They breached the terms of the contract and the owner's attitude afterwards was defensive and rude, she continued to speak over me and even used the excuse she had another event that evening, as if that made a difference. They did not set the tables as they promised, they forgot cups and flatware, did not bring appetizers we had ordered and paid for, and blatantly refused to cut and serve the wedding cake, which was also previously agreed to . On top of everything else we had to reach out to the owner , they not once sought us out at the wedding or contacted us afterwards. We had to request a refund on the appetizers not delivered , since they didn't even offer that. If you are planning a special event do yourself a favor and do not hire Halfacre Catering.
