I took a chance with Lashes by Victoria after reading the reviews. I called to make an appointment around 1pm on a Friday as I saw there was a 2:30pm with Nina available. The process to schedule the appt over the phone took longer than I expected and someone snagged up the 2:30pm. I had to settle for the 5:30pm, which I guess wasn't too bad. I was hesitant to try Nina out because it was just her second day here and there were no reviews for me to refer to. I took the chance and it ended up working out. I got there on time, completed the paper work and Nina took me in to get prepped. She showed me a few pics as reference and I showed her what I wanted and the lengths [10,12,13 and 14]. We wrapped up at 7pm and my lashes looked good. My eyes weren't red and none of the lashes were stuck together. I do wish she alternated the lengths a little bit more like I requested but I'll make sure that happens upon my refill. Few things to note: there's plenty of parking, the shop is very clean and you get $10 if you leave a review on Yelp with a picture and another $10 if you pre-book your refill appt 14 days after your initial appt. read more

Also said that I wear glasses (including on the paperwork). My lashes ended up way too long and no where near natural looking. That said, I cancelled my next appointment within the designated before time. I never received my $25 deposit back even though the man on the phone said I would receive it within 7 business days. It's been way more than that. They are just holding on to it, which now means I would never go back to actually try to get what I wanted in the first place. Update! I've been going for almost a year now and just wanted to update and let everyone know I still LOVE this place and Taylor. The staff is so sweet and care about their clients. Taylor works fast and has kept my lashes healthy. The prices still can't be beat for the service they give. The studio is always clean and bright and my appointment has only been delayed maybe twice and they've been for the last appointment of the day (which makes sense with clients being a little late that it would catch up). Their 6 business hour cancellation policy is more than lenient compared to any salons/spa I've seen and they only require a flat $25 deposit to book. The main reason I rated this place low is because I did come in with a picture from work they did previously and they completely missed the mark. Her name is Demi. She talk to me about the look I wanted as well as gave me advice based on my eye shape. The station I was in was clean and comfortable. She immediately got started and really paid attention to the detail of each lash and was incredibly gentle. After she was done she took the time to talk to me about caring for my lashes and answered any questions I had. I love the way they clean after they are done with every person, they use the lysol wipe to wipe the whole entire bed and table. OK so normally I don't do this, But I felt like I had to leave a review because I love my lashes. I have to start off by saying that Tommy the receptionist text me earlier that day to see if I can come in early because they had more available appointments. Even though I wasn't able to make it in earlier I did appreciate that he reached out to help better accommodate me. Upon my arrival Tommy offered me something to drink I was then given paperwork to fill out since it would be my first time getting lashes done there. It was very nice and clean inside there was a variety of drinks offered as well as snacks the restroom was also very clean. After I was done with my paperwork my lash tech Hannah started her consultation. She was very very Thorough and was able to show me pictures of her work so she could make sure that I was able to visually see what I would be getting. I appreciated that. When Hannah started on my lashes she turned on A back massage and also gave me a blanket. I had never had a lash experience like this before. When she was finished with my lashes they looked amazing. She then told me the do's and don'ts. I got my lashes done on Saturday, May 25 and it is now Wednesday, May 29 and I have literally only had two lashes fall out since then. My lash technician is Taylor and she does an excellent job! I've tried classic and hybrid, and they stay on for quite a long time. I usually notice my lashes retaining around 70% on the third week. The studio is also very clean and they usually play relaxing music (I've fallen asleep every time I've had my bi-triweekly refills lol). I asked why the prices reflect a different price on their website vs. what I end up paying and the gentleman stated those are prices from 2017...so then why haven't you updated it??? I tried to explain customer service and why I shouldn't have to pay a different price than what is listed online but it was useless. I would have been better off talking to a wall! He tried to type up the new prices while I waited but that still wouldn't justify the previous 3 payments and being overcharged.
