We got estimates from over half a dozen contractors and L & S was not only very competitive, but could start sooner than everyone else. We ended up doing a half paver patio, half artificial turf for the back yard which included some retaining wall work. They also installed a gravel path to the back yard with paver stepping stones. The work was done in 5 days and his team was very courteous and friendly (especially to my 4 year old daughter who would wave from the window). As with most projects, issues arose, but Santiago was very transparent with them and provided solutions to get the job done right. L & S did such a good job that the neighborhood is considering them for future work and regular yard maintenance.

He was able to take my ideas and envision how to make them happen. He understands how to make something stylish and modern, not just get the job done. They were able to start work quickly and had the whole yard fixed within a few weeks. His Dad and the rest of the workers did a very professional job on all of the stone work. Everything looks beautiful and long lasting. Rene checked in with us several times throughout the project to make sure that we were happy with work. They even redid some of the stonework when it wasn't quite what I was looking for. They went above and beyond to make sure that we felt our money was well spent. Their estimate was more expensive than some of the others I received, however Rene worked with us to stay near our budget. It also did not change after the project started. We paid exactly what we agreed upon in the beginning. I honestly feel like it was well worth it because the other companies I contacted didn't seem to understand exactly what I wanted and they also gave vague estimates (some without actually measuring). With LRA landscaping, I knew exactly what we were going to pay and the quality of their work is outstanding. I'm so thankful we went with their company. They did such a good job initially even though the communication was bad I figured I would hire them for regular service. They were charging me a $270.00 a service to come out and mow a tiny back yard and do weed pulling. I found out later that tree, hedge, and garden bed maintenance was not part of the service and that was all additional. I paid them to do more work and again just completely fell short. Now the quality is also getting bad and they keep asking for more money even when some of their last projects here are not working (a gate). Also I have requested numerous times for the em to stop filling up my yard waste bin with their other clients yard waste. The city won't pick it up because it's too heavy and Renee week after week continues to tell me it will get emptied and never does.
