It felt as though the company may have assumed I wasn't serious about the project or didn't have the budget -- a disappointing and unfair assumption if that was the case. Regardless, the lack of professionalism and basic communication was unacceptable. Got a message next day the lady at Capps said supplies will be in in 3-4 days. I call a week later and Capps has no record of an order. Got nothing but a run around for months. Months! Finally I get message I will get what supplies he has and a check for the remainder. Today I get 10 boxes of trex serene deck kits. Worth about 1300$. I gave him 9000$. No check. Not enough supply and not all of the supplies to do this job. I have A LOT more to purchase. I was flat out lied to and taken advantage of after paying this company 72,000$ for work that was not all completed. No receipts given for any of the jobs. I was initially told the project would take 14 days at most and it turned into a two and a half month project. All the while the project manager ghosted me and would not provide an update unless I called. And just when you think the project is done, turns out they used untreated wood for an outdoor deck. After finally calling someone above the project manager I was give a discount for inconvenience I guess but at these prices this is simply unacceptable. I had another project lined up but did not move forward with using F&S. I am looking for a new contractor.
