So I yanked her...The silver lining is don't let one bad SOR ruin it for the others, We moved her to SOR in Farmingdale, and Rock Underground in Commack and she's loves them both.. you have options people make this place your last resort. Follow up to the below response. House band had zero to do with us leaving , in fact we had no issue with the reasoning she did not get in. I'm glad I listened to my intuition because when I looked up, I saw a sign.. literally. In red and white letters it read "NY Music Garage" and below it a window decal which exclaimed "A Different Kind of Music Store." As soon as I walked in it was clear that those words were true. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. I had initially planned to just scope out their collection and perhaps jam, while getting to know the store, but with so many affordable goodies around, I just had to shop. The awesome fellas there helped me pick up a perfectly fitting guitar slide, a strap lock and even a homemade guitar-shaped cutting board!! It's made of walnut, shaped like a Les Paul and sealed in food-grade sealant... how cool is that?! They even had two other variations, a tele and and a strat. After all that shopping, I was ready to try some guitars. They kindly guided me to a private practice room, which had plenty of space to move around, several fun amps and phenomenal acoustics. Looking around the store, it was clear they carried an awesome collection of new, used and vintage axes... all at fair & reasonable prices too! I'm absolutely stoked with my haul and will definitely be back next time I'm out in Huntington! Thanks fellas!

I would say that performance was definitely better than the Passion of Christ movie. For the conference, all the staff here are very stiff and forceful in trying to get us to go to our sessions. I felt violated and disrespected as a guest because they tried to push me into a classroom they were teaching in. They did this with several other people at the conference. I honestly would not recommend this place. I was originally going to rate it as five stars, but after what I've perceived and experienced, I'm giving this place just 1 star only because I can't give 0 stars.
