This is a review just on the weekend brunch that they do here. It was so cute and cozy inside and Sara was so sweet. It is a little pricey for brunch, but it's a big meal! It's a set menu but when you call to reserve you let her know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. The meal for the day my mom and I went including a spinach and tomato quiche; hashbrown casserole, fruit and a pop over as well as water, orange juice and coffee available. Dessert was a chocolate and peanut butter crepe cake. The presentation of the food itself was beautiful, but the table and decor of the place was also adorable. I spent a lovely night at Grady House Bed & Breakfast with my mom and sister for my birthday. It was the best experience! This is an adorable B&B with the cutest interior and exterior areas. The inside is so cozy and filled with so much charm and history. There are so many interesting antiques and things to look at. There is even homemade goodies to snack on, made by the amazing Sara, while you chat in the den by the fireplace. There's tea, coffee, and waters to grab too. We also took these treats to the outside area, where we relaxed under the gazebo. It's just perfect. The room was great too. It's everything you need. There's also a great selection of books and games to use; however, we three have the gift of gab so we never got to use the nice selection of items. Now, on to the wonderful owners. Sara and Scott were fantastic! They are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Sara made us the most delicious breakfast. It was so unique, tasty, and beautiful. It felt so special to experience it on my birthday. Sara was also kind enough to show us the house next door, which was built in the 1800s, and give us a quick history of the place. She went above and beyond. They also have two amazing staff members that helped us check in. I can't say enough wonderful things about our time here. I would definitely recommend! read more

This was an amazing BnB! So nice and relaxing. We came up for a weekend trip to go tubing. Debbie was able to score a room here. It is usually all booked. We were greeted by the Bobbie and shown around. She is so much fun and so helpful. The house is beautiful and unique. We had the yellow room on the ground floor. It was so nice. It had everything we needed and felt so cozy. The breakfast part was so good !! Bobbie alternated between savory and sweet. Our first day was sweet which I am not a big fan of sweet breakfasts but this was so yummy and really got me going for our day on the river tubing. I wish I had taken pictures! My favorite part of the BnB was the front porch and specifically the rocking chairs. Each morning I took a cup of coffee from the kitchen and sat out there. It was almost better than tubing down the springs! Then in the evening after a full day of touring we enjoyed a nice glass of wine. Incredible! I must add how Bobbie went out of her way to make our stay special. She had a family that could not make their reservations and 'donated' full tickets for 4 to go tubing. She had already gave them to another couple but help us make arrangements with them to go as well. It was so awesome! Amazing guest service! This is an amazing place that is professionally maintained with care. It is a cozy home away from home that is walking distance to the downtown area. We are definitely planning to return! read more

We booked a night at the Grady House on a whim because we had never stayed in a BnB before. Grady House and Sara and Scott exceeded our wildest expectations. They were such gracious hosts meeting us at the door and giving us a tour of Grady House. They made us feel like we could just be at home while we were there. We came in too late to enjoy the gardens Friday evening, but we did drink our coffee out there Saturday morning with their adorable dog. We stayed in the Navy Room. It was very pretty and well appointed. There is a private bath with a claw foot tub. There is also a sitting room/parlor adjoining the room which is also your private guest space. The bed was very comfortable! The house was also kept at a very comfortable temperature at night. Even though the house was full, we felt there was plenty of privacy on the second floor where most of the guest rooms are. We did not hear any of the other guests Friday night. Breakfast was served at 9 am Saturday morning in the dining room laid with China and glassware. There was fresh coffee brewed around 7:30 am the morning we were there. Breakfast was served beautifully plated by Scott and Sara, who were dressed to the nines. Not only was the customer service over the top, the food was out of this world. The French eggs, sausage, and cheesy potatoes were perfectly cooked and served with a variety of fresh fruits. She also served the most incredible pecan coated French toast I have ever tasted. Sara makes everything herself! She truly is a remarkable lady, friendly, warm, and very talented as a hostess and chef. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, I highly recommend going to stay here. We will be back! read more

The Grady House is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We stayed in the Red Room and it could not have been more perfect. Sara had champagne and strawberries waiting in our room and our breakfast the next day was gourmet quality and crafted with loving care. The front porch offered a great swing and the back courtyard is like a lovely fairy garden. It would be the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot for engagement or wedding pics. Went with a group of friends for Sunday brunch and WOW it was amazing. Got a tour of the house and grounds then we sat down to eat. Mini frittata, bacon, yogurt and fruit parfaits, home fries, coffee, OJ and amazing service. Menu changes each weekend but have been 3 times and never disappointed. This is my personal heaven and cannot wait to go back and stay in the Red room for two nights in late Sept. We stayed in the Green room and just fell in love with The Grady House. The best breakfast I have ever had, beautiful atmosphere, and kind owners. Just minutes from the springs. Paul and Lucie are such good people. I wish there were more places with people like this. Our very first time at a B&B, let me tell you Bobbie and Steve were very warm and welcoming, such an absolute delight. You feel as if you are in your own home and they expect you to treat yourself to it like it actually were. Our stay was completely exquisite. The house was very clean, cozy and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the entire house, gardens, host seemed more like family, and the history is very interesting. Stayed in the Red Room for two nights before and during Hurricane Irma. I can't say enough about this room to give it justice...absolutely beautiful and the garden tub was too die for. We honestly did not want to leave. We will definitely be back under different circumstances. Nothing short of spectacular. We passed through high springs on our honeymoon and the Grady House was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are a really nice couple who make a breakfast that your cardiologist wouldn't allow. There are some beautiful gardens on the property worth exploring. We rented out a whole house, which included a little kitchen and a piano! It was all easy and nice and made our vacation so relaxing. The Grady house is the highlight of our trips to the Gainsville area. On our first stay, we were going to Bush Gardens the 2nd day, Lucies breakfast was so wonderful the first day that I broke a long standing tradition of being at the park when it opened! This is a most amazing bed and breakfast.. It is a lovely old home with bedrooms/sitting rooms/private baths beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and reasonably priced.. We were just there for a few days as a result of evacuating from a beach town in NE FL 2 days before Hurricane Matthew hit our area. Therefore, stressed wouldn't begin to describe how we were feeling. The owners, Lucie and Paul, were very welcoming. Eating Lucie's brunches at her beautifully set table with china, etc. was better than being served in a 5 star restaurant. Paul served the food while entertaining the "refugees" as he called us with wonderful story telling. An attorney by profession, he is really a stand up comic. The house is in High Springs, FL, a lovely small town near springs (Ginnie, etc.) and great opportunities for kayaking, hiking, etc. Unfortunately, we were glued to the television to try to assess storm damage. We plan to go back soon under less stressful conditions. My husband and I cannot recommend The Grady House more highly. read more

Steve and I had a delightful time for our first impromptu retirement get away. What a perfect place to go! We were greeted warmly by Bobbie, the owner, she gave us a short tour of the common rooms and showed us our darling Yellow Room. Bobbie was kind enough to get us a reservation in and extremely busy and highly recommend local restaurant for dinner. We had a restful night's sleep in our cosy room. In the morning we were treated to one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a B and B. Bobbie served us a delicious fruit parfait; a divine French toast casserole that had plump blueberries, walnuts and pecans with maple syrup; crisp and tasty breakfast potatoes and ham. The Grady House is the nicest (house AND people!) B & B I've ever stayed in. Bobbie is a joy to visit with and everything in the room is clean and neat as a pin. The bed and pillows - you have plenty to choose from :-) - are comfortable. It's quiet and a bit of a respite from the run-of-the-mill hotel rooms I'm usually in on my business travel. I can't recommend this B & B enough - even if the house wasn't beautiful (which it is), Bobbie is enough of a reason to stay there! I've stayed there 4 times and will stay another 5 before my project is finished and I won't be traveling that way. Even if someone told me I could get a room less expensively elsewhere, I wouldn't switch. I will miss The Grady House! read more

My girlfriend and I took a weekend getaway to High Springs. We wanted to make the most of our weekend, and since we were only staying for one night we decided to get to The Grady House earlier than check-in. Paul graciously welcomed us in and we instantly were made to feel right at home. Not only were Paul and Lucie helpful and friendly with restaurant and activity recommendations, but the house itself was warm and cozy, with wonderful accomodations and a beautiful backyard full of tables and gardens.Lucie cooked an absolutely delicious breakfast that made our bellies smile. Also, they were happy to accomodate our vegetarian lifestyle. If you are looking for a relaxing adventure, the Mill Creek Horse Farm is just a short drive away where you can feed and pet retired and abandoned horses, which Paul filled us in on. Great food, soft bed, wonderful company, and adorable dalmations. Cannot wait to visit again. read more
