Graf & Son is a generally a good company, providing lots of products for the reloader that are not readily available elsewhere. They have a professional staff fielding product questions and processing of orders. The only reason for the 3 stars is shipping charges. Shipping costs are not identified when ordering, or in order confirmation, and they are exceptionally high. As a dealer I recently ordered 200 pcs of 41 Rem mag brass. The price was good, unfortunately, the UPS delivery charge assessed by Graf was $22, or 50% more added to the order. That is not the cost of UPS shipping. By comparison, a MidwayUSA order for the same amount of brass, plus a three piece set of dies and a 100 piece box of 41 caliber bullets, 4x the weight of the Graf order, had a UPS shipping charge of $14.50 assessed. I think Graf should be more forthcoming in stating shipping costs before online checkout, and charging a credit card. I first saw the shipping charge in my online bank statement. In the end, any saving through dealer discounts are negated by excessive shipping charges. read more

Saw the review posted by AS. on 05MAY24 and its funny cuz I placed an order for 556 blanks for ceremonies on the 8th of May and on the 9th I had 3 fraudlent purchases on my card so I had to go through the process of canceling my credit card. Luckily my bank caught it and notified me. They did ship the order UPS and I should have it by Tuesday of next week. Horrible business practices. I placed an order online on 06/19/2021 for reloading powder. Instead of shipping my order in the 5-7 days, as promised on their website, this business cancelled my order without notice. I called their customer service today, to check the status of my order to find out that my order was cancelled more than 1 week ago. These individuals don't have enough respect for customers to notify of them of status changes to their orders. Fortunately, I was not charged for the order. I would definitely recommend against doing business with this company. If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a box of shells and wads only to find that they were the wrong kind upon arrival. I called graf and sons to see if I could get a refund/exchange and was told that they would only accept a return for ONE of the items out of the $100+ order... I was then told that I would have to pay for shipping to return. The shipping would have been $45(more than the price of the item) +restocking fee. After getting the run around for 2 WEEKS about wether or not they would help provide me with a shipping label to return my item. They finally sent me a "shipping label" that doesn't open and they refuse to help me troubleshoot to accept the file. And are no longer responding to emails. TLDR; not a good company to buy from if you are new and or are able to make mistakes. They will not help you and their rude customer service will waste your time. Don't waste your money. read more

I don't actually believe Glenn's review....since Graf's charges $7.99 flat rate shipping no matter what you order or how many cartons it ships in (unless there is an additional hazmat fee if you buy powder or primers, which is a fee that every retailer charges). This is one of the WORSE companies that I've ever dealt with. Registered on their website and called to ask what the shipping cost would be since this is one of THE ONLY sites that doesn't show you the shipping charges during checkout. NOW I know WHY! Called Natalie (braindead #1), and she said she didn't know what the shipping would be. I would have to place the order and they would call me back and let me know. First red flag...since I'm sure they have sold a "few" of these before. Emailed customer service and got an email back from Dwight (Braindead#2). He quoted me a cost of $18.00. Not bad I thought. Worst Group of People I ever purchased Product From. What I ordered was not sent. Sent each Box individually instead of placing orders in a couple of boxes forcing me to pay unreasonable shipping charges. When I called them to correct the order, they told me they were not allowed to group shipping. However, when a replacement order was finally shipped, it was boxed in ONE package for their Benefit, exactly what they told me they could not do. Furthermore, I contacted them seeing they offered Free Shipping, asked them to make an adjustment based on thier mistakes all around. They refused and never bothered to have courtesy to make any adjustment. Order was over $600 in merchandise. Avoid buying anything from them as much as you can. I recently purchase two AK drums from them and received them defective. When I called to see if I could replace them or return them, I was told that I need to contact the manufacture and have them send me a replacement. Pay attention. They are not cheap. They ship things UPS with signatures required, so you MUST take a day off of work to receive your order. No one else in the industry does this for reloading components. I will not take a day off of work to do business with them. I recommend going elsewhere for reloading components. I don't post many reviews on Yelp but felt compelled when I read the few (and some bad) reviews regarding Graf and Sons. I have been ordering from this company for almost 3 years now. Even during the crazy periods where reloading materials for virtually every seller appear and disappear before you can hit the "order" button, Graf and Sons has been a consistent provider of materials. Prices are exceptional and rarely beat. And NOBODY beats their shipped cost on heavy items such as bulk bullets. If not for Graf and Sons I simply would have not accomplished any reloading the last 2.5 years. California has limited to no inventory and adding $50.00 to ship $70.00 of bullets would have made reloading impossible. I have never had a delayed order, lost order of for that matter even a minor shortage on an order. I have also NEVER placed an order for an item they indicated that had in stock and was told it was not available. Forget any other negative reviews you see here. I placed and order that totaled 39.96 and was forced to add an additional item to make their $40 MINIMUM order. They advertise one low price for shipping of $7.95. They don't advertise a $40 minimum order. But, OK, I met the minimum. A week later (actually 8 days later) still no shipping information. I emailed them. No response. I emailed them again 2 days later. Still no response. I sent them another email to cancel the order. Still no response. I called my credit provider to block the charge. I say that because I checked and they still had not even charged my card. So obviously no shipment. Too bad, they used to be top notch with fast shipping and good service. Unfortunately, they have gone the way of volume over service and the customer is always wrong. Never again with Graf & Sons. I've deleted them from my list of on line suppliers and won't give them the benefit of my hard earned $$$ again. I would suggest you do the same and save yourself some aggravation. read more
