Fast forward to today, I go in and try and purchase the same amount and he tells me he can't take credit cards for this purchase as he looses money. There is a sign right in front of me saying he charges 3% for credit card so I pointed that out. He replied that he still takes a loss and I'm getting all this Tuna for $24 and cash only. It's clear he doesn't want to report it and pay taxes on it. Horrible business practices and he lost a customer. Just a tiny little dump with an owner who isn't too bright. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We request the water again and this time one glass comes out. There were two of us. Ok. Not really impressed with the level of attention from our server/s. Appetizers come out, which were fine, and then the meal arrives. I ordered the lunch special Cajun boil. I eat a few shrimp which were delicious, and I crack into the crab leg and the meat is gray. Mushy. Clearly spoiled. I immediately return the dish and when the manager comes to speak to me, he leads with "we changed vendors 3 days ago, and I would offer you another boil but since you didn't like it, I'm afraid the other crab might be the same". Because I didn't like it?! It was clearly spoiled and someone in your kitchen isn't doing their job. After a few more words, finally the apology come out (which is what he should have led with) and a 50 dollar gift card to another VC. He should have comped the entire meal!! The way this manager handled this situation was extremely poor and left a very sour taste in my mouth. This should have ended here. Alas, it did not. Because I ate the shrimp in the voodoo sauce from the boil, (which was contaminated) I got violently sick that evening. Vomiting, stomach cramps and was on the toilet seat on an off for 6 hours. Violently ill. I was unable to sleep because of the unbelievable discomfort. I ended up needing an IV of 2 1,000 ml bags of sodium chloride, Zofran for nausea and medication to stop the stomach cramping. Never ever again. They lost me as a customer.

He loves wasabi so I was a little disappointed when he returned with this flavor of pickles. To my surprise these pickles are DELICIOUS! Very unique with barely any wasabi flavor which was great. It has a nice blend of tang, sweetness, and spices. I will definitely buy more of their pickles. Unfortunately, I don't know how much my hubby paid for a quart of pickles, but it's worth the flavor explosion you'll experience. Great job, guys!
