Any sort of neurodivergence that is outwardly perceivable WILL be targeted and you will be pressured to conform by administration. This happened to me and countless others to the point some were pulled out of school due to the severity of this and if you DARE advocate for yourself, you will be forced into silence. Another issue was the extreme lack of diversity. Caucasian is 90% of the student body and staff, which caused feelings of alienation. The one good thing about this school were most of the teachers. Most of them really did or do try (did as in a large portion of staff were fired or resigned due to grievances with administration) but I fear this is not nearly enough to be worth it. I find this school a disgrace to Maria Montessori and an utter mutilation of her teachings.

Located in the knobs is one of the most beautiful catholic church's in southern Indiana…read more St. Marys opened the new church a few years back, however the old building remains resulting in a beautiful story of faith. You can go to the St Marys website for mass schedules and parish events. Their is ample parking for those attending and handicapped parking as well. The lots are big and there are steps leading from the parking lots to the church. I would recommend dropping those with walking difficulties at the door. They have a very nice recreation area and one heck of a basketball gym. If you are ever in the knobs and need to go to mass, I highly recommend St Marys

I was at this school as a substitute teacher a few months ago. I was amazed at how NASTY acting…read moremany of the teachers were, and not to mention, the GROSS attitude of the Principal. Many of the teachers passed right by me in the hallways, and never said "Hello" "How are you" "Hi" "Good morning" or anything else. They never smiled, and some looked me right in the face and turned their heads while passing me in the hallways. They are just plain pathetic! They seldom ask if you need any help when you are a substitute. I will NEVER go back. That school is simply DEPRESSING and the environment is unwelcoming. I couldn't wait to leave. The vibe in the school is sickening to your stomach. Half the teachers seem as if they are oppressed, depressed, unhappy, and evil. Now, let me talk about the Principal. Not one time did she ever greet me, say hello, or even said "Thank you for coming." As a matter of fact, she stood right next to me as I was checking out one day, and NEVER said a word. She acted as if I didn't even exist, and she started talking to others. In my opinion, she acts like she is a GOD at Thomas Jefferson, not knowing that her nasty, unprofessional, disgusting attitude towards others makes her look like a complete jerk!! The students at the school had better attitudes than the teachers. No wonder they always have a hard time getting substitute teachers there. Again, I will never go back.

This is the saddest looking cemetery I've ever seen. Only a week past Memorial Day and all of the…read moreflowers were thrown away. You can't put any artificial flowers that might last longer than a few days on the graves even if the grave has a vase on it. Because it would be "too much trouble" for someone to pick up the flowers that might blow out during a storm, and when they try to mow over them, it messes up the lawn equipment. "Mow over them".... because people have so little respect for the deceased that they would actually MOW OVER their memorial flowers. Seriously?!? Also, there are giant patches of brown dirt instead of grass. Not for newly dug graves, but by my mother who has been gone for 17 years.... because they're too lazy and cheap to put down some grass seed. Not to mention there are cave-ins all over the place. Again, not around new graves.... everywhere. It's not only tacky but a serious trip and fall risk for people trying to visit their loved ones. The reason given for all of this is that they only have part time staffing.... my mother didn't pay part time money for this burial plot. If you didn't plan to do long term upkeep, then maybe you shouldn't have started a cemetery here in the first place. Get it together. Seriously disturbed by the whole thing.

The cafeteria is a social place for the teachers to gossip. No supervision at all towards the children while eating. Injuries happen with no incident reports.
