Lilian was friendly and clearly cared about doing a great job, listening to how I was wanting the hair to be cut. Going from longer hair to a shoulder length cut along with a shampoo and dry all took just under an hour. I am definitely interested in coming back! They're located on the second floor of a plaza with lots of parking, although it can be busy.

By far the worst salon experience I've had in Houston. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. To make matters worse, my stylist failed to properly clean the chemicals from my neck and the side of my face after the service. I chose this salon because of its reputation and expected a higher level of professionalism, but instead I was met with hidden fees, unexpected add-ons, and a dismissive attitude. When I was given the bill I was quite shocked as it was significantly higher than the price listed on my confirmation booking. When I questioned the charges, the front desk associate told me that I "clearly didn't read" the disclosure agreement and anyone would have seen that the price was a "suggested" starting price, which felt both disrespectful and unhelpful. This salon lacks price transparency and appears to prioritize upselling over customer care. Based on my experience, they do not value their clients or provide the level of service their reputation suggests. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional and overall good experience. read more

Destiny is the best hair stylist I've ever had. When I came to her my hair was dry and damaged and she legitimately saved my curls. I've been with her for about 5 years now, and she is literally one of my favorite people ever. She is so kind, so funny, so accommodating. She always makes sure her clients have the full luxury experience. And on top of it all she is extremely knowledgable. She is incredible at coloring people's hair, and tailoring the treatments to each individual's type of hair. I've had stylists who don't know what products are out there, the latest trends in hair, and don't know what to recommend. Destiny is not like that. I'll text her any day and ask: "Destiny I want my hair to look like this what do I do?" And she immediately sends me three, four products. I was due for a haircut and wanted to lighten my hair for summer. I looked at quite a few reviews before I made my choice of salon. I called Bella Rinova at 9:30AM and was able to book an appointment for 10:30am! AWESOME! My appt. was with Melissa, I really can not say enough great things about her. Her consultation was great and really focused on me and my very very thick long hair. Since my hair is so dark I really cant just lighten and go, I would have to wait about 3 weeks before I can gradually lighten because my hair was really dry and fried from the flat iron i use so much. I have booked my appt with Melissa again and feel really confident in her work. I did however give her a workout blow drying my hair (sorry Melissa). Overall, Great Place, Great Atmosphere and Fantastic Stylist! You should really give this place and Melissa a try! read more

I visited Bella Rinova first time about 4 weeks ago and had Raquel Calhoun as my stylist. She is awesome!! Had previously been to her when located at another salon and was happy to Know where she was. I have fine thin hair which is a challenge. She suggested highlight color in front around framing my face and growing into a long pixie type shag. I was very pleased and now have been back for a second time and love the color even more. She also taught new best way to style my hair with out damage and products to use. The products are fabulous as do not weight my hair down And after less than 8 weeks have seen remarkable difference in condition of my hair. Expensive but certainly got what I paid for. Even when we retired to literally 2+ hrs away, both my husband and i continue to return to Houston for her to work magic on our hair. Way back when, i was a natural brunette longing to be a blonde, and with Raquels expertise, i transitioned from subtle highlights to a gorgeous blonde which was my dream and complements my personality 1000%. My wife came to Bella Rinova for a balayage and trim before her best friend's wedding. She clearly showed the stylist a caramel color she wanted and was promised that result. Instead, her hair was left a patchy reddish tone, her gray roots weren't even touched, and her split ends remained after a so-called trim. She was quoted $460 but charged $542, and they added a $58 tip on top without clear approval. She reached out immediately, sent photos, and was told a refund would be issued--but they later refused and stopped responding. This was overpriced, poorly done work, and handled unprofessionally. Completely unacceptable. We'll never return and absolutely don't recommend this place to anyone read more
