I have been attending Brazilian Jujitsu Classes here for almost a year now and I can honestly say…read morethis has been my favorite fitness/training establishment. I wrestled in the past and I tried many Jujitsu establishments before I found this one. The coaches make the classes engaging and they break down the moves, so anyone at any skill level would be able to understand. Every training partner is friendly and welcoming. This place breeds positivity. Aloisio Silva also participated in tournaments/completion which gives you the option to scratch that competitive itch without making it mandatory for the students. My daughter isn't old enough to participate in the kids courses, but I often will see the kids Bjj classes end before the adult ones begin. It looks like a safe and fun environment. I will be enrolling my little one when she's grown some. If you're looking for a place to train I would highly recommend coming here!

Awesome place and Awesome coache. My wife found this place for my daughter and she's loved it ever…read moresince. She has been there for a few months that even I decided to also join. Coach Eric's instructions are very broken down and easy to follow. I never felt that he's pressured anyone or made anyone feel incapable. He actually has a very opposite effect and makes you feel like you can learn it all with time and practice. I'm glad my wife found this place. My daughter has improved a lot during her time here. She's just competed in the NAGA novice tournament and brought home first place in no-GI and second in GI. Really proud of her and the coaches for teaching her so well.

This place resides in a quiet area, has clean restrooms, onsite vending machine, tiny parking lot,…read moreand a huge floor matt. The gal that does the registration can't seem to explain why the registration, down payment, are ridiculously high, so you are left pondering why are you going to invest over 2000k in a contract two day 40min training camp whose head coach by the name Story can't even introduce himself? The head coach left a single purple belt student alone with 15 kids- most who were there for the very first time- so the whole free trial became a huge WTF experience. My kid kept being tossed by another experience kid, so naturally, he was a human throwing bag. I ended enrolling my kids at Gracie's Barra by Wilshire, 1000 time's better than this place and cheaper.

Stay away from this gym and all the tournaments that they host…read more They hosted a terrible tournament that turned out to be a huge money grab. They have another tournament in Oct, but do not go especially if you are a women. Not only were there not enough women competitors, but I didn't have anyone in my division and they still refused to refund me. The same thing happened to another girl who was in a weight class below me. They simply forgot about her until she reminded them that she would like to participate in a different division. A lot of guys got robbed of their matches too. Some waited for hours only to have 1 match! What was even more tacky is that they had to pull out their own "referees" to help participate in those competition because there wasn't enough people. The owner, Chris Story, (can't believe someone like him is a black belt with his personality) was extremely condescending when I flat out said that I don't want to negotiate, I just want my refund. He offered credit, but honestly, hell no. We won't be back. Terrible facility: in the middle of PO'DUNK USA (nowhere), no A/C, no water fountain, no on-site medical supplies They do not honor their own rules: - Some people had to weigh in with gi's on and some people didn't - They did not have double elimination. Some people had it, and others only had 1 match. They guaranteed double elimination but half the people in my academy got short changed and only 1 match Something has to be said about a business who is so short sighted and not willing to refund customers. All they want is your money, but I hope their brand and reputation will eventually catch up with them. I know many of us won't be returning to compete at his shitty tournaments.
