallen off, I'm always told that I can come right in to fix the problem. The shop is quite far from me but I get great quality lashes that it is not a major deal. Overall, I definitely recommend ideal lash.

This was when she did her appointments in her home. It was a bit unorthodox, but I happily obliged because she did somewhat of a good job. But, I also didn't know better. I was still new to lash extensions. As she got more appointments and switched to the closet of a building she is in now, the work got increasingly more sloppy. Applications got sparse and would go in multiple directions. Towards the end of our interactions, fed up with the consistently sloppy work, I told her that I wanted the "volume refill." This refill basically gives you the appearance of a thicker look. I felt her basic refills were no longer consistent to what I was getting when I first started. I was happy to pay for the upgrade too. She did not receive that well. In my experiences with Jessica, she did not appreciate nor want to hear unfavorable feedback - even if properly delivered. When I would tell her I was unhappy with the work, giving her specifics, she would become rude and act as though I was an imposition. Which I find odd as we are the ones having to find the time to get what could have been done right the first time. Eventually, she responded to me, via text, she couldn't "accommodate my feedback." Very unprofessional? Also, in her previous location (it was one of those building that closed after a specific time, so you had to be buzzed or let in) you were expected to wait outside in the front for several minutes. Rain or shine, but since this is Houston, it was often in the blistering heat. She never apologized for having you wait and in fact made it seem as though her coming to the door of HER business was an imposition. I heard she moved yet again, but still can not produce good work. I know many of her clients - all which have left. I produced 4 consistent referrals to her all of which are unhappy with her work to date. I was always on time and tipped her very very well. It was never enough I guess... My suggestion to you is to go to Lashes by Ann on Montrose. Same price and actual consistently, impeccable and professional work. The ratings will speak for the establishment. They're great!

What wanted me to try them wasn't just the deal but the use of UV glue that it would provide longer lasting lashes. I was having issues with retaining my lashes as they've probably been weakened over time and tried all ways to strengthen and retain. Even took a break from refilling. I also wore goggles in the shower since I love hot showers, thinking the glue was melting. It felt like I was really wasting money but then i saw the ad for Lotus. With the glue Lotus uses with UV technology, I didn't have to do all that or worry. So I gave them a try. The lashes really did retain for 3-4 weeks by 80%. I spent a week in Cancun in the sun, pool, beach and they retained 100% the whole week. I've had services from both Linda and Jennie. They are so nice and receptive to feedback. Any issues I had, they were able to accommodate. The studio is in a building with other businesses. When I first booked, they sent me photos of the building and where to enter to locate the studio. Very nice of them to ensure I got there! They would also offer if I wanted to use a blanket during the session but so far, the temp has been comfortable for me. The session can be 1 to 1.5 hrs. I actually bring my headphones and listen to an audiobook while they apply the lashes. I love the fact I don't need to wait 24hrs to shower. They lashes do last. Making an appointment and checking availability on their website is so easy. Deposit is required. I highly recommend Lotus lashes. The retention is so worth it and i feel like I get the value out of my money and time. I was losing my hope of getting lash extensions but Lotus brought it back.
