DO NOT DO YOUR LAUNDRY HERE! I came in to this place around 830pm tonight to dry some of my clothes because my dryer at home stopped working. Upon entering, the guy working there immediately started to harras me about the time. I calmly and politely explained my situation. He then goes "well, I'll let you do it, but we normally don't let people wash/dry their clothes past 8pm" I told him "not to be smart but where is that posted?" He shows me and all it says is "Last Wash is at 8pm". Never mind that their hours posted online and at the store say they close at 930pm. So after starting the dryer, I look up to see who owns the place and ask the employee about it. He goes "Ya that's her, call her it doesn't matter" So I find the owners info in their website, and reach out to her and told her how rude her employee treated me. She texted back "I'm sorry you thought my employee was rude to you"....He was rude, period! She then had the audacity to call me and accuse me of being confrontational in my texts to her. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Clearly the owner doesn't want to make any money, and doesn't practice good customer service or train her employees to have good customer service either. I've been in the service industry for 22 years. The customer isn't always right, but if someone needs help in an emergency situation, the right thing to do is try and help them, not hassle them. Bottom line, go somewhere else to do your laundry. read more

Great laundromat. I have been going to this laundromat for about 20 years. The personnel and owner are very helpful and personal and give good advice how to clean clothes. Pretty exceptional little laundromat in Chapel Hill. The machines are so large that you can do several loads at one time, and they are the largest machines I had seen in any laundromat. Very very clean place due to the staff constantly cleaning. This morning it was Jennifer and she was wiping down the legs of the chairs that are set out for people to sit in, there is no lint to be found anywhere in any corner of this room, and anyone who enters is greeted and asked if there's anything they need. Plus the place is under 24-hour surveillance. You can drop off laundry here or do it yourself, the very large loads are $4.75. Open at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., ATM machine inside. Hot and cold drinks available for $1, and a water cooler is available for free. A power strip is available for charging phones, as well as a few small tables to sit with laptops. The folding tables are wiped down constantly and they are exceptionally clean. Super friendly helpful employees, and if they see you struggling with the machines they come and ask you if you need any assistance. read more

I have been using this laundry mat for years and I have to say I've never had such rude service and all of the years that I've been here until tonight November 17, 2023 at 7:55 PM. Whoever the new person is here is incredibly rude. She promptly yelled at me walking in the door, telling me that I had almost no time to wash my clothes, saying I had to get them in the washer in one minute or leave. I didn't know about this 8 PM rule but there are PLENTY of nice ways to go about saying that to a paying customer instead of yelling and being outright disrespectful. I hope this lady gets fired so you all can continue the good service you've had for years. I will be calling the management on this Absolute horrible woman. read more

I RV full time for my job and frequent Laundry mats. This one is pretty decent and affordable. However after reading some reviews on Yelp I understand why it received 2 stars on several reviews. The attendant is some what rude. I'm not sure her elevator goes to the top floor so I think that's why she's rude. It's the way she approaches you, like you're a child and have done something wrong. I just use the machines and sit in my car so I don't get rude back. If I lived in the area full time I would not use this place. Just my opinion. read more

We're a large parish, 3000 families. I wash all my greasy and oily kitchen rags, dish towels, napkins and table cloths often. The attendants are real people. If you're polite and patient, they are remarkable. If you're in a hurry and impatient, they accommodate. Their charge for wash and fold is competitive with my experience all over the country. We travel full time in our RV.....we frequently wash and fold laundrys..... The customary price is $1.25 - $1.50 per pound......anywhere in the U.S. These folks charge $2.00 per pound...... So when we when went to pick it up.....looks like the usual service we pay less for..... My husband paid to young woman.....she said to him.... i would of gave this place a negative star if i could because i got there right at 8 and it does not take a hour to wash and dry cloths at this place becuase ive been here before and the girl that works there let me go in at 8 and i was done before 9 but this old black guy going to come up to my car as im pulling my stuff out and say i cant come in and wash my stuff and i was like ok well ill just stop coming and hes going to run his mouth as he starts walking back to the building i would not recommend this place to anyone if you dont like rude people that run their mouth as they walk back to the place and then ban you from the store because he wants to start stuff then get mad when you say stuff back, the people they have working here are lazy af and dont clean or anything they just sit on there asses and the only thing they do is wait outside at 8 to stop people from coming in! read more

I've never had to use a laundromat before. I've used shared laundry rooms, apartment laundry rooms, but never a coin laundromat. When my new condo's in-unit dryer wasn't working, I came to Willow Creek with cash, dirty clothes, and no freakin knowledge whatsoever of where to begin. The very kind woman at the front helped me out with a smile and didn't humiliate me in the slightest, despite how totally stupid and helpless I looked. I totally forgot soap (I guess it didn't cross my mind that it wouldn't be there). Then I needed smaller bills, then quarters, and finally a lesson on how to use the machine. That lovely woman helped me the whole way through and even pointed me towards the cheaper machines (in the back!). I now have clean clothes, a smile on my face, and I almost feel sad that I won't be back here. The staff that works there are very nice and polite but the manager is completely rude unprofessional lady and I feel every time I come in I get targeted because I have two highly active young kids that come with me, every single time I come in she has something negative to say about them the most recent interaction she told me my daughter could not sit on a folding table, we'll number one other kids where sitting on them and nothing was said to them, I also went on to tell her my daughter is 3 and she has Down syndrome she doesn't understand that this is not a playground and she could get hurt if she diddnt stay with me and not run around, the lady had no sympathy for my situation and continued with her rude remarks, I have biracial kids so my first thought is she has a problem with kids of color or maybe just a problem with kids in general I'm not sure but I don't appreciate this disrespect and degrading manner and I will never recommend that place to anyone, she is a completely horrible person! read more

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon, around 3 pm. I don't know how busy this place is on a regular basis, but there are a fairly large number of washers and dryers. I had no problem accessing a dryer upon my off-hour arrival. Service is friendly. It's .25 per 5 minutes for the small/medium sized dryer and they have change machines in the back. There are tables and chairs where you can sit, the only thing I would have preferred were more power outlets for my computer. Otherwise it's pretty much what I expected of a laundromat. read more

My washer broke in a middle of the cycle leaving soaking wet clothes enveloped in soapy suds. i scrounged up $5 of quarters from my daughter's piggy bank and headed over after reading the yelp review. First of all $5 doesn't buy you much. One wash is $4.50 so I had to get more change to cover the 3 washes. Not to sound old(er) but when i was in college wash and dry were $1 each. I really feel for people who have to rely on a laundromat for clean clothes except for college kids as that is part of the experience. The place was clean enough but I couldn't get a cell phone signal in there so I couldn't check my messages or make calls. That would be a deal breaker for me if I were to go here regularly. They do have Wifi but you have to ask for the password. There are restroom and chairs though I imagine prime time it would be hard to find a seat and a washer dryer. I went on a Saturday afternoon and had a hard time finding a dryer. The dryers are $.25 for 5 minutes so that is pretty reasonable and I could dry my clothes in 20 minutes so can't complain there. The appliances are in good shape and are fast. I do wonder why in this day and age they can't process credit cards or cash in the machines. Would go back but I hope I don't have to. read more

My washer broke down and we were left waiting for the part to come in with laundry to get done before the work week was to begin. My husband and I got our clothes together and headed over after reading yelp reviews. It was clean, the staff was nice and very helpful. Yes a little pricey, but better than having to buy a new washer we were fixing on our own. (which is not that hard when you have utube) If any of my machines break down again I know where I will be headed again! It took us back to the days when our kids were young and we hung out at laundromats when getting our laundry done. read more

Incredibly sweet staff, great washers and dryers. Would absolutely recommend. Washers range from $3.25 to $8. The $8 washer takes up to 6 loads. Dryers are $.25 for 5 minutes so it takes about $2. Quarters only, but there's a food lion right next door if you need cash for the quarter machine (takes only ones). read more

I discovered this business a few months back and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and variety of washer size options. The business also offers drop off services which is nice. Today I decided to go there to wash the winter sweaters and long-johns that have been in moth balls all winter. My visit was going smoothly until it was time to dry. The attendant came over to me and insisted that I was being selfish by using multiple dryers I had chosen, when the business was starting to get busy and I should use smaller dryers because other people had more than I did. I understood her rationale, however her delivery was extremely unprofessional and insulting. As a patron, I have every right to choose how I want to spend my money. Because I had heavy clothes, I did not want to spend more than necessary to dry them and that was my rationale for spreading them out. Not-to-mention, another patron has steered me in that direction because the dryers were still warm from her usage. The attendant's tone and disposition put me and the other patron (a first time visitor) she was assisting in a very awkward space. Needless-to-say, I packed up my clothes and left. I am sure the attendant thought she was doing her job, when she stated "we share around here", however she made the first time visitor very uneasy and took money out of the pockets of her boss. read more

Since my washer broke (in the middle of a load, of course) and the replacement I ordered was delayed in delivery, I have used willow creek twice in as many weeks. The young (ish) man who works there is extremely polite, greeting people as they enter and leave. He offers assistance, walks around tidying up, and has change for $20s if you need it. The machines and floors are clean and the trash cans are plentiful and usually empty. I don't have much experience with laundromats in the last 20 years (it was much cheaper back when I was a young apartment dweller) but I guess this is the going rate for washing and drying... $4.50 to $6.50 to wash, depending on size, and 25 cents for 5 minutes in the dryer- which took half the time of my home dryer. Free wifi, carts are in good shape, and there is a grocery store in the same shopping center if you forgot anything. I would recommend this place. read more

My daughter is a student at UNC and needed her sofa slipcovers laundered. We went to Willow Creek Laundromat and had them wash them. Their Fluff and Fold service was wonderful. The staff was attentive and really amazed us by how clean they got her slipcovers. We were also happy about the price. I got to enjoy a day with my daughter instead of hanging out at the laundromat. There was a dark colored woman that carried herself very unaccordingly, I asked for my five dollars that I earned but I was suppose to receive that money that moment and time but I didn't so I came this time expecting to receive my "five dollars" but she explained that I can not receive it the next time, so I said that was ok but she being black started to mouth off after I told her it was ok then I told her that I was going to tell my 17 friends that I had recommendeds to come here and notify them about this incident and she went off like so many women that carry themselves like her and she kept talking to me after I told her three times that I was not talking to her and she said that she would not change my dollars to quarters, when I didn't even ask for anything from her and I did not response and then another woman came in and I told her about the incident and I asked her to evaluate the cameras because of the incident that had just happened and she did not even do her job that's how much these people to appreciate their customers. read more
