This Graeter's location isn't fair with serving sizes. We go often, as we don't drink alcohol so ice cream is our main "treat," and I've been going to Graeter's since I was a kid. I typically love Graeter's. But they don't give you two full scoops anymore at this location! I always get two scoops, and my fiancé always gets one scoop, so I have multiple samples. The amount of ice cream she gets with her one scoop is the same amount -- sometimes MORE -- as what I get with two scoops. She thinks it's funny and I get that it's kind of petty and silly, but it's also just bad business. I want what I am paying for, I mean weigh it if you have to, or train your employees more, but at least eyeball it and give me the same as a one scoop gets, times two. It's not that hard. A two-scoop order should contain roughly twice as much ice cream as a one-scoop order. I shouldn't have to order two separate single scoops just to get the amount that "two scoops" is supposed to include. The ice cream has also gone downhill. They are using WAY more chocolate than ice cream these days, which is odd, considering rising chocolate prices. I love the chocolate but the chunks are getting bigger and bigger, sometimes 2"-3" long and hard to eat. read more

Pros? Store usually well maintained, as well as the bathrobathrooms. Staff is usually friendly and patient, and fairly efficent andntaking orders. There is not too many people here usually. Cons? It is stupid expensive. The spoonful of sprinkles cost a whole dollar. The double dip I ordered is less than half the cup..... and it has been this quality in thr several trips i made this year ( and yes I kept going back, giving a benefit of a doubt that it was just unlicky poor scooper) Dont recommend for value. It's your typical ice cream joint to get your quick sweet tooth fix, however, the scoop size consistency is variable. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of seating to hang out with friends. As long as I've now been living here in Ohiooooooooo, this is only the second or third time I've had Graeters, and it definitely lives up to its name, as this location did as well!! Quick moving line, sooooo many tempting flavors (I enjoyed two of their specials, Key Lime and Coconut) and relatively reasonable prices. Clean, cozy, well-lit, with some great take-home options and a drive thru also, if you're in a rush... Happy to see that this location was miraculously not hit by the area's recent MULTIPLE tornados, in spite of the TREMENDOUS damage all around them. Get out and grab some of their GREAT ice cream!!! My boyfriend was excited to introduce me to Graeter's, as it's a local ice cream chain based in Cincinnati! I first tried the Madagascar Vanilla Bean flavor that's found in grocery stores in Ohio, and that was a really smooth, solid flavor. This time, visiting the actual store, I wanted to try something different. The workers were all very friendly and patient, letting me sample a lot of flavors before deciding. The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip was an interesting flavor, but I'm not sure I could do a whole scoop of it. The Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip was another solid flavor, but it wasn't as decadent as the Dark Chocolate Brownie, which is what we ended up going with! The brownie pieces were gooey and great. Portions were massive! A single scoop is more like three scoops, and cost less than $5. read more

We stopped here twice will visiting the area. The first time was excellent--five stars. Portions and toppings were generous. The second time the portions had shrunk. I realize this is most likely due to the person prepping, but it still was disappointing. The ice cream is always delicious. The store is clean. Masks were not worn by all employees. What a great find. We were out looking for something to quench our sweet tooth and lucked into this gem! We ordered the dark chocolate brownie-two scoops in a waffle cone, child size scoop of double chocolate chip in a waffle cone, a chocolate brownie sundae, a waffle cone with two scoops of cookies and cream and a sunrise surprise smoothie and the bill was 41$ Everything was delicious. Even if you think you won't like it, just ask for a sample. Because it's surprisingly awesome and one of my go-tos. Some of my other favorites include Black Cherry Chocolate Chip and Buckeye Blitz (Chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and balls of peanut butter). They also offer rotating seasonal flavors - Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Strawberry Cheesecake, just to name a few. They're also awesome at classic sundaes. Kyle went above and beyond to spoon-feed me taste samples as my recent surgery required my arms to be restricted. I eventually ordered a milkshake for easier consumption, but Kyle insisted on spoon-feeding me a triple scoop banana split with hot fudge, strawberry topping, whipped cream, pecans, and a cherry. I know there is a local "feud" whose ice cream is the best and from my experience it has to be Graters. Great flavor and nice pieces of chocolate. Could use a little more flavoring in their berry flavors. There is a lot of staff to attend to patrons quickly but they are very young and can get very chatty. We did go one night at 10:30pm and they had already put up chairs. They close at a 11pm. Than they started washing the floor and we felt like we were being pushed out.
