My office used to be right upstairs from here years ago, and I would always take a quick stroll after work to peek at what's new. You'll find items on sale on rotation each week, so sometimes I'll catch something I've been eyeing for $10 off. The brand is also price quite well compare to others for the quality you get. HeatTech stuff is amazing during winter to layer, and their summer Airism is great with breathable, thin fabrics for the summer. Now I also love their printed T-shirts. I've been waiting all these years for them to have a Studio Ghibli collab. What are the chances that during the month of my birthday, they had one? Like it's meant to be! By the way, if you sign up for their app, they also offer you a coupon for sign up and $10 off of a purchase of $75 or more near your birthday. They got me... perfect timing as I splurge on some Ghibi / Totoro merch. However, when I was in store all my sizes and some styles are gone so I placed an order online for it instead.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Uncle Otis Clothing online store last week. After I paid I was…read moreadvised that the shoes would ship and I would receive an email later with the shipping confirmation. I paid $200.00, for the shoes and Otis billed me an additional $45.00, to ship to Denver, Colorado. Earlier this week, I received the shipping confirmation, but I also received a separate email from the shipper, DHL, to let me know that I owed them an additional $72.81, and that if I did not pay in four days, the shipment would be sent back to Uncle Otis. I called Otis and was advised that because I live in the States, I would need to pay the duties on the order, and that if I didn't want to pay the duties, the shipment would be sent back to Uncle Otis Clothing and I would receive a refund, MINUS the $45.00, that I paid for shipping, so basically, I was on the hook for the $72.81, or I could send the shoes back and lose the $45.00, that I'd already paid. I was miffed to say the least and Otis was unhelpful when I emailed to ask why I paid over $115.00, just to ship. In fact, Uncle Otis Clothing didn't even have the ship to address correct, so that after I paid the extortion, so that I didn't end up paying $45.00, to get NOTHING, I had to call Uncle Otis Clothing back to sit on hold for a half hour white they called DHL to correct their mistake. To say this was mishandled is the understatement of 2025. The customer service was crap, as was the explanation of the return policy and why I was billed $117.81 for shoes that cost half of that cost. Uncle Otis Clothing is a complete scam and I will not stand silently by while companies like this one take advantage of people. The experience left a taste in my mouth that I would like to never taste again and I will continue spreading the word.

Best place to buy mens clothing in Toronto! My fiancee, Pam, and I came in looking for a number of things to go with my wedding tuxedo (dress shirt, tie, socks, shoes, etc). We had been to a few other stores and for various reasons couldn't find what we were looking for. I very much struggle to find clothes that fit or fashion advice I feel I can trust; it's not an exaggeration to say that shopping is my least favourite thing to do. However, the staff (especially Natasha) was great. She/They took us through all the different options for shirts/ties that would go with the modern tuxedo I had, gave pros/cons on each along with her opinion (which we went with). She taught me how to properly fold the pocket square, eliminated a concern I had that my pants weren't fitted properly, and all of this while helping 3-4 other people during a busy Saturday on a long weekend. All of their staff are fantastic. Highly recommended! read more

Terrible. I used to live in Montreal and am visiting Canada from Paris. I wanted to buy some North American fashion for my nieces. As the weather is unpredictable in Canada, I brought my Rudsak leather and fur puffer jacket. I walked into the store and an older saleswoman wearing a neon pink blazer turned to a customer trying something on very loudly to myself and the customer the what the customer was trying on was "more sophisticated than a puffer jacket." The clothing was nothing special compared to what is in store in Montreal and Paris and the service is tacky and rude. I would not recommend this store to my worse enemy. I cannot believe they support such unkind service. Never again. read more

I'm a big fan of the Gotstyle store on Bathurst in Toronto. Today Melissa spent her entire morning helping to set me up to look good at my new job. She helped me select a new suit, a couple of jackets and some amazing shirts and pants, and helped ensure it would be easy for me to coordinate and mix/match between them. I would never have been able to make such fashionable yet professional clothing choices without Melissa's focused attention, insight and advice. Highly recommend this store to anyone! read more

There were more adorable earrings, purses, and clothes than I could fathom. My friend and I wandered the store for nearly an hour alternately exclaiming, "cute!" with mouth agape or chatting up the staff. As Erin H mentions, each showcased artist/designer works onsite once a week. The only downside to this is if inquiring minds have questions about something other than the artist du jour personally made, there won't be any answers. And as a person with some hard core metal allergies, I won't buy jewelry unless I am certain that it doesn't contain anything that will make my earlobes swell. However, I was lucky to encounter the artist who crafted the earrings that fell in love with and so, got to take them home with me (and support the local arts). Plus, I was able to be a helper that day (I love being of assistance). As the resident artist handed me a credit card receipt, I was able to pass along this little tip: legal colors only please! I passed on the pink pen handed to me and instead signed with a my own, handy blue plume. For, although I wasn't planning on contesting the charges, anyone could attempt to do so and without either a customer's blue or black ink signature on file, the store might end up "out" some fundage.

I just bought a gorgeous top coat for $125 there that I know the Bay had on sale for $500! That is hard to beat but they continue to offer those deals. Alex and Sam are knowledgeable of their stock but also fun guys and it is an old-fashioned shopping experience as it is entertainment combined with great deals. Quality merchandise (check the labels) and every now and then, some major designer goods. It is a hidden gem of a store for men.

This is a particularly good place to shop if you're looking for unconventional, but very fashionable items. My favourite brand that they carry is 7 Downie Street, who make very nice, colourful shirts and jackets. You can find some more traditional items here too: blazers, suits, ties, sweaters, pants, etc. However, you won't find any shoes or traditional English overcoats like you might at Rego, Harry Rosen, Indochino or Proper Cloth. Also, just be VERY sure about what you buy. This is the only reason I won't give a five star rating. For understandable reasons for a small business, they're reluctant to give refunds if you purchase something and change your mind later. They're happy to give you store credit for most returns, but they probably won't refund you if you change your mind. Ignore the return policy at the end of your receipt, treat anything you buy here as a final sale, and you won't be disappointed. Everything they carry is high quality and they only sell new, never-before-worn clothes.

This store would not give me a refund. Any other store would have given me a refund or purchased the coat I wanted in the bigger size. I couldn't believe the snarky comments coming out of the employees mouths. My friends were flabbergasted at the attitude the employees were spitting out at us. I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!! I rather go to a store like Holt Renfrew or Mendocino where they do what needs to be done to make the customer happy. Holt Renfrew will fix products that need mending and their customer service is way better. Mendocino would have ordered me the coat in the larger size in a heartbeat. This store was so nice to me when I spent over $1000 here but as soon as I wanted to make an exchange or get a refund they couldn't care less. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL!!! Even though I didn't end up buying mine from Due West since we were in a different part of town prior to leaving Toronto, their suggestions helped me narrow down the jacket I eventually bought and love in this weather. They also offer Fusion Fit for petites that we didn't find calling around other CG resellers like Holt Renfrew. The wide-selection and availability in sizes definitely makes this a good spot to get a good dose of goosey warmth.

The studio/shop is lovely and shopping was fun and hassle free and unpressured. I had a better sense of how stylish the clothes are. I had a mandate in mind. I'm doing a lot of travelling and I wanted to put together a wardrobe that was easily interchangeable and fun to wear and that would easily fit into a carry on suitcase. I came to find Miik clothing & bought two of their Emily Cardigans & a dress. Julie is the store owner & she was there the day I came in. She was so helpful & I loved her positive & friendly attitude. The decor of the store is nice too. There are natural wood logs acting as posts for the clothing racks. It's a nice, light, airy feeling in the store. There are two change rooms at the back & a mirror nearby so you can check out how things fit on you. Will definitely be back in the store in the future!

The simple white walls, copper ceiling and rustic display furniture allow the merchandise to speak for itself . Obviously the owner had carefully selected designer pieces that would amalgamate well with the in-store label, Kin. The store collections are all about simplicity and minimalism. Each design is like a piece of art with high craftsmanship. They look amazing on their own, and even better when injected with your individuality. Sydney's also has great selection of denim, like Naked and Famous, Them Altelier and Rick Owens. Along with a small selection of awesome looking shoes, bags and small leather goods. I bought a great looking in-house label suit. The owner/designer was terrific and helpful. He took the time to explain his design, the fabric, as well as the overall construction of the suit. He didn't stop there, he showed me how great the suit would look after alterations. "Look at that, I had no idea that a suit could make my backside looks this good." Sold! Wrap that baby up!

Other than the slimness of the pant leg, everything else actually fit really well. I got my jacket unlined and it looks really good. I was worried it might look weird but they did such a professional job that I think it looks better than if it were lined and now it's also a little cooler to wear. Overall this looks like a great place to pick up a suit!
