What a hip and welcoming coffee shop. I really enjoy coming here. Another local coffee shop that this area sorely needs. I moved to be closer to here (actually I moved and this happens to be closer to my new place, which is fantastic). The owner is a master when it comes to drink concoction. I really crave the Ginger Bee Latte and House Chai Latte sometimes. Some places make chai too sweet, but the balance of flavor in Graham's house chai is perfect. I've tried other drinks, like smoothies and matcha latte (all very good). But I enjoy the Ginger Bee and Chai so much that I usually end up with one of those. There are scrumptious seasonal drinks that should return at some point (looking at you cardamom latte). Also, not above ordering more than one drink for myself at the same time. On my list to try is the shrub pop, when it gets warmer. There are pastries/baked goods, yogurt, acai bowls, and oatmeal. I've been hoping they'd have capacity to add more savory and breakfast options; recently it looks like my wish has come true. From Friday-Sunday they're now offering sandwiches and scone-wiches. The place has some seating, but could use a little more seats (maybe a seat or two in lieu of the instagram booth area). I've called ahead for drink pickup on the way to work in the AM and it's been ready within 5 minutes. Recently downloaded the Cloosiv app (app to order ahead from local coffee shops) and it's super easy to use. Great way to support local business, especially during this covid time. My local favorite coffee shop. The coffee is not bitter on its on which is great imo for black coffee drinkers. The pasties are out of this world, and the baristas are always friendly and welcoming. My pick if your a coffee drinker is the pistachio coffee iced with cream/ milk added to your liking. Graham's: where the WiFi's as strong as the coffee! It was my first visit to Graham's, but it definitely won't be my last. Turns out, I wasn't the only one who thought a trip to Graham's was so necessary today: I was there for a few hours on a dreary, rainy Sunday morning, and it was poppin'! During my stay, I overheard several customers announce it was their first visit, so kudos to Schenectady's coffee culture for not letting a little November rain damper their caffeinated adventures! Opening in August 2019, Graham's has been on my radar for a minute now, but it was the cardamom maple latte I recently saw on my Instagram feed that finally got me through the door. This cardamom latte would make any dad jealous! It took me on an aromatic journey, thanks to the spicy, herby, citrusy standout stars of the cardamom, swirling together for a bold trifecta bursting with flavor. I didn't get a ton of maple flavor, but that didn't bother me. It tasted like something you'd get in Scandinavian cafe, and that's always a plus. I ordered my mine with oat milk, and I loved its extra smooth, velvety texture. I found myself wishing the latte wasn't served in a to go cup so I could enjoy some latte art for the (Insta)gram, and also so my nose could catch a glorious whiff of cardamom with every sip. Science says we taste with our nose, so I want the full experience, baby! I took my latte and set up laptop shop at a spacious/comfortable work station in front of a big wall of windows overlooking State Street. Graham's has an assortment of yummy grab-and-go snacks, like sweet and savory scones, GF cookies, and tasty biscotti made by Brimstone Bakery (from Sharon Springs, NY), and heartier options, like homemade quiche and soup. I thought I'd work up an appetite for some hot oatmeal topped with a choice of local/homemade gourmet granola, but I was too focused on my work and enjoying my latte to break the momentum I should have tried some low-maintenance mini biscotti to enjoy with my latte -- #nexttime. When it was time to go, I couldn't leave empty handed/without trying some food, so I took home a savory meal: a cup of spinach and white bean soup, and a cheddar/ham/rosemary scone. Tomorrow might be Monday, but at least I'm already looking forward to lunch! Kicking myself for not purchasing a cookie for dessert (they're $1!!) The vibe/aesthetic inside Graham's is very modern, yet funky; it's what I envision Ambition Cafe might look like after Marie Kondo had her way with it: clean lines and not a lot of clutter. It's a little retro, a little millennial (the exterior is painted a gorgeous shade of pale millennial pink after all!), and emits the faintest, yet coolest, trace of some "Saved by the Bell" chi; in short, it's a whole lot of yes! Bright white walls are illuminated with plenty of natural light, and fun vintage/coffee-inspired graphics are splashed on the walls, order counter, and "staff only" doors. If you haven't given Graham's a try, make it the spot for your next coffee date! Or keep a look out for some of the fun-looking "dinner and a movie" nights! The December schedule looks like it's gonna sleigh. A note on parking, it's kinda tight! There's parking for 3-4 cars in the back, and about 3-4 cars along the side of the skinny driveway, which is on a rather steep slope; my advice is unless/until you're familiar with the traffic patterns, avoid a white knuckle park job and use the entrance on Albany Street vs. State Street. read more

Checked out this spot while visiting family in this area and was so impressed with the lattes I tried! I went back two days in a row. My first day I had an iced PSL - their house made syrup was the best pumpkin syrup I've EVER HAD. It tastes so fresh and perfectly spiced. I knew I had to go back the next day and buy a container of the syrup to bring home with me (which is so cool that you can do that!). For my second day, I tried an iced blueberry honey cake latte, which was also delicious. When checking out the cooler for the pumpkin syrup it wasn't stocked and I mentioned it to the employee who gladly offered to package me up some and then another barista came out and explained to me how to best use it at home. The baristas there are very friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be stopping at Graham's for coffee every time I'm in the area now. read more

This new little hot spot is killing it! This specialty coffee shop not only has good espresso, but juiced and blended beverages as well! Interior has a fun pop art all over and a little photo booth for your beverages. Quirky and cute. There's a large standing table, a cute little seating area and a front window bar. Owner was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered an iced espresso and blue steel (smoothie) to go. My friend got the ground control smoothie. All delish. Sustainable to go products and I loved that my iced espresso came in the appropriate sized cup which the owner says it's because of their juiced beverages. Graham's gets a five-star Covid rating: well marked signage, *very* well masked staff, they have both cleared out the seating yet somehow managed to make the empty area still look homey and inviting, have plexiglass barriers and sanitizer handy, and the baked items I took to go were fabulous as ever. They use fresh bread that was buttery & crispy, lots of cheese, & a generous amount of eggs cooked perfectly. I hear their coffee is great too, but all of their flavors are sweetened, so I passed for now. The store itself is cute & quaint, with an outdoor order/pickup window & outdoor seating. I will start off by saying that if zero stars were an option, I would give this place a zero. My mother-in-law just recently came home from being in the hospital for almost a month. She is currently recovering from diabetic complications. Since her condition is improving, we decided to take her out to get coffee and brunch. Upon looking for a nice place to go, we came across Grahams Coffee Parlor. It looked like a cute place with excellent coffee and food. However, the customer service was extremely sub par. After eating her food, my mother-in-law expressed that she felt nauseous. We stepped outside briefly so that she could get some fresh air. Once we came back inside to sit down, the server was cleaning off the table as if to imply that they wanted us to leave. As we were about to sit back down, the manager approached us and said, "if she vomits in here, it would be a health violation and we cannot have you in here." My family and I were taken aback by the lack of compassion that this woman displayed. They had no sympathy for my mother-in-law with her health condition. Needless to say, my family and I will never be coming back to Graham's Coffee Parlor. read more

I'm going to give this place 5 stars despite a couple things. They know what they're doing, not much else to say. Legit place, legit people who know how to pull shots on quality equipment and have a nice variety of drinks beyond coffee. I had a large latte and it was a legit large. Inside is really well done with some cool touches without being completely in your face annoying. The space is small and the owner has done a great job with it. Parking is very tough, one of my gripes. There were only 4-5 people when I went and they were in two groups. I parked in a space that was not technically a space and there was literally nowhere else to park. Hopefully the owner can make an agreement with one of the neighbors to use their space. My bigger gripe. Their baked goods are laughably small. The cookie, even though it's only a dollar, would fit in the palm of my small hands with room to spare all the way around. I was just in LI and stopped at 2 excellent coffee shops. One of them was one of the best coffee shops as far as coffee/baked goods I've been in. They had cookies for $1 also and they were twice the size. Even at twice the size the cookie was just a normal size. As far as drinks this place is excellent and absolutely worth stopping at. There isn't another place in this immediate area you can get high quality drinks at. read more

Giving this coffee shop a one star rating is one star too many as My husband and I experienced a lack of empathy as well as very rude and very cold service today. As I was recently discharged from Ellis hospital after a month stay due to an infection in my blood (nothing contagious ). Graham's was the first outing since then and I regret it. after eating an egg smiley I started to feel very nauseous witch is something that happens quite often because of my kidney disease and my dialysis treatments. my husband wanting to help asked who i believed was to be the owner or manager for a bag because I was nauseous. since my husband and I are ones to always have others in mind my husband wheeled me outside to get fresh air and let the nauseous pass. we were not even out there four minutes before returning to our table inside before being greeted with a nasty look and an unpleasant attitude, followed by unnecessary remarks. The women stated as she was already cleaning off our table that if i were to throw up in the coffee shop that could be a violation from a health inspector She made it very clear that she felt uncomfortable with us returning to our table. Graham's lost business not only from us but from our son and daughter in law as well! Good morning everyone, I'd like to take a minute to review this establishment. I would like to say that this is a very unique place when it comes to drinks at least in my experience because some of these things I have never even heard of before. They have a lot of healthy options they have a lot of healthy drinks options and mixtures of berry blendz and leafy green blends. They do have some pastries there also seem to be on the healthier side. I'm more of a simple type of person I like things straightforward non complicated. My son on the other hand does not he has a different palette lol brought home would I call an Arnold Palmer which is iced tea and lemonade and I must say it is absolutely phenomenal. The taste is delicious, everything is fresh and you can definitely tell. The reason why I gave it four stars is because the parking lot is a little small so it does not give a lot of room for people to park which makes it difficult to park, their prices are a little on the higher side but you're getting fresh quality product so with that you pay higher prices. Overall this was a great experience a great experience again that I had with them and I recommend that anyone who wants to have a very delicious beverage that's healthy and natural and fresh go to this very special little place. Very chic coffee shop, gotta be the only chic style coffee shop in town (if you know any, please let me know!). Latte was decent, I feel they don't have a lot of pastry the few times I visited. Too bad it lack of seating and gets really warm in the winter. It doesn't have a lot of space for people to sit down and work (except the few bar seats by the window), will definitely come back for pour over. I had looked up coffee shops with outdoor seating so I could get some work done between appointments... when I got to Graham's I didn't see any outdoor seating, so I asked about it when I got inside and they explained that since it had been raining all morning they hadn't put the seating out, but since it was sunny they offered to set up a table for me outside. I really appreciated how accommodating they were about that, especially since I was there from out of town and largely because of the seating option ...all three people working were super friendly about it and very welcoming.
