This is my third breakfast here at Grady House and they didn't disappoint. Sara, the main cook and owner made our meal absolutely amazing. We even had a to go box and all of us ate ours for lunch too. FYI her Cinnamon Rolls are delicious!

I spent a lovely night at Grady House Bed & Breakfast with my mom and sister for my birthday. It was the best experience! This is an adorable B&B with the cutest interior and exterior areas. The inside is so cozy and filled with so much charm and history. There are so many interesting antiques and things to look at. There is even homemade goodies to snack on, made by the amazing Sara, while you chat in the den by the fireplace. There's tea, coffee, and waters to grab too. We also took these treats to the outside area, where we relaxed under the gazebo. It's just perfect. The room was great too. It's everything you need. There's also a great selection of books and games to use; however, we three have the gift of gab so we never got to use the nice selection of items. Now, on to the wonderful owners. Sara and Scott were fantastic! They are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Sara made us the most delicious breakfast. It was so unique, tasty, and beautiful. It felt so special to experience it on my birthday. Sara was also kind enough to show us the house next door, which was built in the 1800s, and give us a quick history of the place. She went above and beyond. They also have two amazing staff members that helped us check in. I can't say enough wonderful things about our time here. I would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing BnB! So nice and relaxing. We came up for a weekend trip to go tubing. Debbie was able to score a room here. It is usually all booked. We were greeted by the Bobbie and shown around. She is so much fun and so helpful. The house is beautiful and unique. We had the yellow room on the ground floor. It was so nice. It had everything we needed and felt so cozy. The breakfast part was so good !! Bobbie alternated between savory and sweet. Our first day was sweet which I am not a big fan of sweet breakfasts but this was so yummy and really got me going for our day on the river tubing. I wish I had taken pictures! My favorite part of the BnB was the front porch and specifically the rocking chairs. Each morning I took a cup of coffee from the kitchen and sat out there. It was almost better than tubing down the springs! Then in the evening after a full day of touring we enjoyed a nice glass of wine. Incredible! I must add how Bobbie went out of her way to make our stay special. She had a family that could not make their reservations and 'donated' full tickets for 4 to go tubing. She had already gave them to another couple but help us make arrangements with them to go as well. It was so awesome! Amazing guest service! This is an amazing place that is professionally maintained with care. It is a cozy home away from home that is walking distance to the downtown area. We are definitely planning to return!

    Gorgeous gardens

Went with the family for a weekend getaway and from start to finish couldn't be more pleased. Clean, extremely comfortable, well priced and the breakfast... all I can say is WOW! Delicious. Fantastic hosts, beautiful gardens, and for someone who doesn't sleep well I had the best two nights sleep I've had in years. I could live there! Didn't want to leave! 100% from start to finish. I travel a lot for business wish they could franchise "The Grady House" in every state.

from the front porch swing...have a drink and take a short walk to dinner after at Great Outdoors!

Paul and Lucie are so inviting and the breakfast Lucie makes cannot be beat. We went to the Itchnetucknee after and didnt need lunch till 3! It is nice to be so close to the itchentucknee,,, you can get there early to get your spot and not have to wake up at 5:00 Beautifully manicured yards/garden + elegant and cozy on the inside.

The room was spacious and well appointed. We were very disappointed when we checked in. The girl at the desk barely acknowledged me when we walked in. Did't even ask me if I was an Honors member. I was glad we checked in early with the Hilton app so I didn't have to deal with her. The Manager needs to give her a course in Customer Relations. We were also disappointed that we weren't told that breakfast was only until 9:00 am not the usual 10:00 am so when we got there at 9:00 it was closed. Fortunately, the morning front desk lady made us togo bags full of goodies. Seems the owner has changed the usual Hampton breakfast closing time from 10 to 9. I don't think it is going to be a welcome change.

Alachua was 20 minutes from the park plus this hotel was cheaper than any hotel I researched in Lake City. I used my Hilton app to get into my room and skipped the front desk (the line was long). Our room was nice. It was clean and I loved the modern new look of everything. The bed was comfortable and I slept pretty well (except for my friends snoring lol). I had breakfast before checking out Saturday which included fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. There was plenty of parking and we were able to walk to dinner. I would stay here again if in the area!

It's in a safe location and 1 minute from a Publix grocery store. A very quiet area. We were in town for a softball tournament and the hotel was 25 minutes away from Newberry which felt like 10 minutes driving. The breakfast was really good. Sausage, biscuits and gravy one day, bacon, eggs and your standard cereal, bagels etc. Definitely worth a visit. The pool is a really nice addition as well as the hot tub (unfortunately it was not hot at all), both are outside. There is a sitting area with a fireplace but it didn't not work. Maybe the propane was out. Our room was the standard 2 queen bedroom. Very clean in every aspect. Our sink needed to be checked as it filled pretty quickly and the toilet ran until you put the handle down after use. Not a big deal but just FYI. Now I was disappointed in the television I not having any apps to watch. It was the standard cable TV. I guess I'm spoiled. Other than that, I would definitely stay again and you should too!!

"This place must have pimpin'...in the 50s."…read more This is a small old out dated mom and pop motel. Room cost about 55 per night when we stayed here. Some rooms are better than others, whereas some have really old 14" TVs, while others have newer small flat screen TVs. Good variety of channels and clear picture even on the old TV, but no HBO. The dressers are old and the mattress is fairly hard. You could literally hurt yourself if you jumped on the bed. When we checked in at 10pm, the room was so COLD and we had to turn the heat on. It took at least an hour or two for the room to warm up to a comfortable temperature. I wish they would warm it up ahead of time if you made reservations. The best part was that the rooms and bathrooms were all fairly clean. No bugs and no terrible smell. We stayed for two nights and they cleaned the rooms when we left to paddle the nearby Santa Fe river. Great location near the kayak outfitters and launch site to the river. Popular diving spot nearby as well. The best part is that all the rooms feature a FULL SIZE fridge. Like taller than me. Small microwaves and a tiny coffee maker, but the coffee they supply isn't very good. However, the Kangaroo gas station across the street has surprisingly great coffee. A-OK for the price.

As they escorted us to our table, they explained the layout and all the food options available, which was very helpful. They also provided table service for drinks and clearing plates, which made everything feel very organized and relaxing. The food was excellent -- the prime rib was absolutely delicious. I also loved that the desserts were bite-sized, so you could try a variety without overdoing it. The brunch was also very well priced, especially for the quality and variety offered, and they even had a kids buffet which was a nice touch for families. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice brunch outing.

A manager, Ari, was delightful, giving us a summary of what we are offered as guests of the hotel. Our room was #366, which we would soon discover was a handicap-accessible room. This was not a problem for us, but since my wife has a 25+ year history as a case manager for people with physical and mental challenges, she assessed the room and took joy in pointing out its deficiencies for the "definitely abled" population. The major one was how furniture placement creates challenges for a person who uses a wheelchair or motorized chair to access the bed. No way to climb, slide, or be lifted into the bed, certainly not around the sharp-cornered desk. Now, as for the bed itself. The mattress has seen its best days around 20 years ago. Springs can be felt easily, and if one shifts, the whole bed moves. And movement will be accompanied by sound effects, for a loose piece of metal flashing flaps noticeably underneath the bed, especially if one seeks to practice the finer arts of marital massage. But, hey, sound effects are freebies, right? Finally, the basic, handwritten "Do Not Touch" sign on the a/c unit, which blows loudly, even loudly enough to compete with Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2 on sound setting 25, is an interesting touch. The hotel needs a general update. As I said earlier, this is our second stay, and by comparison, it is about 2-3 stars lower than our last, back when we stayed here to celebrate my cousin Beau's wedding. But that is not Ari's fault; she is a delight.
