I had this company replace a roof for me on a duplex home. I started having leak issues almost immediately. He did come back to try to repair it but was never able to stop the leaks. I had to have one slope of the roof replaced by another roofing contractor which fixed that problem but I am still having leak problems on the roof surfaces that Grablis did. I will never do business with him again and I strongly recommend the same for anyone considering it. read more

I recently had another roofer here and the sad part is even if I wanted to I couldn't sell my house because the roof will never pass inspection. Tony from Grablis has done 2 roofs for us 1 in Maryland and 1 in Delaware both are messed up and not done to spec at all, having just recently found this out from another contractor!!!!!! he will not return phone calls at all!!!! I have to have the 1 roof in Delaware completely replaced and this was just done last year!!! the one in Maryland is leaking AGAIN and is ruining my hard wood floors!!! what a joke, I am contacting the BBB and an attorney!!!! read more

This company was supposed to replace my roof. They did a terrible job and would not come back to finish the work they were paid to do. We tried several times to schedule with them and now we've been through the court system and he won't pay The judgment that was placed against him.Meanwhile we spent our hard-earned money on a roof that was half done. After many estimates, we decided on a contractor that told us that we don't need a brand new roof, just a new layer, and that he has the solution for repairing the downspout area. Also, his pricing was around $2,500 for the whole 2-day job; which was at least $10,000 lower than all other estimates. After the work was completed, I noticed that the roof was leaking in the same problem location days after it rained (now it leaks during the rain). I understand that sometimes there are other underlying issues that must be solved first before the primary issue can be fixed and perhaps that's why he was unsuccessful in fixing our primary concern. To make matters worse, we now have leaks in areas that we hadn't had them before, (see the bathroom ceiling picture). What should I do??? I am thinking at this point it would probably be best to start from scratch: Get a crew in here, {I am a general contractor), and take it down to the rafters, make all of the necessary carpentry and construction repairs/modifications (maybe re-grade the area by the downspout? remove the downspout to another location?), then have a roofing crew install a new roof: PVC or TPO? The problem with the scenario that i just posed is that I am not sure if we have the current funds to pull this off right now. Do you have any other suggestions?
