He was easy to talk with and plan with leading up to the wedding, and on the day of the wedding he was great! Cordero absolutely ROCKED! Cordero was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't have been happier with his work at our 11/28 wedding. What I didn't realize before the wedding was that the DJ is integral to keeping the flow of the wedding going and Cordero did an amazing job, ensuring the we kept to schedule & keeping everyone up and dancing. Rob Morales DJ'd at daughter's wedding reception on 6/25/16. He was well-prepared, professional, and played great music. From the beginning of dinner to the last song, he kept the party going and even used some unique and creative ways to get people on the dance floor. We received many compliments on our DJ from our guests too. And he's a really nice guy! We also had Got You Covered contract a mariachi band for the cocktail hour. I prefer not to be negative, but this is more of an effort to warn people and let them know NOT to pick Got You Covered! Maybe they've been great in the past, but they must be going downhill because we had a terrible experience and ended up picking ANOTHER DJ just 3 weeks before our wedding! First, Sloane was great to get us to sign and then we never heard from her again, despite trying to reach out and copying her on several issues. I got passed to a Coordinator, Jaime, who I'll get to later. The main issue was when our initial DJ that we selected quit and left the company. It took Jaime the Coordinator a couple weeks to set us up with another DJ, DJ Rob, which was literally about 5 weeks before our wedding. We stayed positive and said okay, let's work together and make it happen. We get it, people leave their jobs. DJ Rob's lack of follow up and poor communication was extremely disappointing. He informed us that he was busy with two jobs being a coach and a teacher, which we understood... so we let him pick the time to set up a call, and he missed the first one. Then we let him pick a time for a second call, again that worked best around his schedule, and he missed the second call, too! No apologies or empathy, just reiterating that he was busy. Really? And mind you, I had sent Jamie our wedding songs and asked for feedback from DJ Rob weeks ago, which she hadn't done and Rob and no idea of this. He just left me a voice mail assuring me it'll be great but yet couldn't make any time to talk with us. Really? Um, okay. How could everything be okay if 1) you don't know who we are and 2) you don't take time to look at our music styles or chat with us about the flow and 3) you don't even show up at the calls at the times that YOU scheduled.... It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. This was 4 weeks before our wedding now. So, I called Jaime the Coordinator on Monday 10/9 and was very candid with her, telling her we tried to connect with DJ Rob multiple times and we know he is busy... but the clock is ticking and we just want to know our DJ is with us and will show up at our wedding. I told her we were losing faith because it seemed like DJ Rob didn't care much and we constantly had to try and reach out to him. No management ever followed up with us--- I (the Bride) was the one constantly trying to get them to realize our wedding was less than a month away and our DJ was basically MIA. It was on Wednesday, 3 days after I spoke to Jaime, that ** I ** followed up with HER and she said "Oh, I'm sorry we've been busy I haven't reached out to him yet." REALLY? Oh, my gosh..... seriously.... we are paying you and you guys are doing absolutely NOTHING, not even taking the time or initiative or responsibility to 1) follow up with your own staff and 2) follow up with a Bride haha. All you did was basically leave us hanging, while I'm trying to track you guys down, oh but WE are paying YOU. It was absolutely TERRIBLE. Literally NO SENSE OF URGENCY OR PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! Save your $$$$! So, we lost our deposit COMPLETELY and Eric the OWNER actually had the nerve to charge us an EXTRA $250 for cancellation, despite the issues!!! We had been nothing but patient up until 3.5 weeks before the wedding when we realized our DJ Rob obviously didn't care, and neither did Jamie or Sloane who disappeared and never once reached out to try and resolve the issues. Eric had no empathy or understanding and never apologized and told my fiancé, "Well we've been doing this for 40 years" --- really... okay.... So what? That doesn't mean you haven't completely dropped the ball with our wedding experience and planning (obviously). I have NO IDEA how this company is what it is because it was been terrible and I truly wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. We will make sure that they are removed from preferred vendors with our Venue and our Wedding Planners, they are super disappointed as well. Happy Planning and do NOT go with Got You Covered. Hire Them! It will be the best decision you make for a wedding. I was complimented on the music so many times at ours. Eric, our DJ, went above and beyond the standard role of a typical "DJ" and assured the procession, entrance, speeches, etc. went seamlessly. The standard of professionalism was unsurpassed. Eric is also so much fun and personable, someone you want there. Everyone was dancing all night.....everyone. Eric provided wireless microphones for the ceremony and reception. We also rented lighting from his company. It was much less expensive than hiring any other lightcompanies and looked amazing (fuchsia), they offer all colors. I have a friend who has since booked them for her wedding. "Got You Covered" is any event planners dream. Hire them, and if he is available, get Eric! read more

We were blown away by the services! From the minute we did our initial meeting, to the preparation with the team and the actual wedding reception, it by far exceeded our expectations. Our DJ, Rob Rubino, nailed it! All of our guests had rave reviews for his ability to keep the dance floor engaging and fun. We chose Got You Covered and are so pleased we did! We had DJ Larry Mac and he is simply amazing. He is so good at reading the crowd and he does a lot of pre-wedding day work to ensure the very best experience for everyone. That's exactly what we got, the best! Larry handled both the reception and all the audio for the ceremony, and the entire event flowed perfectly under his supervision. The photo booth also turned our wedding into more of a sharing experience for our guests. Everyone had a blast getting their pictures taken and they also made us a photo book to take home that captured so much of the reception that we would otherwise have missed. Rachel was the most amazing DJ I could have asked for. She spent so much time talking with me on the phone, since I planned an out of state wedding. She truly led the wedding night. Got You Covered was our one stop shop for our wedding. They provided all the services and music that we were looking for on our special day. We reserved the string trio for our ceremony, mariachis for the cocktail hour, and Oscar as our DJ for the dinner and reception. We began our experience with Eric, who answered all of our questions and was extremely professional. He had everything organized into worksheets and folders, which really helped. We met with Oscar a few months later and worked with him to discuss our preferences and work out a playlist. Oscar assured us that he would be working hard to coordinate our special day, ensure everyone was in their places, and that the guests had a great time. It was hard to get a hold of Oscar at times leading up to the wedding, but Oscar definitely lived up to his promises. He was great at checking in with us to make sure things were going as we wanted and everything went very smoothly. We worked with the string trio to form our ceremony playlist and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our guests loved the mariachis too. Oscar also provided up-lighting and a projector and screen for our photo slideshow during dinner. These items were reasonably priced compared to what our venue was offering and they added a wonderful touch to our ballroom. read more

We originally signed up with Eric @ Got You Covered because I was part of wedding him and his team DJed and I didn't want anyone else being responsible for our music but him and his team! Our DJs for the night were Eric (Owner) and Steve. You know you have a good DJ team when your wedding Coordinator and all other vendors tell you they're the best in the Valley. You can tell he's been in the industry for a long time. Their communication from our initial meeting to wedding day was spot on and never was music a stress for me during our planning. Eric and his team really take pride in our work. The music selection he played was exactly what we wanted and had asked for. Also, Eric is great at herding the group and getting the party started through his MC skills. Our guest commented on the music selections saying it was such a great play lists for all age groups. Oscar was our DJ for our wedding. He was absolutely perfect. When he met with my husband and I before our wedding, he totally understood us. All that we really wanted was for our party to be a huge party. Oscar made that happen! At our meeting, Oscar suggested ideas that completely fit us as a couple. My husband and I left that meeting smiling from ear to ear. We knew that with Oscar, our party was going to be perfect! Our dance floor was always packed. He came up with amazing ideas and he was great about sticking to our "do not play" list. Everyone raved about Oscar. He made our wedding so much fun. At our initial meeting, he asked me about the color of my bridesmaid dresses. He brought his own lights to set up all over the reception hall that matched the girls' dresses; the lights truly made the place look special.
