I haven't had any issue with attitude or employees who are more interested in standing around chatting with coworkers here. I only have one thing I considered to be an issue with this store, which is lack of stock for sizes. However, after combing the city and internet for the models and size I am looking for and finding nothing, this has shown itself to be more of a sneaker issue, so groovy loses nothing for this. It's not their fault no one supplies Nike 11.5's! Kudos to them for trying. Did pick up some sweet New Balance 574's which may be the most comfortable kicks I've ever owned. Prices are in line with the retail standard, and they do have a sweet wall of clearance shoes that if they have your size, are all 50% off. Go check 'em out!

Despite the items being way more fashionable than at the outlets, they still had good sales mixed in with the new arrivals. They make you go looking for it though. They have a whole area where you can digitally customize t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with special Adidas designs, some unique to Toronto! Think raccoons and Canadian geese but in a more tasteful manner. There were digital kiosks where you can come up with the design. They can then press those designs onto your chosen items. They also have iron on badges if you want that look instead of the prints. I love that they had the Toronto exclusives. On my travels to Tokyo and Seoul, Adidas there had exclusives for those cities, so happy to see them for T.O.!

I needed a new pair of cute but super comfy and supportive sandals for the summer. I ventured to Walking on a Cloud. I was still in the market for Mephistos but not the Milly style. The sales associate was great and even brought out a pair that were like the Milly but had a lower heel and better support and were not on display. I loved them, but as it turns out, one of the many little crystals adorning the top had already fallen out (I had read in some of the show reviews that this might happen). She told me that there was a 6 month warranty on any shoe defects, but I wasn't going to chance it. She helped me find a super cute, narrower and sexier comfort sandal in bronze and gold with python print. They are super comfy and beautiful. I have to say that despite the good service, I don't know how much traffic this location gets. Every time I've gone in, I've been the only person in the store. On Queen St., that is a rarity.

The beautiful architecture marries with the Anthro aesthetic perfectly. Lovely selection, particularly the housewares department. Was just a bit disappointed in the clothing department. I guess for such a large, lovely space I was expecting a bit more stock. It's not lacking by any stretch, but I've seen other stores pack in more in a smaller footprint, like shoes and such. But it's still an exceptionally beautiful store that was a pleasure to stroll and browse in. Oh, I was also able to find a replacement mug identical to my favorite mug that was chipped in a vigorous washing session by my husband. And for that, I am forever grateful.
