Unfortunately, in the last two years he's been utilizing a male nurse/doctor's assistant who displayed extremely off putting behavior to me and who was sexually inappropriate with a young female friend I referred to the practice. I reached out several times to the office to report this issue and ensure this assistant would no longer be left alone with female patients and I received no meaningful follow up. I was willing to overlook the extremely long wait times at this practice (over an hour every time I came for an appointment) because I had a good experience with the doctor, but after the sexual harassment that was ignored I won't be going back here. Extremely disappointing and negligent behavior.

I like going here because I feel confident in the diagnosis, Dr. Sorra is thorough, knowledgeable, experienced. The office is close to public transportation, the staff is calm and the office is whimsical and professional. I have been able to get appointments promptly and the wait time has always been reasonable. The staff is professional, articulate and helpful. Also, the doctor has capability to take your lab sample on site!!! Yes, the doctor will take your sample, and will send it in for you! Not only is it time saving, I liked that I was not handled by multiple people - just one doctor. This doctor was recommended to me by a local physician, a family member has seen him too and found him to be very thorough and personable. I highly recommend this doctor!

I am SOOOO glad I made this connection. We have been working together for more than a year. And I mean it: "working together". I don't feel alone. I feel heard and respected. Firstly, I went in and was actually listened to rather than having the Dr wait for me to stop talking. He never interrupted me and let me interrupt him, when I did so accidentally. I regularly feel Dr's don't listen to me. Sure, their training is in medicine and they are the experts, but I am certainly the expert at what I am experiencing. If I feel regularly shut down as a man, I can only imagine how women are made to feel with most doctors. So this first off was an excellent sign. Secondly, he was friendly, upbeat and polite. That's not necessary but a nice touch. On to the checkup. He was methodical. He told me exactly what he was doing. When I told him I thought my BP was a little high on his machine, rather than ignoring me he did a second check to ensure it was correct. He was knowledgeable about my ailments, my medications and I didn't get the feeling he was just trying to rush me out the door to increase his turnover cash. This guy is aces in my books and I changed my primary care physician to him today. I'm angry I didn't find a doctor like him sooner. I've only seen him once and his businessman paraphernalia is a little disconcerting. I like money too but it makes me uneasy. I had to sign a form saying I am responsible for the full final cost. Most doctors I've seen will charge a high amount for the insurance and "forgive" the rest. Gotta say that makes me uneasy as well. We'll see how it goes going forward in terms of how badly it hits my wallet and I will update.

Despite multiple calls, I keep hearing the same response -- that they will "follow up with the coordinator," but nothing actually gets done. There is no option to submit a complaint through the patient portal, and emails go unanswered. As a patient, this lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable, especially when it delays necessary medical care. The doctor may be good, but the office management is very disorganized and unresponsive. Because of this experience, I am seriously reconsidering having my procedure done here. I hope the office improves its communication and takes patient concerns more seriously.

Left work early and got to my appointment 15mins early because I was a new patient and figured they would need some info/run my insurance etc. At 6.30pm I ask the receptionist if it will be much longer she says "yes you have one person in front of you" at which point I pointed out I made an appt and would have appreciated a call if the Dr was running behind so this way I would not have had to leave work early. So now the visit is complete and the Dr electronically sends my scripts to my pharmacy, they only receive 3 out of the 4.They called all day and no one answered the phone or returned it. So its the weekend and I dont have my rescue inhaler!! For the amount of money spent on insurance this office felt like a Medicaid clinic!!
