Wow! This food is so good. I have to admit I was just a tiny bit skeptical, but I was totally blown away at how great my dinner was tonight. The ingredients are obviously very fresh and of the highest quality. The seasonings are perfectly measured and create a really refined flavor profile. It is exceptional, to say the least! My dinner tonight included a green salad (excellent mix of greens) with strawberries and a strawberry vinaigrette dressing. The combination sounded a bit odd to me at first, but I love to try new things. The salad was incredible. Definitely something I would never have thought of, but I can't wait to have it again! You did prepare a cheap ass strawberry salad made of cabbage and already sliced strawberries...that by the way spoiled before we ate it. No flavor by the way. Cheap ingredients- the vanilla chicken were thighs by the way, also cheap and prepared like a stew. The salmon was barely an inch thick on the thickest end! The vegan dishes were so-so, sliced up veggies- that's it.also cheap ingredients that i would consider a side dish not an entree. it was sad to serve these lame dishes that cost me over $200 per meal!! i could have had an easier time going out to a really nice restaurant without any food preparation on my part and my grown kids would have been full and liked their meal. By the way you should really admit you do not normally cook vegan food!. Vegans do not eat honey. The menu sounded great, but when i saw it, completed, I realized you are really not a professional chef.It really looked like a friend brought over a little dinner... You need to work on you portioning a bit. I wish i had taken a picture of all you left for me.That was not $280.00 worth of food. She was excellent to work with, made it easy to understand the workings of the new ovens and she prepared a full meal with us for a hands on learning experience. All were very impressed with the colorful display of a beautiful organic feast gracefully presented with perfect timing. We especially enjoyed the Mustard Roasted Salmon w/ Lingonberry Sauce, Broiled Halibut w/ Roasted Pineapple Basil & Saffron Salsa and fantastic Peach Cobbler a la Mode. I was looking for someone to teach my 18 year old daughter a few things before she moved out, such as food safety, chopping technique and how to make a few foods in advance so she doesn't end up living off of take out sushi... Elizabeth came to our house totally prepared. She brought many of her own condiments and spices, all organic. the halibut in mango sauce was outstanding. the curried chicken was dry. the coconut rice was ok, nothing special. this might work for people who can't cook at all, though. unfortunately, chef B arranged for delivery and was 1 hr late, then when she didn't find me, went to the office of my complex complaining that i had missed our appt, talking smack about me to everyone. not cool. then instead of correcting her error and coming back out, made US go all the way to scotts valley from aptos to pick up the food. her attitude that i should have waited until she felt like coming by was very disrespectful of my time. we had set an appt, and i even waited an hour past that, and she did not show. then she tried to lie saying she came earlier, as if i wouldn't have seen her. really disappointing. too bad, i would have ordered that fish again. read more
