After we made our initial deposit via an easy to use website, Bryce reached out to schedule our painting job and confirm colors. I picked out our colors on line on Sherwin Williams (or I could have gone in the store) and then emailed them to Bryce. So easy!!! Chris and Bryce showed up on Monday morning, right on time, confirmed everything that I had in the quote with Brock and got straight to work. Chris was exemplary at his job and he was very polite and great to work with. He made sure everything was covered and quickly cleaned up any runs, drips and errors. The job was scheduled to take two days, but Chris was so efficient that he had everything knocked out before lunch on day two. Edwin came highly recommended to me. He was very nice and his estimate was very fair. However, the…read morequality of the job done was extremely poor. Edwin was supposed to complete the job on a Wednesday. He asked if he could reschedule, which was fine with me, and we agreed on that Saturday. Saturday came and went with no communication, even though I texted him. On Sunday, he apologized and rescheduled me for the following Wednesday. I am flexible and I was okay with the changes. He showed up around 9:30am with another worker. The job included priming and painting two small areas on the kitchen ceiling, caulking and filling about 10 cracks in the stucco of the exterior of my home, and painting the front side of two exterior doors. The job took nine hours on Saturday and an additional 4 hours on Sunday. There were multiple issues with the job done by Edwin's workers (not him). The main issue is that they didn't properly prep the home for work. When they "finished," there was paint splatter all over my kitchen stove, my toaster oven, the floors, and caulk on my carpet. The tape they used also tore off the adhesive of the weather stripping on my front door. After completion, they had to re-sand and fill scrapes on the doors, which were supposed to be done in the first place. There were also paint drips thay needed to be sanded and repainted. There was caulk over my pavers that I was told wasn't caulk before it was finally cleaned properly. There was also a language barrier so I had to text Edwin the issues and he had to call the workers to explain. I was told to "be patient." While I can't speak for the quality of work Edwin himself does (because he didn't personally do the work), I was disappointed overall. When I expressed such, Edwin told me he wished me the best of luck in whatever company I use next and sent me the total bill (which is what was agreed upon). After I paid, he asked what he could have done better and asked me not to leave a negative review. My review isn't negative, it's honest.

Then suddenly, One day before the job, he asked 50% of the amount as advance payment. I paid him about 20% in advance without having met/spoke with him and agreed that remaining 80% would be made after the job is complete. All this while he insisted that he has 10 years of experience and is very good with this work. Then come Friday, he didnot show up.. On multiple followups he mentioned that he might not be able to come on Friday. I asked if he can come on Saturday. He said he will come first thing in the morning around 9-10 am. He finally came at about 2 pm and started working on kitchen backsplash. He then said i need to wind up early around 4.30 PM and went back with only few of the tiles installed yet. Here as well, he installed several tiles in the wrong direction. Then he said he will come early Monday morning. However on Monday, he didnot come and when i followed up with him on his eta around 11 am he said his car has broke down and he will come in afternoon. But he never showed up. He then said he will come Tuesday morning, which he finally came around noon. He then stick one line of tiles (worked very slowly) and around 5 PM said i need to go to Home depot as my glue is out. He then went out. And then he texts me from oustide saying I need remaining payment to buy materials. (The material cost here was already covered and way less than the initial 20% deposit). I replied that I will make the payment once you can come and finish it. But he never came back and behaved very rudely over chat demanding money in advance for work which he was not willing to complete. Many of the tiles he put have cracks, And he put the tiles in wayward wrong alignment all while saying that he has 10 years job experience. He ran away from incomplete job and texts me after going out of home and took 80% of the money completing only 25% of the job. This guy "Larry" is an aboslute cheat and doesnot know his work properly. I have never experienced such a horrendous customer service. Beware doing business with this guy LARRY!! (attached are snapshots of pending work which he left in middle and never come back, contrarily, demanding full payment)

So he isn't after the money, just wants to be sure you are getting services you want and need, and that you'll be happy with the result.
