I am leaving this review to warn others about this company's highly aggressive, unsolicited marketing tactics. We have never reached out to this business or provided them with our contact information, yet they have been contacting my partner daily to push services. It appears they are actively scraping public government or property records to cold-call local residents. We keep blocking the phone numbers they use, but they just call right back from different lines to continue the daily harassment. Despite making it clear that we are not interested, the invasive disruptions do not stop. This behavior is predatory and incredibly unprofessional. read more

I found L&S Landscaping here on Yelp along with a couple others and got quotes. I decided to go with this crew and am very happy I did. Santiago and his crew did an amazing job on my project! I had some drainage issues along the back of my yard and decided to have a French drain and raised bed around the perimeter of my yard. These guys came in and dug out about a foot or more of the bad dirt, installed a drain and erected stone blocks for the raised bed and filled in with good quality soil and mulch. The end result looks awesome and I look forward to spending many nights in the back yard looking at how nice it is. The crew worked hard every day, showed up on time and were respectful of my property. Santiago is very knowledgeable, has great ideas and communicates well. I emailed him several questions and suggestions, I got prompt responses back even over the weekend. The crew is very friendly and leaves your place neat and tidy at the end of every work day. We got a new paver walkway, retaining walls, steps leading to the backyard, new paver driveway and new paver patio. The project took about 5 weeks to complete. Diligent, hardworking, flexible, and responsive. Santiago and his crew worked with us on a large project installing a totally new front and back yard including a cedar fence, retaining wall, concrete paths, new irrigation system, turfstone installation, edging, flagstone walkway, and plantings. With a project this big, some bumps in the road were inevitable but these were handled in stride by Santiago. They were eager to please and confirmed with us several times before installing various components to make sure it was what we wanted. When we wanted to change things, they were flexible, helpful, and responsive. Troubleshooting as we encountered problems was easy and he was very reasonable to talk to. I do have to remove one star just specifically because of poor expectation setting regarding time-frame. We hired them in September and were ready to start as soon as they were available. They initially said late October and took a deposit. Late October came around and we were told early November... this delay continued a few more times until eventually they got going on our project in early December. I did realize that once they were on our project, that the delay was probably because they were working hard to finish up a previous project and make sure everything was right! I do want to be transparent here, though, so people know what to expect. I have some nice before photos and once I get the chance to take some "after" pics of the yard with the grass coming in this spring I will try to come back and update this post. read more

With limited ability to travel during COVID, we decided to finally invest in some landscaping and hardscaping for our small yard. We got estimates from over half a dozen contractors and L & S was not only very competitive, but could start sooner than everyone else. We ended up doing a half paver patio, half artificial turf for the back yard which included some retaining wall work. They also installed a gravel path to the back yard with paver stepping stones. The work was done in 5 days and his team was very courteous and friendly (especially to my 4 year old daughter who would wave from the window). As with most projects, issues arose, but Santiago was very transparent with them and provided solutions to get the job done right. L & S did such a good job that the neighborhood is considering them for future work and regular yard maintenance. read more

On June 6, 2024 I submitted a request to L&S Landscape for a quote. They sent me a message the same day asking for my phone number so they could contact me to discuss my project. I sent them my phone number, waited for 13 days, and never heard from them. So on June 16 I sent another message to them to let them know I had never heard back from anyone at their company, and that I was still interested in getting a quote. It's now July 6 and I still have not heard from them and so I'm sure I never will. read more

Our patio and walkways are amazing now!!! Our home had gravel walkways and the end of the patio had a half circle with two half circle steps, that were also gravel. We wanted these areas filled in with pavers. We got a couple of estimates, but L & S Landscaping was the only one that provided a detailed estimate that included exactly what services were to be provided. We chose them because Santiago seemed very knowledgeable, was personable, and provided the detailed estimate; although higher than others. We are SO happy we chose L & S! Santiago discovered our patio sloped uphill toward the lawn instead of being level, so suggested we redo the half circle/retaining wall and make it a rectangle, along with the steps. What a transformation!!! The crew showed up at 8am on the designated start day and got right to work. I needed to bring in six yards of crushed rock 100 feet down into my yard from the street. By using my 6cf wheelbarrow I'd have 40 dangerous round trips on a 22% slope. These guys brought in a power buggy capable of handling 1/2 yard in each load making this a quick job. Of course I had prepared the area in advance which was huge since I installed drainage, irrigation and a 36' x 3' retaining wall.
