There are some stores on the inside with the majority of the eateries facing outward on the first floor. During the week, it was nice to walk around the shops as they weren't too crowded. They have a number of your typical retailers like anthropologie, madewell, sephora and west elm. There are a number of really great food options so it's a good place to go if you're feeling hungry. Parking is free, but kind of confusing! There's only one entrance into the parking structure in the back and once you're inside, it can be really hard to remember where you parked. The parking area isn't well marked and because of the way it's set up, it's really easy to forget where you've parked your car. You have to go down a hallway to enter into the actual shopping area and they all look identical. Try to keep tabs on this so you don't end up circling around like me!

I think since all the looting and smash and grabs and pandemic nonsense I really don't enjoy shopping at all anymore in most east bay cities. The shopping here is as good as it gets. When you walk into a store or restaurant people look at you as a customer not like a kriminal. Its not that far from Castro Valley and you might consider driving a few extra miles to get here. Safeway has all those irritating coupons - I much prefer Trader Joes or Whole Foods just because there isn't so much nonsense and price games being played. Armadillo Willy's is great though. Its a no fuss place that is affordable. The best food possible for the lowest cost. They cut out the servers and and 'special service' to get these rock bottom prices. Frankly I don't need people irritating me and asking me 'how I'm doing' when my mouth is full and I just took a bite. When I get my Truck serviced at the Chevy dealer I usually to the BBQ joint. When I'm done eating I usually get a phone call that its done. I love that dealership. I get to visit with their little kitty kat, Miss Chevy. She is so friendly and loves to greet the customers.

The entrance into and out of the lot is not very well thought out. One entrance from Dublin Blvd. is in the middle of the block so cars traveling east must make a u-turn to enter. The second entrance is through the back so cars have to wind their way through the side parking lot to get to the front of the stores. There is often a bottleneck when cars from the 2 Dublin Blvd. entrances converge. The only access with a straight shot from the road is the 3rd entrance on Tassajara.

I purchased a few fidget toys for stocking stuffers. My girls loved it. My youngest packed one in her carry on when we went to Maui a couple of weeks ago. TSA made us open up her little backpack and we had to leave it with them/toss/dispose it. It was such a disappointment because it was a brand new unopened fidget toy! I guess that means I need to go back and purchase another one for her and we must never bring it on the airplane again. My husband enjoys Tal's bakery items. I enjoy Pinot's Pallette. I guess there is someplace for each one of us!

Vasco Plaza was the first shopping area I came to, so I stopped to see what they have. It's a big plaza with not much activity. Most of the business seems to be for the Starbucks. There's a seafood market, but there's hardly any customers. Most of the plaza are small and medium size restaurants. There used to be a drugstore here, but apparently it shutdown. You can tell by just looking at the place, there's a major tenant missing. But there is a wide variety of eateries, so maybe I'll return when I have more time and try one. Lots of parking!
