This location helped me to expand my workout regimen by offering a wide variety of classes and consistent childcare. Worthington will always be my home base in many ways (big love!!!), but my yoga community has grown and strengthened by opening myself up to new things and new places. I am truly grateful for the wonderful people at this studio.

That class is what led me to stick with the Yoga Loft and continue my practice to now. The environment is very soothing and calming, and puts me at ease the second I walked in. While I haven't had a class with all the instructors, I've had at least one class with majority of them and there isn't one I would not recommend. They're all dedicated, caring, and have their unique quality. I also love the mix of classes -- about a month into attending classes, YL offered a free total body conditioning class. This is now a regular class and one I attended. So now not only am I more relaxed with yoga, I am becoming and feeling stronger with TBC! I can't recommend this studio enough -- and as someone who just started practicing yoga a few months ago, I can assure you this is a safe place to start!

The lake is so pretty, the paths are well marked. This would be a go to spot during the fall color changes as the reflections off the lake would be pretty much what dreams are made of. Lots of space on walkway that goes all the way around the lake so you never feel crowded. Shows like 1.3miles but I'd guess closer to 2.0 miles but it's all pretty much flat and groomed. If you're ever in this area, plan a good walk with your significant other, put your phone in your pocket, hold their hands and just talk about how amazing your life is with them in it. And don't forget. Listen to what they have to say.

Anyway, the check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 1pm. We paid fifty-three dollars per night for two adults and one dog, with a six fifty reservation charge. Check-in was easy, and the attendant was helpful; you just drive up to the office, check-in and go on your way. The layout is similar to a subdivision with cul-de-sacs and each spot having its own little yard, making it feel somewhat like camping in the woods. Our neighbors were quiet and most vehicles drove slowly. Everyone we met was pleasant and friendly. The camp itself was clean and easy to hook up. Bathrooms and showers were clean and there was plenty of toilet paper. Large trash bins were available along with gray water stations. The only thing I'd suggest is for the site identifiers to be repainted, as several had faded over time. We visited the beach, but didn't go swimming, given the temperature. The pond is catch and release and seemed maintained and not stagnant. The budget limitations need to be considered before passing judgment. We used bug spray every day and that seemed to help keep the bugs away. The site we booked had a level surface and plenty of room to back in. The water and electrical were easily accessible and worked fine. A lot of campers used an inline water filter. The water quality report is on the park website for anyone interested. The grass was well trodden, making a camp rug a must-have. There was also a fire pit with a grill attached, but we didn't use it to cook. Also, at the time, there wasn't a burn ban. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we'll definitely return. It was fun to walk down the aisles and see all the setups and decorations and note future camp site options. How many campers are long-timers, it's hard to tell. But we were pleased and our dog loved exploring on our walks.

The idea is to build your own practice that you can take with you outside of class with reconnecting every few days to advance / improve your practice. Serious suggestion: I would have loved more of an explanation on the significance of the poses and which muscles to actually recruit to enable me to do the poses better. I was disappointed to quickly see their views/ethics/ and approach in opposition to YOHI's previous leadership. Posts that are abelist in opposition to being trauma informed. Post that spread right wing conspiracies about the Covid vaccine. Posts that condemn the black lives matter movement. I remember marching in the streets with the former owners asking for accountability of our police force for minority brothers and sisters in this city. It makes me very sad to say I can no longer give financially to this studio when it's owners ethic and my own are this far out alignment. I know many of the teachers are the same from before.
