Not only is she an extremely talented photographer, she made us feel comfortable and removed stress on our big day instead of adding it. She was extremely personable and professional throughout the entire process. I had a guest go out of their way on my wedding day to tell me I hired a great photographer! She was never intrusive, took care of all the poses, and did exactly what we asked her to. She also charged fair prices that provide an excellent value compared with others in the area. I looked at many portfolios before I hired someone and hers was by far the best. Our photographs however turned out beautiful and look like we paid much much more. There was nothing cheap about them! I highly recommend you take a look at her stunning portfolio and meet her in person. Our photographs totally lived up to all our expectations. I had thought about not hiring a photographer and taking the DIY route but now Lynette's beautiful photos are what I have left to remember my whirlwind day so I am so glad I hired Lynette instead. Both my husband and I loved them, as well as both of our mothers!! They look natural and lovely (and I normally hate looking at photos of myself!) Thank you Lynette!!

We scheduled to meet face to face 3 weeks later since I live in Michigan and I had to make travel plans. In our emails she confirmed with me twice that she had put me in her calendar. Literally hours before I was getting on the flight to meet with her she emails me to tell me that she gave my date to someone else. She knew I was flying in from another state and she knew we were scheduled to meet. I signed up for yelp just to write this review because I really thought you all should know!

Here's a list of the great things about Alison, since I'm merely restating what others have written and want to do something snazzy to be different! - Alison is the best at communication. From the first email we shared, I have never waited more than a day for a response. Even when she was on her own honeymoon, she managed to send me a "Ack, I am out of town! But, when I get back I will send you the pricing info! " email. That is so helpful to a bride who is planning at all hours of the night (because, honestly, what bride doesn't plan at 2am?) - Alison is organized and thorough. I got all the information about pricing, albums, expectations and requests up front. Our initial meeting with Alison left us feeling completely comfortable in her hands since she was on top of her game. I never had to worry once we decided to utilize her talents! - Alison makes the pre-wedding and day of wedding run so smoothly. She helped me craft a pristine wedding schedule of events and was an expert at keeping us on track during the actual wedding without being bossy or pushy. She arrived on time and ready to shoot and kept the mood light and worry free! She even reminded me to eat (thanks Alison!) so I wouldn't pass out when walking down the aisle. She brought snacks with her, in case I didn't have any. During the day, she blended into the background and I barely even noticed her stealthily snapping shots during the ceremony and dinner. - Alison got my proofs back to me in a month and boy, are they STUNNING! The final product from our day is exactly what we wanted -- relaxed, candid, bright and thoughtful images of the best day of our lives. She caught every detail, every smile, every bouquet of flowers and edited the group down to 550 of the most beautiful pictures. I've just been skipping through them for the 5th time in a day and I am completely in love. Thrilled doesn't even begin to describe what I am about these pictures! I can't wait to pick out the photos I want for our album and work with Alison to create that heirloom piece. I'm sure her album work is as professional, creative and comprehensive as she has been throughout the wedding process. Bottom Line: Choose Alison Bank - First Comes Love Wedding Photography. You will not be disappointed.

I am reluctant to write this review because I don't want to contact Rosy and have her booked up but…read moreher photography skills are too good to keep quiet about.... I met Rosy through a friend and when I was looking for amazing photographers for my daughter's 1st birthday, our mutual friend recommended her. I booked the shoot during a blizzard but Rosy was there and excited to do our shoot. Her studio gives off a fun, retro vibe and exudes Rosy's crisp, clean photography style. My daughter was TERRIBLE during this 30 minute shoot. I thought the pictures would come out blurry due to her all-out craziness but when I got the proofs I was blown away. Rosy not only managed to capture beautiful pictures of my baby girl, but pictures that capture her personality. I don't know how she worked her magic to get these amazing shots but she moved around with my daughter and honored the craziness that comes with a toddler, which I was so grateful for. I have most recently done a family photo shoot that also included a few engagement pictures at the DIA. Rosy knew exactly what style I was going for and knew where to take us to get the best shots. We now have a 1 year old and a 4 year old but she again managed to snap the perfect shots between toddler melt downs and run offs. We selected one of the hottest and humid days of May but our pictures are nothing short of magazine worthy and again, capture our family's personality and bond. She is simply amazing at what she does and adds a sense of calmness that is appreciated when you are preoccupied with perfectly capturing your most important life moments.

With my fiance living several thousand miles away, we had set up a week and a half of all-wedding madness with appointments around the clock including one with Silver Lights Studio who had been recommended to us by some friends. Setting up the appointment was easy. Rosy and Shaun are located quite a while away from us in Allen Park but we arrived to a cute studio with vintage touches and bright accents - it's a happy place. We discussed our needs, our expectations, pricing and everything included in their packages. I'll be the first one admit that I am not an easy person to please but impressing my Dad is even more than a challenge. He's extremely quiet and doesn't seem to express his opinion but he liked their drive and their creativity, the brightness of the colors and their all around-fun attitude. Their albums are of high quality, their hourly rates are fair and they're okay with shooting outside of their 'quirky fun' style - they're flexible and open to ideas. After weighing our options, we signed on the dotted line. We took our engagement photos with them a few weeks ago at the DIA which is of particular interest to me. We took photos outside and inside and both Rosy and Shaun came along with plenty of ideas for our shoot (which we were happy to give a 'yay' or 'nay' to) and the open-mindedness to take a few photos in areas we had in mind (like in front of the Diego Rivera mural which is a personal favorite of mine). Although we were somewhat stiff at times they made us feel relaxed and open and we ended up having a lot of fun. They're a new studio and always so busy with clients but they take the time to address my concerns, answer my questions and take notes on my ideas even though my wedding is next year. We can't wait for them to shoot our wedding next year - I'll be sure to report back!
