On 6/21 was contacted and told that they could install on 6/26 however we were not available so install was scheduled for 6/30. Was emailed days before install with exact instructions on preparing for the install. The day of the install received notification that Jesse and his team were on their way. Install was so easy. Jesse and his crew were extremely respectful and polite and cleaned up everything before leaving. When I came down to look at where the seam on the countertop was I very pleased that there was not a seam especially since we were told they would have to put a seam. Love my countertops. The entire process was so easy. Every person involved is extremely professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time each time. In addition, Greg provided recommendation for tile and they too were very professional and prompt. Most importantly I felt safe and comfortable with everyone involved. My mother-in-law recently had a great experience here, so off we went. Entered the store early Saturday afternoon; it was moderately busy - maybe a handful of other couples/families browsing. As we cruised around the store, we noticed a line of computers/desks along the left wall of the store - completely empty. No associates. Later, as we moved toward the ceiling fans, one associate appeared behind the desk Up the ramp to the ceiling fan section and across the store sat another check out counter with computers. We looked at several different ceiling fans - scanning QR codes, discussing sizing, etc. As we continued shopping, we couldn't help notice the two associates near the counter who seemed happier chatting amongst themselves than selling merchandise. We were in the store a MINIMUM of 15 minutes - looking, scanning, discussing, and NOT ONE team member approached us. No wonder they feel the need to have so many cameras - they have no associates who care! It wasn't a total loss, though, we shared a few chuckles taking bets on prices before scanning the QR codes. But, in this case, I feel it's completely necessary and justified. Now, in all fairness, the service I received was very good. But, the pricing is so unbelievably high - it's highway robbery. TL;DR - Do NOT buy hardwood here. Their prices are HYPER inflated! (Price sheet photos attached). So, here is the story: I just started woodworking and, like most novices, I find buying the materials to be a little intimidating. I mean, we don't know what wood to use for what project. We don't know how much to buy. We don't know how much it should cost, or where to get it. Hell, we don't even understand the terminology (what the heck is a board foot?!). The answer is to find a reputable hardwood supplier and go there. I'm currently traveling on business and have time on my hands, so I decided to look in San Antonio and see what I could find. After a quick internet search, I settled on Alamo Hardwood and made the drive downtown to check it out. When I walked in, a young man approached me and asked if he could help me. After finding I was a novice, he took me around the store and showed me the various types of wood, how they're surfaced, etc. He was friendly, answered my questions and allowed me to take pictures of the price sheets. I was pretty discouraged at how much my projects were going to cost because wood is so freakin' expensive. I asked if they had any plywood or veneers and he sent me to a competitor about a block away. Later that night, I was watching YouTube videos and some random woodworker's video started to play. The title of his video was "I almost got scammed buying hardwood!", and that caught my attention. He proceeded to explain exactly what my experience had been that day, even to the point of having the Alamo Hardwood employee referring him to the same competitor a block away. So, he said to go to Dakota Hardwood in San Antonio and check out their prices. So, I did that. Every single quote from Dakota was a fraction of what was at Alamo. And the guy there gave me a full tour, etc. As an example - Alamo's price for 4/4 Hard Maple is $17.25 per board foot. Dakota? .... $3.99 per board foot. And I got to handle the maple - absolutely beautiful quality. Avoid Alamo Hardwood. The prices are dishonest and unreasonable.

They responded with the address to their new warehouse and specifically asked if they were open on Sunday. They replied "yes 9-4." Sunday afternoon 7-23-23 I stopped by the business about 3. It was closed and there was no one in sight. I called the number plastered on the wall. At first the guy was pleasant enough telling me that they were never open on Sundays, but he didn't care at all that he had caused frustration and wasted my time, gas and resource. I told him that was absolutely terrible customer service. He then got nasty and hung up on me. (if you read the other complaints this guy is always hanging up on his customers and not solving the problems he creates.) I went on to run other errands. The issue didn't escalate to a degree that would warrant what they did next. 7:45 the next morning 7-24-23 the lying little creep had the Leon Valley police department text me saying that they were on the way to my home because they had evidence that I had broken the window out of the school next to my house. Well I don't live next to a school and I hadn't broken any windows. So I called the Leon Valley police Department. They said it was a hoax, to block the number then trash the message. I did that. Then about noon the unethical little twit had the Leon Valley police department call me accusing me of breaking out the window of the Home Improvement Warehouse and saying that they had me on video surveilance doing it - which is completely impossible since it never happened. He also informed the police that he heard me break the window - which once again is impossible because he wasn't there. But the police knew what type of vehicle I was driving and too much of my personal information. Once again The Leon Valley Police Department assure me that it wasn't a legitimate call and to call SAPD and submit a report because Leon Valley could find no evidence of a report being filed. The owners of this company are insane and need to be punished for violating the law by making false accusations and false police reports. What was the purpose of lying to me about their store hours? What is the purpose of making false claims to the police department? All I wanted to do was buy some cabinets.

They help me make landscape decisions and show me product options. I love shopping here, because I never feel I have to linger and make choices regarding products I am unfamiliar with. Thank you Morris company. You all are awesome. Also, The pricing for gravel and base and so forth, is much more affordable here then heading to a big box store.
