I have been to most Alamance County laundromats and they only have enough water in their double or triple load machines to wash one pair of pants. I have tested this for two years. I live 15 minutes away by Highway and will drive there every single time I need to wash anything and know that it's going to get clean. The prices are very very reasonable for what you get. She said because, customers had broken it and it will cost a lot of money to get fixed, and she also said that the weather is getting hot, and they need to keep it closed so to keep air form going out or something like that. This just seems so selfish at its core. Why have a sliding door if not going to allow customers to use? That was the purpose of my using this laundry mat because it was convenient to use the sliding door when bringing in the laundry and not struggling to use a door. It doesn't reference liquid detergent at all. Front load machines that have 2 wash cycles - they don't accommodate liquid detergent. If you fill both slots for the 2 wash cycles with liquid detergent... the liquid runs out of both slots immediately. The machines are dirty in the door/gasket area. Filthy and growing actually. Its gross. No signs. Its a secret as to how long each type of washing machine runs. There were no signs above or on dryers telling you how many minutes a quarter buys. Weeks ago I saw staff making an obvious effort cleaning tables and machines for Covid19 reasons. Last trip in, last week... I saw no cleaning being done at all. Never saw a table or machine being wiped down. There was nothing made available to customers to wipe table and machines down before and after use either. They half get it with the vending machines, but forgot how those snacks exit. Also, just bring coins. They accept card but it's swipe only and this would be the worst place to discover your swipe is damaged. Other than that it's clean, basically empty (as in no employees either) with a cash to coin exchange machine and a few vending machines for snacks.

You must first purchase a $1 reusable/reloadable Royal credit/debit card (using cash or credit). It works only on their clean, neat, late-model washers and dryers. The staff member who greeted me first was named Brie and was especially helpful -- checking on my progress and offering to help, if necessary, a couple of times. Great decision to wash and dry a couple of laundry loads, here, tonight!
