I am particularly impressed with how the caregivers and teachers take a genuine interest in the progress and lives of each of the children in their class. Whenever I've had questions, the Orchards Director has been easy to reach and prompt in her responses. The classrooms have been recently renovated and are kept clean. There is a good variety of age appropriate and safe toys in all of the classrooms. Security is well maintained with video monitoring, keypad access to facilities and fenced outdoor play areas. I love the phone application that they use for the secure check in and out procedure, as well as the photo updates throughout the day. Their Junior Kindergarten class is quite robust in its educational curriculum. The lead Junior Kindergarten teacher has been teaching young students for over 20 years, I believe. I'm honestly impressed at the progress my four year old has made behaviorally and educationally. They also have done a great job at offering events throughout the year. Kids Christmas program, picture days, Easter egg hunts, "pumpkin patch" etc. I couldn't recommend the Orchards more.

Our family was looking for a daycare after having a negative experience at another one. We tried to…read moremake it work at the other daycare, especially since it was right next to my work, but in less than a week, we knew it was not the right fit for him. He was unhappy and did not want to go back. So we found ourselves touring other daycares and felt the most at ease with Global Early Learning South. Our son immediately felt comfortable with Maggie, the teachers, and his peers there. Even in his first few days, we saw in his videos that he fit right in as he was jumping around with his shaker during dance class and roaring like a lion in his yoga class. In addition to the photos and videos in Procare, Maggie texted us extra photos and videos during the first week to give us peace of mind that he was in good hands. The school provides breakfast, snack, lunch, then another snack in the afternoon. These are all healthy meals and most of the time the food is organic. As a home daycare, Maggie shared that she buys only what she would eat with her family. The kids enjoy a wide variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts and seasonal experiences. One of our favorites was watching the children raise caterpillars and then release them as butterflies. They even host fun events like mini Olympics, where the kids get to stand on a podium to celebrate their accomplishments. In addition to their regular day, they have enrichment four times a week which is included in the tuition. A yoga instructor comes in on Mondays, a dance instructor on Tuesdays, Stretch & Grow on Wednesdays, and Tumble Bus on Thursdays (my son's favorite). The school has amazing community events, a family picnic day, a zoo day, summer movie night, and the highlight of the year is the Winter Nutcracker performance. On this night the students from South and Abra's school (Pre-K across the school, aka Global Early Learning - which we know from a family friend is also amazing. These schools are right across the street and partner with each other) all perform a series of songs and a play. It is very impressive! And food is provided as well. Our son is happy and thriving at this school. Maggie and the teachers truly care for each child and you can feel it. Each student gets a special birthday party with gifts. Communication is great since Maggie and the teachers know each kid well. The student to teacher ratio is low and the tuition is more than fair (low overhead as a home daycare). There's also a lot of little things too that just makes life easy for parents. Maggie provides muddy buddies for rainy days, sun hats for sunny days, and we even get to leave our water bottle at school which gets washed every day. We could not be happier with our experience at Global Early Learning South. If you're looking for a nurturing, engaging, and caring environment for your child, I highly recommend it. She wakes up everyday ready for school because here their philosophy is learning through play. Kids at this age needs that and to be grounded to nature and the outdoors. She has brought back daily random facts and things I've never learned before. During the "school year" they do seat work and she has learned to write the alphabet in upper and lower case, count to 100+, and even phonetically sound out words to help her start reading. During "camp weeks" they have themed programs that make the weeks exciting like horsemanship week, or kids in the kitchen, or life on the farm. We are so grateful we got a spot here and we hope to have our son back in here in the future! If you are looking for a preschool to put your child in, you came to the right place.

It has been so obvious how much they truly care for every kid. The state of the property can only be described as "magical". The children have the opportunity to play and learn outside, gardening, taking care of animals, and learning real-life skills through play. Our son has grown academically, learning to read and write...as well as just as a person - learning patience, sharing, regulating his emotions, etc. They also focus on healthy foods and habits and teaching a good foundation for how to take of your body and the earth. Something that matters a lot to me in addition to all the other things is cleanliness. The property inside and out is extremely well cared for and safe. All kids wash their hands on arrival and many times throughout the day - and they always keep parents in the loop if something is "going around". I would recommend Village Learning to anyone who wants a magical upbringing for their kids...a true home away from home for them.

There are so many wonderful things to say about LPW-B but first and foremost will always be the dedication of the teachers and staff to the kiddos. Many teachers have been there for over 10 years and that certainly speaks to their love for the job and how they are treated by the administration (just ask anyone in childcare, esp. from a larger chain). They're also very accommodating to your child's needs -- my son has many food allergies and also requires the use of a feeding tube. The teachers & admin had zero qualms about providing him with his tubes feeds (twice daily at specific times). This was a huge relief as first time parents who really struggled getting the appropriate nutrition to their kiddo and then had to worry about food allergies and whether or not medical accommodations could be made. Finally, the monthly tuition is incredibly affordable. For both of my children, the monthly tuition is equivalent to my friend's one child at one of the nearby larger chains. The only "negative" I will mention is that if you really like the idea of having real-time updates via an app, LPW-B is more like your traditional elementary school where you'll get an update at the end of the day.
