I purchased a home, in February. The previous owners had contacted and and paid for Paddy's roofing to replace a dryer vent, for a larger one. The vent was in the garage but due to snow it was delayed. I was told to contact them and have them do the install. I wanted to be present due to the bad reviews. The first man came and appeared confused. He contacted coworkers to come. They did. Someone climbed on the roof. There are a couple of nails dropped on my patio. They said that they could not do it unless the dryer company. They also informed me that since they came to the house their obligation was done and if I wanted to have the vent replaced I would have to pay them again AND arrange for a dryer vent installer to be there at the same time. THEY DID NOT DO WHAT THEY WERE PAID TO DO. I would not recommend using this company. read more

nfortunately I had to remove my original 5 star review and leave negative feedback regarding my experience at Paddy's. While Paddy himself and his family were personable and professional, I can't express my disappointment with how many things went wrong with my siding install, with no ownership of the issues from my project manager. I was willing to overlook many of these issues, and I did not mention them in my original review. I'm a blue collar worker myself and I understand things happen. The main issue I'm speaking of is our brand new gutters (installed about year and half ago) were damaged severely when Paddy's reinstalled them after the siding replacement. I brought this to project manager, and they had many excuses ready as to how it wasn't their fault, including that they didn't touch the gutters, which just isn't true. I'll also add that when they had my gutters down for the install , they just left them on the ground about 3 feet from where the install was happening, which probably lead to the damage. I have pictures from before the install proving that the gutters were damaged afterwards. I pressed the matter, to which I was told that they don't have a ladder big enough to fix the gutters (explain that one to me) I know for a fact all the gutters were removed to replace fascia. I saw them on the ground myself. A little ownership of the problem would have went a long way with me. We now have water seeping into our crawl, and I will likely have to pay for an all new gutter reinstall. Will attach pics. Paddy's was supposed to reinstall my shutters that we repainted, which were done and painted long before they wrapped up the siding. They left quite a few unhung, I called project manager, and they sent someone out that hung about 2 more shutters, and left about 5 of them. Told project manager, she said that they didn't reinstall due to them being damaged (not true, only 2 shutters were broken) the shutters that were left out got destroyed by a bad storm that hit the area, so now I have to consider redoing my shutters too, there's and uneven amount installed. Paddy's crew trampled my fiances flowers and killed our pine shrub. Told project manager, Antonio came out, took photos, nothing came of it. No apology, ownership of it or anything. This and the shutter situation I also brushed off as to not argue. With the gutter situation, I decided to highlight all these issues. Furthermore, I was not happy with my tyvek install. It was noticeably sloppy. Paddy's finished product looks great, cosmetically, but the crew they sent rush through the project as fast as humanly possible, and it shows. This was also something I wasn't going to press, but I will attach photos of the questionable house wrap install. The amount of times I had to call about small nagging issues was insane. Only for someone to come out, not do what I called for, and leave. Most people would give up too. My full install was about $30k dollars. Not a small amount of money. I expected more. read more

Paddy's just installed a new gutter system. I would not recommend this company to provide this service. The new system has 2-3 inch gaps in the corners in which is covered with a gaudy plate to hide the poor craftmanship of the installers. I believe it distracts from the well maintained house and overall I believe the new systems has lowered my property value. read more

This is in addition to my original review. Paddy's did remove the useless HVAC pipe they installed on the roof but did not refund the extra money I paid for it. The disconnection from the HVAC was not already there. Their reply did not mention why the project manager relied on pictures for the final inspection instead of him inspecting the work in person as promised. Their reply ignored that there was a leak 3 days later when it rained that they had to come back and repair that would not have happened if an experienced project manager would have seen if he did a final inspection in person as promised. Others complained of leaks at the same time. Slow down and take accountability. Your quote was the highest I received but I thought I was paying for quality work, quality product, and quality customer service - an honest day's pay for an honest day's work. read more

Project was WAY worse than expected but overcharges were spot-on as quoted as contingencies. Job was completed in one long day. Dumpster arrived at 6:54, first part of crew within 10 minutes of that and they didn't leave until about 7:30PM. I don't think there are enough characters available to explain how badly they lied and misled us. I called with one specific purpose, which I was very clear about. I have stained fascia, and I wanted to know the cause and then have it repaired. The owner and another contractor explained that they would remove the fascia to identify the cause, which could be my gutters. The estimate was based on what was likely the cause, but I was assured multiple times that they would remove the fascia to confirm. so I signed the estimate. They repaired my gutters and left without removing the fascia, which was the sole reason that I contacted them. When I questioned it, they said their estimate didn't say that, however, we had a clear verbal agreement, which they violated, and offered to do the actual work I wanted from the beginning for $500+ more after I paid $1100 for something that may not have been necessary. I'm filing multiple complaints and citing Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP). read more

Paddy's Roofing came out a few weeks ago and gave us an estimate on replacing our roof. Our representative, Randy, was on time, friendly and gave us a price before he left. We had our new roof installed yesterday and it IS BEAUTIFUL! Our project manager, Matt called us and discussed all of the details from drip edge to fascia color. Who knew I would be learning new things about our home? He was so informative! His team, from the install to the clean up, were efficient, professional and polite. Really disappointed in the service from Paddy's. I had gotten 2 good recommendations regarding their work so I called Paddy's to repair a missing shingle. Came out and gave a reasonable estimate within a week for shingle repair and chimney update.. However, after that the communication and service was poor. Repair date was pushed back several times due to weather (understandable). Project manager called several times to reschedule. Told me repair crew would come out on Sunday and it would take 6-8 hours. OK- end up getting a call on Saturday from roofers telling me they were at my house and needed electricity. Absolutely no warning-ruining my Saturday. They finished up and left roofing debris at my house for 48 hours. I called to see when it would be picked up and if job was finished. Project manager told me they had no idea that they had come on Saturday and would send someone out to review work and pick up trash. Trash was left on my back deck and in front of my house. That day a manager(i think) came out and told me that the work was not done up to snuff and would need to be redone. He picked up the trash. Okay- that's good right? They didn't try to pass off shotty work. Office called back and told me that they would call to tell me when they'd be back out to finish job. Project manager never called me back and the workers began showing up randomly. They were there Wednesday for 20 minutes. Showed up again Friday for 2 hours. Then showed up again Monday for 4 hours. I called the office and again, project manager had no idea they were coming out and promised she'd call back to resolve it. I could still see the missing shingle-the reason I called- so I knew they weren't finished. Project manager calls back and says they are all finished. I ask about the missing shingle and she says- oh that's the neighbor's house. ???? I said well it was the neighbor's house when I asked you to fix it. The project manager starts telling me that it isn't their responsibility and they don't remember coming out to my house for that. Then Pat calls and again says he doesn't remember coming to my house for that and it's the neighbor's house so not their responsibility. I was so upset. The entire reason I called was to have the missing shingle replaced and now they don't remember?? Pretty convenient. Anyway, after a not very pleasant conversation, Paddy's agreed to finish the work I paid for and replaced the shingle. Really unhappy with the entire process. Their lack of knowledge of their employees work schedule, lack of communication with the customer and trying not to finish their work is really frustrating and disheartening. Won't be recommending or using again. read more

Contracted to have Paddy repair a roof leak around the chimney. Estimate exceeded one thousand three hundred dollars to replace a square of shingles , small panel of plywood sheathing, aluminum chimney flashing and cement chimney cap. After the work was completed the roof still leaked into my attic over the family room. This winter the flashing they installed at the base of the roof separated from the brick the chimney. After the shingles were removed and the plywood exposed the project manager Matt called and talked me through what was happening before any more costs were incurred. The crew was amazing, respectful and timely. They took care not to break anything by removing anything close to the house, even sweeping my front stairs before they left for the day and they were coming back the next day! After the work was done, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up...not only of my yard, but the yards of several of my neighbors. Long over due review. I contacted Paddy's about 2 years ago about getting a free estimate on my roof. The ladies in the office were very courtious and friendly. They scheduled the appointment and showed up on time and the gentleman was very friendly and polite.. He explained everything about their company and products. He quoted me a price that I was VERY impressed with.. So impressed, I asked if he can give me a estimate on windows. Again he quoted me a VERY impressed price. I figured out the savings between the roof and the windows and thought. Hey, what about gutters?. Needless to say I got a new roof, 12 windows and new gutters all around the house. They showed up at the house at 730 am. I grabbed my truck and headed to the beach for the day. Who wants to be in the house with all that hammering lol.. I pulled up to my street at 330pm and as I was 20 feet from my house. I saw the trucks leaving. PERFECT timing.. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 start review is because one of the windows had a bad spring about 2 weeks from installation and when I opened the window it slide back down halfway... I called and told them that and they had someone come out and replace the spring. Took him 15 minutes. Also, one of the gutter spouts rivet clasps came out and I called them about that and they came right out and fixed it. Took him 5 minutes. Its been 2 years now and not a single issue.
