I went to her once because of a review I saw on the Nextdoor app. She did a great job on that ladies hair but not mine. Then, she doesn't offer Hydration/Steam treatments. It's 2023. She needs to look up hydration treatments while doing hair.

DO NOT BOOK WITH Jay Hill (instagram @ expensivevibehaircollection)…read more How my hair came out. As you can see in the pictures the closure is not laid down & the lace is visible. She didn't pluck the hairline to make it look natural. I get without leave out you can't put it in a ponytail but if wind blows my hair, you can see the thick knotted thread, and the untinted lifted edges of the lace that she left. She didn't even place the closure in the middle of my head. So now when I want to reuse the closure and place it in the correct position, I will have to make a new part. She left a lot of long pieces of thread hanging that was long as the weave. Wanted baby hairs and didn't get any. She is NOT natural hair friendly and doesn't care about preserving the health of your hair. The pictures show the swelling around my edges it was extremely tight. I'm not about to have my edges ripped out so I had to take this sew-in out which was a waste of money. Before the appointment I just took some braids out, so my hair was tangled. She literally started from my nappy roots and pulled the comb through to the ends. It was extremely painful, and chunks of my hair was coming out. Yes, I told her it hurt, but she kept doing it. I thought it would make more sense to wet my hair then detangle with the shampoo in it. As I continue to deal with her, I realized how unprofessional she is. Before booking, I asked if she could do a glueless closure sew in with no glue or adhesive at all and she promised me she could. After booking and paying a deposit on the Styleseat she told me to cancel the booking and to send her a 50$ deposit. I felt blindsided and suspicious because her policy didn't say anything about a deposit, and I had already paid a deposit through the website on her IG page. That just seems ghetto to me to have to do all that as a client it should just be easy to book and make one deposit. And no I never received the initial deposit back. Not only was she 10 minutes late and didn't offer and apology or anything to make up for my time being wasted, but for long periods of time she wasn't even touching my head and when I looked back, she was on her phone. I don't mind periodic stops to use your phone but stopping multiple times for long time proves you don't care about wasting my time. Even though she stresses no additional guest in her policy she had several people in and out her room. 2 hairstyles sat in the small room with us for over 30 mins gossiping and arguing with each other which made the environment awkward and not peaceful. I tried to resolve these issues with her, but she kept making it seem like it was my fault that I was unsatisfied with my hair telling me to look at tik tok videos on how it's done. My hair was done Friday When she finally agreed to fix my hair, she could only do it on that Tuesday. I thought it was ridicules to have to wait 4 days for the issues to be resolved after I already paid her, but I agreed. Tuesday came along she didn't reach out or nothing even though she told me she would let me know what time to come in. When I texted, her she made up some excuse about her car as to why she couldn't fix my hair. If she was professional, she would've reached out before the time of the appointment and tried to find a sooner solution. After constantly getting the run around from her I requested a refund from cash app, she declined it and she told me not to contact her anymore.

This spa offers services for henna, eye brow threading, Brazilian waxing, sugaring (less painful so I hear) and other services. Customer service is great. I walked in and signed in. Sabina groomed my eyebrows. I explained the look I was going for and she did exactly what I described. This is a big plus because eyebrows shape your face. She cleaned my face and then handed me a mirror. There was no wait for service which probably because I got there at a non peak time not before opening or closing. She also showed me prices for other services which were reasonable. They are located next to a wing place on the left the shop and dunking doughnuts on the right. I really enjoyed the service I received and it's a plus that there stores nearby as well.

The lady suggested that I use their sugar wax and so I did and I'm not sure if it was the wax or her method, but she was waxing the same area multiple times causing irritation. In addition to that my entire vagina began to rash up about 15 to 20 minutes after I got the wax and I've NEVER experienced that. I've been getting waxed for two years now and I have NEVER EVER broken out from getting a wax up until now. My entire vagina was red and inflamed, and I am now starting to see the scars from it, that's just how bad it was. I don't know if they've done cross contamination or if I caught anything so I immediately went to my doctor and now I'm just waiting on results, prayerfully I didn't get exposed to anything, but I would never go here again and I do not recommend them AT ALL. I WOULD UPLOAD PHOTOS, BUT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT, BUT PLEASE BE AWARE AND BE CAREFUL GOING THERE.

She kept saying it ok, it's ok and began YELLING in her language saying my mom asked for the nail to be shorter so that's why she did it. Meanwhile there is blood all over her toes and under the toe. Another lady had to come and clean the blood from the toe. I had to tell her to apologize and discount the service because they did not offer anything. I have never been treated so poorly! She said a quick "sorry" and rolled her eyes. Since she never really apologized, I insisted that she give a sincere apology. Extremely disappointed in the service.

I will never return here…read more I came in yesterday 09/20/25 for a pedicure and my eyebrows to be waxed. Let's start with sanitation: the foot scrub, file, etc were not freshly sterilized and had evidence of being used prior to me. The lady who did my feet didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted until almost done, so I told her regular but I came in wanting a deluxe. The polish I chose was low and instead of her saying that I see her attempting to mix a color I didn't want (too bright) with the color I wanted and acetone to attempt to make it stretch. I proceeded to tell her I'll choose another color option instead. The service was rushed, my feet feel the exact same way they did prior to me coming in... when I asked her to revisit my feet and the condition that they were in she gave me a face..... the only difference from me coming in and leaving was my toes were polished, that's it, that's all. I sat and waited for my feet to dry and headed to the counter, I was going to inquire about my eyebrows but again... I was being rushed so I left without that service. I will NEVER EVER return here. If I am paying for a service, that's exactly what I want. There's no need to rush my service for any reason. I don't care if you had a scheduled client prior to me coming in, next time say you'll perform the services asked for if you're not going to complete them as required. They stand there watching if you'd put a tip but why would I tip for a service that seems like it never got done.

I'll never go here again and highly suggest that whoever's reading this takes their business and hard learned money elsewhere. I don't get my nails done often but when I do I always go here and I usually have an experience that I can forget about the next day; nothing life changing but also nothing dramatic or upsetting. Today changed that. The woman who did my nails was very rude, judgmental, awful at customer service, and seemed uninterested in making the experience remotely comfortable for me. She just seemed irritated for no reason right off the bat. She spoke to me so disrespectfully and accused me of messing up my nails. Mind you this was while she was in a stage where the flaw was easily correctable and she said "you messed your nail up" with a attitude as if I'd purposely ruined my nails during the transition from the pedicure chair to the manicure bench. I don't care WHO messed up the nail, at the end of the day it's her job to fix it as I am a paying customer regardless. I responded with a shrug "I don't know." And she snaps at me "No I'm telling you that YOU messed it up". Just incredibly rude and nasty and unprovoked. I am a very calm and unconfrontational person. I never expressed an ounce of discontent at the flaw because I KNEW it could be fixed. She should not have been so upset over such a small thing. I was genuinely baffled at her attitude towards me. Later on she proceeds to look at me and go "You don't get your nails done very often do you?...I can tell". Disrespectful. I got a blue cats eye and she never even asked me what shade of blue I wanted, just went in with whatever shade of blue she picked out before I could even stop her. And the nails came out very crooked. See attached...ridiculous. Overall my experience with most the workers here in the past was neutral to positive. She was clearly the problem. If you go here, don't let the black woman near your nails unless you're okay being talked to crazy or you're getting a style too basic for her to mess up. (Also this is not about race, I'm simply describing the one feature of hers that distinguishes her from the other staff members. I am also a black woman. I wanted to like/ support her so bad at first as it was my first time seeing a black woman working in an Asian owned nail salon. So once again, this review is not targeted)

She has always made me feel comfortable from the start. She works quickly and efficiently and ensures to answer any questions you might have about any procedure. You cannot trust just anyone to do your sugaring or waxing, especially in sensitive areas, but I have never been disappointed here. I book everything online and if you need to reschedule, calling in is a breeze. The other staff I have interacted with have always been pleasant and accommodating. You can also get package deals for your sugaring or waxing to save money and for convenience. I did this in the past and recommend it if you can afford it upfront. I would not go anywhere else for my sugaring or waxing needs. I highly recommend this shop if you need any hair removal done or any other services they offer. You will definitely get quality service that is worth every dollar.

Sugar Me Waxing Studio 4.7 Stars…read more193 Google reviews  Waxing hair removal service in Peachtree Corners, Georgia Located in: Village at Peachtree Corners Address: 5270 Peachtree Pkwy # 114B, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 Phone: (470) 545-3416 Products and Services: sugarmwax.com **Alert** Use this company with extreme caution. My daughter had a "back wax" for the first time at this facility. In preparation for this service, I Googled the rating, which returned to 4.7 Stars. We called the company to find out what to expect since this was her first time. Also, she had an event to attend and wanted to ensure there were no issues with her back after the service. The company advised us to come a few days earlier in case of minor irritation (considering eyebrow and lip waxing, you might get a minor irritation). Also, the esthetician recommended that my daughter get a "Sugar wax" service. We arrived five days before the event and had the service done. The esthetician had my daughter sign a waiver and advised her to use Neosporin or Hydrocortisone in case of minor irritation. My daughter said that the esthetician used her gloved hands as she repeatedly put the product on her back, but she didn't change the gloves between applications. My daughter thought to herself that she hoped the esthetician would change the product for each new client. Immediately after the service, walking out the door, I checked her back and saw white pimples populating on her back. My daughter didn't go back into the facility to make them aware because she had already addressed the possibility of some irritation. My daughter used hydrocortisone to help with the rash; now it's red. After the event, the rash developed fully on her entire back. The earliest we could get an appointment with a dermatologist was that Wednesday. During the visit, the dermatologist said this rash was caused by a contaminated product caused by double-dipping. She prescribed a cream to be used daily for at least two weeks, possibly three. We are still working on the rash, which has been present for seventeen days. Yesterday, we showed my daughter's back and spoke to the company about the problem. We requested a refund for the cost of the service and dermatologist visit. The problem was not a minor irritation but a massive reaction to contaminated products caused by staff negligence, which caused a full-blown rash. We asked to speak to the owner, which the esthetician declined. She responded that she would give the information to the owner and get back to us tomorrow. Today, after two follow-up calls from me, they finally responded: "Your daughter signed the waiver, which clearly states that we are not responsible for anything; therefore, they will not give a refund." In all honesty, based on yesterday's conversation with the esthetician, we didn't expect them to show good ethics or integrity. If I saw a review like this and the pictures as proof, I would say, "Thank you very much!" And move on to another company. We can only make decisions in today's world through the "Reviews." So even if you have a 5-star rating along with these business practices, I would not take the chance because you or your loved one suffers; the company moves on with business as usual. They have to be held accountable! So, we will be filing this information to The State Board of Georgia because this is a health issue that requires investigating or, at the very least, recording. No STAR ratings. We are making sure you get the information so that you can make the right decision.
