They are my go to dispensary and have always had a positive weed related experience there. It has a really cool vibe inside with good music where you can linger and take your time looking without getting the push out. The well informed bud-tenders are friendly and knowledgeable and have not been disappointed with any of their recommendations. Good service! I was able to view what they had on their website and knew what I was looking for so I was in and out in 10 minutes. Staff was friendly enough and they had a good selection. The service is good for the most part and the employees are nice. The inventory of flower is extremely limited and once they sell out of a certain strain, it could be weeks or months before they get it back in stock, so they not consistent in keeping what you may like in stock. I had to start going to other dispensaries in Harlem to get what I like. Also, they dont have many options for 28g buyers most of the time they dont have ounces and when they do they are expensive ($200+), the inventory of flower is mainly based around expensive ($50-65) 3.5gs. The prices in general are about the same as other dispensaries in Harlem and they have a loyalty reward points system that gives discounts after you purchase a certain amount. But no disrespect, but Whoever is managing the store has got to step their game up with the inventory of flower, yall losing loyal customers like me due to lack of inventory. You gotta stay consistent or people will just go somewhere else, because people gone get they weed, whether from yall or from the streets or from another dispensary. Bring back $160 Untitled ounces and keep more $30 and under 3.5gs on deck as well. When not crowded they give good service, though they are often out of what I want. As my neighborhood shop, I try to patronize them, but sometimes they make it hard. I have gone near closing time enough times that I should know better but I'm still mystified why when I get there 10 minutes before closing (10:00PM) the doors are locked. If you need to leave by 10, you have to close earlier, not inconvenience your repeat (and new?) customers who made an effort to get there before you closed, only to find you don't value my business enough to stay open for the entirety of your posted business hours. On the flip side, it did give me a reason to try out a delivery service that brings the product to me - even when I ordered at closing time. Guess who's getting my next order?!?! read more

I live about 10 minutes walking distance from Gotham Buds. The first time I visited about a year ago, I was impressed when I entered the store and saw all the products they had on display. Unfortunately, most if not all of the products were not actually in stock, including many cartridges from different brands but none of the corresponding hardware. Like... what? Second visit was about a month ago. I rode my e-scooter to the store and attempted to enter the store with my e-scooter, walking it in.. Before I could even make it into the front vestibule of the store--not even the store itself--just the vestibule area with a lot of free open space, I was turned away because of my e-scooter. I said can I just leave it here inthe vestibule while I ran in and bought product. They were rude and unwelcoming. Not even "just this one time" from them. I frequent many other dispensaries in the city--all of them are welcoming and allow me to walk my e-scooter in -- this place was just rude and, honestly, such a huge disappointment. Found this place a few months ago. It's been one of my go to for quality THC products. There are few places uptown that sells top of the line no chemicals added weed. Once you walk in you have to have your ID scanned such is the norm with all dispensaries. Once inside the room large with black walls. There are showcases and kiosk around the room that displays the products they sell. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They also seem to be from the neighborhood which is a bonus. It's great to either come with an idea of what you like or ask for recommendations. The prices are fair but if you compare it to what you can buy from the street or smoke shop it can be high. The only negative about this place is that they are constantly out of stock of product for weeks at a time. read more

Cool shop and I'm glad they exist, but they need to work on two things: 1. Cashiers: Please don't spend so much time chit-chatting with customers if the store is busy. Overall the staff here is pretty cool and it's great to be friendly with the customers and answer their questions, but you also have to have some awareness that other people are waiting to order. If you're working checkout, and you look up to see 15 people lined up all the back to the door, you really need to do your best to keep those conversations brief and keep things moving. It's really frustrating to be waiting on line and seeing everyone in front of you camped out for LONG minutes at the counter. Be aware that people are waiting, please. 2. Do a better job at keeping products in stock. There have been many times I've come here to get something only to find out they no longer have it. Ive run into this one lady (name starts with a D) before who was super rude the first time and I decided not to anything because everybody has bad days. Ignored me and let several people who came in after me go before me. But this is the second time she's been less than professional, didn't even say hello or look up at me. I had a great experience here last night. The store is spacious, they have a wide selection of everything from pre rolleds to infused ingredients for cooking, and the products are well displayed. It wasn't crowded so I was assisted quickly and in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. Denny (I believe her name was) helped me and she was friendly and really knowledgeable about their products. She also showed me this helpful chart when I had questions about products for more medicinal/therapeutic use. Plus they have pre-rolled blunts which I cannot find in any dispensary I've tried in Jersey. I have a high tolerance and quality was great too, especially for the price. read more
