She responded super fast and although it was last minute, she was able to fit me in on a Saturday. I prefer studio shots and her studio is HOOKED UP. She has all the cute props, baby outfits, headbands, pillows, backdrops and wraps in 100 color schemes- literally hundreds! I was also able to bring some of my own baby outfits. They are a husband and wife team so you're actually getting two photographers at a good price. We met them at their house and I was a little hesitant at first. Nothing they did, I was just a bit worried about hiring individuals and not some photography studio. They assured me they had plenty of experience. I am so glad we went with them. Joelyn was quick to respond to any and all of my emails. When my daughter scheduled her engagement photos, Joelyn and Doug arrived early at the location. They took fantastic engagement pictures of my daughter and fiance. From that point on, we knew we found the right photographer. On the day of the wedding, we told them what time to be at the church and they arrived a few minutes early (coming from Cypress to Sugar Land). They took great care in getting the correct lighting and poses as my daughter was getting dressed. They never pressure my daughter to pose for anything she didn't want. They took time with the first look pictures and made sure all the family shots were good. If they noticed something wrong, they'd take another photo. At the reception, they took several pictures and honor any guest requests. It was so easy working with them. We actually felt so comfortable with them, we had them eat inside the reception room with all the guests instead of a room reserved for the vendors. I cannot recommend them enough.
