I can't say enough good things about this studio. From day one, I've felt welcomed and supported by both the instructors and the community. One of my favorite things is that they greet me by name when I walk in--it truly feels like a place where people care about their members. The variety of classes is fantastic, and I love that they're continuing to expand their offerings with barre and now Pilates in addition to yoga. There's truly something for everyone, whether you're looking for a challenging workout or a more restorative practice. Most importantly, this is one of the few workouts I genuinely look forward to. Do not sign up for a recurring payment. I went in to cancel my membership in November of 2024. I was told my membership would be cancelled. Well, I was billed in December AND January. I went in again in January and the person at the front desk said nothing was on file and had me fill out another form. I was told a manager would call me and no one ever did. I was again billed in February. I called and reported them to my credit card company and I called GoYoga, having to leave a message. Well, guess what? They billed me for March, too. Great Location, Studio, and Teachers if you are in the Powell area. Been a yogi here for a couple of years now. Convenient and consistent classes in the morning for experienced Yogis. Classes for the less serious or less experienced yogis are scheduled a little less frequently but the teachers are great and they offer some evening and weekend classes too. Go Yoga does an amazing job at making everyone (members and non-members alike) feel comfortable and welcome in all of their locations. They offer a lot of workshops which are a lot of fun. They genuinely care about their students and take time to remember their names and things about them. I had to take time off work for medical leave/medical treatment for a few months last year and they worked with me to put my membership on hold and and would even text me occasionally to check in and see how I was doing! I don't frequent the Powell location, but did go there for my Level One teacher training. I like that they have changing rooms since may people may be coming to yoga right before/after work. Their front desk is very friendly, they have several bathrooms. They have multiple rooms which are both decent size and have bathrooms in them. They also have a decent size retail section. Go Yoga is also great at offering accommodations during classes to make it more accessible to all students. They are never judgmental and they encourage you to do what feels right for your body. They welcome students of all experience levels and are very encouraging. Really the only complaint I have is that some of the studios do not have water fountains in them. This was particularly challenging when I did the teacher training here since we did multiple practices a day and were there all day. While I brought some water with me, I couldn't refill it throughout the day, and wouldn't have been able to keep it cold all day. I usually would run to a restaurant or gas station on break to get more water. I didn't want to risk passing out or becoming dehydrated from not having enough water. I frequent the Gahanna location for morning power classes and they do not have a water fountain either. This is challenging because the class is so early in the morning I don't have a lot of time to drink water before class, meaning I could get easily dehydrated/get headaches after I finish the one botte of water I bring with me. read more

She did such an amazing job and I really loved how she incorporated in animal/nature poses and themes throughout to help enhance the event theme. I know there were people attending this event in person, but Krista even made the virtual attendees feel welcome and included too. I used to love GoYoga for the convenience and quality of teachers. However, they have handled the coronavirus situation extremely poorly. They are charging customers their monthly membership fees despite ALL STUDIOS BEING CLOSED. If student loans are universally paused without needing to specifically request to do so, a yoga studio should do the same. GoYoga has not send any formal correspondence about how they are handling the situation. I had to call the studios myself to ask if and when they are closing. GoYoga was not going to close after Mike Dewine (Governor of Ohio) ordered all gyms to close. They said they weren't going to close until specifically asked to do so. This is extremely negligent and dangerous. This pandemic has truly shone line on the poor moral standing of this company, or at least the Regional Managers in Ohio, and I am appalled. read more

I was a bit hesitant at my first Go Yoga class - when I learned that there was at least one attendee that had never taken a yoga class before. While I'm not yoga-goddess, I was afraid that the class was going to be remedial and not challenging at all. Boy was I wrong. I've been taking yoga a couple years now - most recently at Burn in Gahanna. I enjoyed the level that the instructors there taught to, but had become bored with the same routines and music. At Go Yoga, not only was I physically challenged, I learned at least one new pose. There were some options provided for moves and poses that could have made it more strenuous, but I opted not to attempt these as I was sweating enough. I liked the fact that the course was an hour twenty minutes. I am used to one hour classes that often leave me feeling short-changed on the shivasina. I felt the added time really allowed for a good warm up and cool down. The location is pretty good (New Albany). Not as convenient as other options (Gahanna), but parking is easy and I have my choice of several routes to get to the studio. I also like that there are two other facilities available, one of which is near my work. The one negative and the reason I only gave 4 stars was the fact that it was not a dedicated studio. The room was bright, I initially had trouble figuring out if I was in the right place, and I foresee the room being cramped when more people attend. But again, that's only the New Albany facility. The instructor was incredible. I liked that she did not physically go around and "fix" positioning - at least for me. (I didn't notice that she did so to others, either). I've been to classes where the instructors are hands on - and some where we pair up with other attendees for partner-assisted poses. That really makes me uncomfortable. The instructor was friendly, loud enough to hear, encouraging, and overall a really good teacher. I would highly recommend her for all levels. So if you're looking for a place to take yoga - regardless of the level you need - I'd recommend Go Yoga! read more

I started going to this GoYoga from a Living Social deal that I bought. They have 3 studios, but the Powell one is by far the best. The other 2 are rented rooms, while the Powell location is their own beautiful space which they recently expanded. Addie is my favorite teacher, and she is one of the best I've had anywhere. She is very passionate about yoga, and it's apparent in her teaching. She also does lots of extra things that are awesome like giving out scented hot towels and little mini massages. Seriously, she brings her own towel warmer! That's dedication. I just wish GoYoga would offer some yin as well as restorative classes. read more

I am in love with this Yoga studio. It has definitely become my calm and relaxing place to go during a crazy week or to break up a busy weekend. The staff has been fabulous. I have taken classes by Addie and Jillian (mostly due to scheduling) and they are fabulous. They both have their own style but both are very effective and I leave both relaxed and my butt totally kicked! It is amazing. Jenny subbed one of my classes and I am not sure if she is usually at the Powell location or at another one of their locations, but she was fabulous. I actually took a spin class by her at (former) Urban Active and she equally kicked my booty in Yoga. Glorious! The only issue I have encountered are other students not respecting the room and its place of quietness. But that is not the studio's issue. People just need to be more considerate of other's practice ;) I have recommended this studio to many friends and I usually get a coupon in the mail every month or so for a free class for new clients which I like to pass on to friends to join me. Pricing is great and cheaper if you sign up online (which is very user friendly). They often have $5 classes which is a bonus if you want to throw in an extra class in the week on the cheap! GoYoga has a good mix of instructors and class offerings. I like snagging the $5 flow classes from time to time. They always seem to be renovating or expanding which is refreshing but sometimes confusing if you aren't a regular. This is one of THE BEST climate controlled studios in the area. The humidity is spot on, they can get the place hot but not all soggy like some. Although I don't have children it's nice they offer childcare for some class times. And the 50 minute class options are nice because you feel like you're still making time for yourself but in a shorter time frame. The downside of the 50 minute classes is that it feels like you just get warmed up and start working on challenging poses then you have to quickly come back down. I used to love it here, but the last two times I heard customers talking about other customers. Not my jam. The location probably has more to do with this then the actual business. They do have convenient times, reasonable pricing and a very pleasant staff. I went here many times and liked it. Their hot Vinyasa classes are def worth your time. They will challenge you and give you a good work out. There is also a candle lit one that the teacher is so positive that you smile. She's great. They are expanding, which is good because the last couple of times classes were too full. They should have a cut off so people aren't on top of each other. Also at the end of a class some of the teachers wipe an oil on you and adjust your neck. This feels good and smells good, however they do it to everyone else, so you are getting multiple peoples sweat rubbed around your hairline, neck and etc. read more

My daughter and I recently signed up on a two week trial basis for classes at GoYoga in Powell. Neither one of us has ever done yoga, but wanted to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised; the facility is beautiful and relaxing. Addie is by far the best instructor, and GoYoga's most valuable asset, (I hope the owners know what a gem she is!) she is dedicated and inspires you the entire class, and those scented towels are beyond amazing! After the trial period ended, we couldn't sign up fast enough to join. They have a great schedule of classes, but I do wish they offered more of the fundamental classes after working hours for those of us who can't get to class in the morning. All in all, a really great experience and a wonderful value! read more

I love GoYoga. Scheduling is really easy and everyone is very friendly. I almost always have a great experience. I love the variation in the levels and types of classes offered - and I especially love Addie & Anne H. Addie is the sweetest person and she works you pretty hard, but she always manages to do so in a way which inspires confidence, peace, and positive energy. Anne H is a powerhouse - she plays fun music and she works you super hard, but always encourages smiling and laughter. If I could take her classes every day of the week I'd be incredibly fit! I wish there were more classes that began at 7 or 7:30pm on weekdays at Powell, because it is impossible for me to get there for a class starting ealier than 7pm on a weeknight. If they offered more evening classes I would take them in a heartbeat! read more

I really enjoy Go Yoga. There's an abundance of great classes. All at various convenient locations. It's generally a mindful workout. However, Go could use some improvements. There's very little diversity in clientele & teaching staff. The yoga spaces aren't used to their full potential. They look more like big empty rooms in a strip mall than warm welcoming studios. They could use some ambiance. The whole "power heated" thing is out of control. Many classes are simply a calisthenics workout with 30 seconds of relaxation at the beginning & end. They skew competitive, not mindful. And in the humid summer months, there should be no heated classes. I want a mindful practice. Not a torture session. Please offer flow/vinyasa classes in the early morning (6am!) & in the evenings. Again, there should be more alternatives to "power heated". read more

This place is pretty amazing and has classes offered for a good price. I have attended numerous classes at both the Worthington and Powell locations and enjoyed the Powell location best. The atmosphere is really calm inside and Addie is a great instructor. I attend her hot yoga class and love it. She always tries to add different positions each week, it is always a workout, and I always feel relaxed and well centered afterwards. There are a lot of different class offerings and instructors, so if you do not like one class, definitely try a different one. They all have a different flow and ambiance to it. I was a member for years, convenience and cost were definitely a plus. They tend to get a lot of new teachers, but there are some good good ones. I stayed a member for 9 months during Covid, even while being charged full price for my membership when the studios were closed, but ended up recently cancelling. I'm not a fan of the current Covid protocols. If you miss a class they charge you an extra $10 in addition to the price you already paid for the class. The Arlington location, the most convenient location for me, is very small. The mat markers seem to be 6 feet apart, but once you have the mats down and are moving you definitely get close to others in class. Beware of the cancellation policies, you need to fill out a form a full 14 days in advance. Although I emailed a cancellation notice before the 14 day window, I was unaware that I needed to fill out a form. By the time I found the form buried in my junk mail I was forced to pay for another month. read more

Whether it's relaxation yoga, heated, flow or fundamentals, there is something for everyone Monday thru Sunday, morning and evening. The instructors are aware, engaged and thorough in their classes. I actually quit the local gym I was a member of to join GoYoga and have never questioned whether or not it was a good decision. I have advanced in my yoga practice significantly because of the experience and instruction I receive every week at GoYoga. I have found them to be the most affordable and accessible yoga studio in Columbus and would recommend them to ANYONE wanting to continue and advance their yoga practice or are simply curious to try it out. I had a deal for GoYoga. I think it was 20 classes for $30 or something. It had an expiration date so I only got to use about 10 classes. I really enjoyed hot yoga at the original New Albany location. Any other classes weren't really good workouts. I kept getting the same instructor and she seemed very nice but inexperienced. Everything was fine until one week I had 3 bad experiences in a row. I drove 30 minutes to the new Powell location, got lost, was 2 minutes late, and they locked the doors so no one else could come into the class. Another day I was going to the new New Albany location, which they recently changed. I got an email at 10am the day of the class saying the start time was changed from 11 to 10:30 am. I think they could have given me more notice. I had been signed up for this class for over a week. I got there as fast as I could and was a couple minutes late. There was a sign on the door that said do not disturb and everyone's purses were outside the room. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car keys and coat out there in the hall. So I just left. When I finally got into a class, at the Worthington location, halfway though the class it smelled so strongly of food in there that I was getting nauseous the whole time. I seriously thought I was going to throw up the whole time. It ruined my work out. Always be early!! read more

The absolute best yoga studio around. I have been attending yoga classes at GoYoga since 2012, and in that time my love for the studio has only grown. I spent several years living in Arizona, where I tried out several different studios, never really finding the perfect fit for me. I have also attended yoga classes at other Columbus studios such as Harbor Yoga and classes offered at local gyms. No studio seems to compare to GoYoga. Everyone is friendly, knowledgable, and guiding in order to ensure a safe and enjoyable yoga experience. I regularly attend classes led by Anne H., Amy, Alissa, Michelle, and Ali- all of whom I recommend. Each instructor is different in their approach to teaching, and each class style, whether it be power, vinyasa, chill flow, heated, deep stretch, etc. has something unique to offer. This wide variety in classes and teachers helps keep things interesting and offers something for everyone, whether new to yoga or a seasoned yogini. I have a hectic schedule so the wide range of classes throughout the day is perfect for me. Great yoga studio for beginners and those that want to try a "heated" yoga class that's not really very hot. You won't be doing any advanced moves and it runs like a typical yoga class. What I mean is, it's what you imagine when you think of yoga without any difficult arm balances or overly creative sequences. If you have a more extensive yoga background and want a challenge, this may not be the place for you. That being said, Go Yoga has a wonderful and inclusive atmosphere that never feels "clique-y" or pretentious like some of the more elite yoga studios. I actually attend regular practice at the Upper Arlington location but I can't say enough things about the staff at Go Yoga! Recently I had a back injury that has prevented me to practice and I was signed up for a workshop and sadly had to cancel. When i sent an email I could not believe how kind and understand the staff was. I was refunded for my late cancellation and given a kind get well message.
